It is a very beautiful church. A very majestic building. I liked.
In the central part of the eastern side of Charles Square, at the intersection with Yechnaya Street, stands the majestic Church of St. Ignatius of Loyola. The temple makes a special impression in the evening, when, illuminated by the rays of the setting sun, the contours of the sculptural decoration of the facade and, especially, the statue of St. Ignatius framed by golden radiance stand out.
The church is considered the third largest European Jesuit complex.
It should be noted that for the construction of this temple, the territory had to be cleared and 23 medieval houses demolished.
