This steeped in history place is very peaceful. On the picturesque plain of the right bank of the Syr Darya, once on the banks of the great river, it is now surrounded only by agricultural fields and their fruits. However, even by the preserved scale of terraforming, it is easy to imagine what once, two thousand years ago, was the legendary, great city of Kangdiz. Founded by the Hellenes of Alexander the Great, striking in its strict geometry of shapes, it was nevertheless captured by the Turanians, giving the name to the power of the semi-nomadic Kangles. The capital of Kangyu is mentioned by Chinese sources, and in Iranian folklore it has forever remained a mythical citadel far to the east.
An interesting monument for people who want to see historical sites and have a developed imagination). It is better to combine it with viewing the Shahrukhia settlement, located 12 km from Kanka on the banks of the Syrdarya River
