I have never been so disappointed, both with the service and the food. 1. Staff cheating on service charges. We were charged the equivalent of €13.50 in service charges on top of the bill. This charge did not appear on the bill but was arbitrarily added to the bill by the waitress when we paid by Visa card. When asked about it, she played dumb and claimed ignorance, saying only that she would now have to pay it out of her own pocket. Our bill then incorrectly included a bottle of red wine that we hadn't even ordered. Pathetic behaviour towards customers/tourists. 2. The bill was only issued in Armenian script. At an ‘international airport’, I expect another version in English or at least Russian so that non-Armenians can also read the bill. How else are you supposed to understand the amounts? 2. Given the exorbitant prices, the portions were only big enough to feed a small child. This meant we had to order several times. All in all, disappointing and not to be recommended.
