It is a pity that in such a monastery there are no trees, both deciduous and fruit, which would create, in the sultry heat, coolness and shade for people and fruits as viands for people. Earlier, about 15 years ago there was an orchard, which created comfort and coolness, and then all the decorative evergreen trees were cut down and planted. They, these trees are for decoration and in our heat they do not provide shade and coolness, unless our spiritual fathers and part of the public, together with the khokimichtom, cannot understand this. There are not even enough shops for those who come to prayer to rest, and what is there right under the scorching sun.
Kasim Sheikh is one of the most beautiful active mosques in Navoi. Unfortunately, we were in April during the romazan and could not get inside, but from the outside it looks very impressive, a gorgeous mosaic. There are not many historical buildings in Navoi at all, so be sure to visit.
An excellent architectural complex, everything is in Oriental style, beautiful, authentic. There are signs in Uzbek, English and Russian. We really liked it.
