The sculpture represents a mother with a child. It was established because initially the sanatorium "Neman-72" was a children's one. It was created in the style of socialist realism; obviously, it has no artistic value, but it is interesting as a monument to the era.

The sanatorium in Soviet times was a children's one, and the sculpture was the central element. It is good that it was left as a tribute to that era, there is something to show and tell the children.
