I was there last week for dinner one night and ordered Oothappam. There was a delay, as expected, but I was pleasantly surprised. The sambar was a little watery though but did not miss much on taste.

I was there only to check out the bookstore named after my favourite writer. Most books are in Russian though I did find a small section with English books. I picked up a cool coffee mug with Dostoyevsky 's pic.

Very cheerful service and the good was excellent too. The bread platter and tiramisu had me in tears of joy. The eggplant in Sicilian sauce was also very good.

Amazing history and architecture. Only spent half a day there. Next time around, want to spend more than that, for sure.

Simple little place very conveniently located near Tulskaya station with good access to tram, bus and subway network. Nice restaurants and shopping also available in the neighborhood.
