Only popped in here for beers before. We had better service when we stopped for beers twice. Third visit, we had food and beers, only to be extremely disappointed. The quail was supposed to be served with mashed potatoes, but was a cauliflower purée. Seems they didn't realise they have translated wrongly in the menu and misled diners. And the quail was tiny. The lamb soup was oily and the lamb meat was tough. You'd expect better quality at that kind of pricing, if not quantity. Seriously. Not worth getting upset to ruin our holiday here. So, we decided not to order more food and just stick with drinks and go somewhere else for more food. and a bottle of Pellegrino cost more than our beers. And then, you have to pay first, then they show you what you are paying for, and apparently, that's a local law. What utter nonsense as we've signed at several restaurants in the city. In addition, they seem to treat you differently if you are Asian or look like them. Not all Asians are local. And not all with same complexion speak the same language. Think more training is needed here. We popped to Paul next door with fantastic service, and non pretentious food, just as good plating, tasty and reasonable prices.
