A must-visit!!! Perhaps the best institution of national cuisine in terms of price-quality-assortment ratio! And the tinctures here seemed to us the most delicious - there is only a choice of 6 names, but it's worth trying each one, and everyone will find "their own"!
We have been to this particular cafe twice (8-10 times online in different cities) - everything is very tasty everywhere (plus or minus), it is better to book a table in advance (especially for the evening), but no later than a day before the visit. In this institution, the service is at a very high level (unlike Grodno, where dirty dishes were not removed from the tables for hours - apparently there is not enough staff). The interior is different - in some establishments it is modern, in some it has a national flavor. Both are here (on different floors). We really liked the assorted dumplings, potato grandmother, ribs (the knuckle was a little greasy, and the ribs were super!), from desserts, the leaves are good (apple filling without a single "membrane-bone)!!!
We will definitely come back, thank you.
Excellent location in the very center. We rented an apartment nearby, it was very convenient.
The dishes on the menu are all hearty, there are many national dishes. Salads, snacks, local beer, cocktails. But keep in mind that a variety of pancakes, dumplings in hot pans are quite fatty. The restaurant has a pleasant atmosphere, and a summer terrace is open in the warmer months.
On the downside, there were long queues in the summer to wait for free tables, the place is very popular with tourists. At the same time, the service itself is quite fast.
We visit Minsk regularly and always try to have dinner in Cornflowers) Thank you for your work and the atmosphere.
I will say that it is a pleasant atmospheric place in a national style and traditional cuisine. The pitch is beautiful. They serve quickly, everything is clear. I didn't try everything, but what I took was delicious. The drinks are decent, I can't say about alcohol, I don't drink, but the neighbors were happy to order. The only thing is that the flow of tourists is such that there is a queue of 5-10 people at the entrance and waiting for an empty table. I think it's better to book a table in advance. We were lucky, there were places on a weekday afternoon, but it was tight. The staff is polite, but seems a little tired. I highly recommend you to visit!
A very good chain restaurant of Belarusian cuisine. Everything is delicious and inexpensive, but very high in calories)
The dishes are simple, the portions are very solid, but this homemade food.... mmmmmm.... just a pleasure!
I want to come back and enjoy such a delicious treat so close to any ordinary Russian person) You can take absolutely everything - it will definitely be delicious! Simple serving and artless interior do not make the place bad: it's just a simple place for simple (but very tasty) food!
I definitely recommend you to visit!! And then to the gym) One of the pleasant features is the low price for wine: a bottle of Australian Sauvignon blanc for 1,500 rubles (not Belarusian) is just very good!
It is a very advertised place, everyone knows and recommends it. I liked: a variety of dishes, convenient location, pleasant atmosphere inside, music, dishes, interiors. I didn't like it: the staff is acting strangely and not very well coordinated. At first, we were strictly warned that we would have to wait in line for 20 minutes, but in the end, after 5 minutes, we were already escorted to the table. The girl wiped the table in front of us and did not do it very well, I got dirty with cream that was left on the table from previous guests, they did not take the order for a long time, moreover, the waiters did not seem to be busy. The dishes themselves, admittedly, are very tasty.
Well, what can I say? Delicious, fast, affordable, high-quality.
We visited the Cornflowers cafe and were satisfied. The dishes were brought quickly, the waiter advised competently, and did not impose anything additionally. He was moderately polite and joked at random. He has a separate star) As for the kitchen, I liked everything, especially the pancakes with mushrooms, it's just chanterelle season. Draniki with machanka is an exceptionally traditional dish, I did not go in, draniki are sour in this dish and machanka is for an amateur, I would not order it a second time, but even so, the quality of the products is excellent, everything is fresh and very decent in itself. The interior is in the classic style of Minsk,
A work colleague advised Cornflowers to visit. A pleasant place, its own style, clean and original. Very friendly staff in stylized clothes. The menu is varied. The beer is delicious. But, according to the quality of the dishes ... not very. The refrigerator is delicious, thank you! But the pancakes were fried in rancid oil. very bitter! And potato chips with mushrooms and cheeks did not please. In the end, I just took a bite and asked to pack everything with me....Despite the fact that I love potatoes in any form! I will not speak for my husband (this is a separate story). Many guests like Cornflowers, there were enough people. And we didn't go a second time...
A wonderful idea with local cuisine and a nice interior. Affordable prices, delicious food, and therefore a huge number of people who want to eat here. The order was accepted quickly, but it was completed within 30-40 minutes for hot dishes. Drinks were brought quickly, and in order not to sit without food, you need to order snacks or salads. They took draniki, of course, with various additions. I do not know what they should be in the original, but these are pancakes with potatoes added. There is a lot of flour, I would prefer more potatoes in the composition. Delicious, satisfying. It is possible to make your own impression only by personally visiting the cafe. And of course, for the tourist season, you need to increase the number of chefs.
This is a storehouse of Belarusian food. All the top dishes are on the menu. And everything is done well. An authentic setting. Only dranichkov for every taste. And the herring....MMM. I'm writing and drooling. There is also a drawback. The administrators of the halls are not aware of the availability of seats, and at what stage the guests are. But this can also be turned into a plus. Do not stand in line, but go inside and have never been so I did not find an empty place. But in general, this is a serious disadvantage and requires study. There are a lot of waiters, but they can't collect information. They cannot pass it to the assigned waiter. Therefore, the administrator cannot accumulate information either. Shortly.. Kitchen, top. Tuteisha top. The organization is lame.
A wonderful chain restaurant of national cuisine. Excellent interior with comfortable sofas. Friendly staff. A large selection of dishes. Soups, salads, meat dishes and, of course, branded potato - zeppelins with minced meat, potato grandmother in a pot and several types of pancakes. Everything is sooo delicious. Excellent local draft beer. The restaurant is a success - despite the large number of tables in the inner hall and on the terrace, there is a queue at the entrance at lunchtime.
There is a cafe on the avenue in a beautiful place, there is a lot of space on the veranda, flowers are outside, the staff works clearly, the service is very good, the menu is inclined to national cuisine, you can eat both draniki and machanka, while there is fish on the menu and for vegans, delicious lemonades, breakfast is given until 11 o'clock, waiting time the norm, according to the receipt, you can have lunch up to 40 rubles, minus - there are no outlets on the veranda, seat cushions are stained, it's time to update
I really liked the cafe! Cozy, delicious, a large selection of local dishes. We tried a lot: pancakes, baked dumplings, meat, zeppelins, cottage cheese dessert (well, very tasty!), cabbage soup. There is a queue, especially in the evening, but not long to wait, we were quickly seated at the table both times.
I highly recommend it! Although later the locals told us that the Cornflowers contain pancakes in frozen billets that are brought from somewhere. Maybe the restaurant itself will explain whether this is true or not?
Yes. You can and should go here. Firstly, there are the best Draniki in Minsk and the surrounding area, and secondly, everything is very tasty here. The price-quality ratio is good. My daughter and I arrived in Minsk, according to reviews we found a coffee shop and stomped to it km from the train station. We just walked along Independence Avenue and noticed that in the morning the cafe was already filled with people (and this is a good sign). As a result, we didn't like the cafe we were going to at all, but we returned to Cornflowers for lunch with friends. There were a lot of us, and everyone was satisfied. By the way, then we went to another restaurant of this chain, and we liked it a little less. Apparently, there is a good chef here at the moment.
A chic cafe. We tried the delicious local cuisine. It is located in the center of Minsk, near the Main Gate of the city. Now there is a summer cafe, and you can also sit inside.
All the staff are very friendly and helpful, they will come up once again and ask if they need anything else. They know all the details about the dishes. They can advise you on the choice. We really liked the food. Unfortunately, there is no photo. But it's delicious. We tried pancakes with and without filling, hand-made dumplings, cepillines, mors and lemonade, dessert chocolate pie. Yum-yum))))
And once again I returned to my native restaurant! The dishes are delicious as always! The waiter Sonya is a good, attentive girl! He always asks if you liked the dishes, if everything is good. Thank you very much! (Entry 2024)
The restaurant is gorgeous!!!! Cool Belarusian design. The food is served in large portions and very hearty. My friends and their little sister are thrilled!!!! The staff is responsive and positive. Hot dishes are cooked for about 40 minutes, but because of the atmosphere, time is not felt. The Ministry is well-planned. Children are given a coloring book. The waiter Dmitry served perfectly! I brought everything quickly :) (Entry 2022)
Cafe Cornflowers is a pleasant place, vacationing in Minsk, we came here for lunch and dinner, a good assortment, delicious, it is important that the food is brought hot, it is very important that friendly young people waiters work quickly, although the cafe was packed on Saturday and Sunday, there was a queue on the street at eight in the evening ten people to come in, this is what Is he talking? Well done! Thanks to the kitchen.
A wonderful atmosphere, immersing in the Belarusian flavor, delicious national cuisine and pleasant prices.
I would especially like to mention the work of the waiters Yana and Arseny - they were incredibly attentive and friendly, creating a truly cozy and friendly atmosphere.
Everything was very tasty, especially the salad with warm chicken, pork ribs and pancakes!
I definitely recommend this place!
A great restaurant with a good selection of local dishes! Pleasant environment. Polite staff. The price tag is very democratic, and the portions are huge! I recommend you to visit! But a tip: it's better to go in advance or book a table, because there's even a live queue for seats. A very popular place. On a day off, my friend and I stood in line for 10-15 minutes at the table and it was lucky
A great place for both a quick lunch and a measured dinner in a pleasant company. Everything is delicious, with an emphasis on national cuisine. The stars were removed for the absence of a business lunch menu at lunchtime on weekdays. I don't know if this is related to a "tourist" place (for example, in an institution on the Ave. Independence, 87 business lunch menus are always given) or with the desire of the administration to earn more (the profitability is lower at business lunches). A trifle, but unpleasant ((
It is still one of the most interesting chain establishments in the city, with a constant queue of those who want to relax.
A varied menu for a wide range of tastes, wonderful national dishes in excellent execution.
A convenient, long bar map with very high-quality positions.
Extremely attentive and correct service, and well-deserved tips.
I can safely recommend any company
The Cornflowers restaurant has forever sunk into my heart, just like Minsk itself!
Very tasty! Very cozy! Very friendly!
I liked everything!!!
If you are visiting Minsk, be sure to visit this corner of Belarusian cuisine!
It warms in every sense of the word!
Everyone will be able to find something for themselves to their liking and of course to their taste!!!
Thanks to all the "Cornflowers" of this wonderful restaurant!
I recommend it!!!
It's a beautiful place. Very tasty pancakes, wonderful mushroom soup, great lemonade, delicious borscht with a ton of meat and magical Moldovan homemade wine.
And the prices are lower than in most cafes in St. Petersburg and Moscow.
You definitely need to look in if you are a tourist.
90% of the dishes are made from potatoes. Potato Paradise)
The service is great. The guys are friendly. There is WiFi for guests, but if the access point is far away (at street tables), then the waiters offer to distribute it from their phone. The best service.
Guys, make the QR code on the tip receipts already. I couldn't leave a tip, all the money is on the card.
PS: for Russians, payment in cash or with a mir card. Keep in mind. The visa and the master turn into a pumpkin.
For visitors, this place is just a cannon, in one place you can try all the local dishes. reasonable prices, everything is insanely delicious, a large selection on the menu.
Interesting interior inside.
What you might not like if you get into the hours when everyone is going to have breakfast / lunch / dinner, you will have to wait for a free table at the entrance. Also, if the kitchen is very busy, the waiting for dishes can last up to an hour.
Walking around Minsk, we planned lunch at the Cornflowers. My daughter and son-in-law were advised as one of the best chain restaurants of Belarusian cuisine. We found the nearest one. Located in the center. We were offered a place on the second floor. They chose it for the kitchen, as the heat outside was hellish. The interior is stylized. The tables are large and comfortable. A comfortable distance between the neighboring one. There are a lot of visitors-they are prepared for a long wait. The drinks were taken out immediately. They suggested adding lemon to the beer, which surprised me a little. This is very unusual!!! It's delicious in itself, and I'm not a beer lover, but lemon has added pleasant refreshing notes. The main dishes were served in 30-40 minutes. We took traditional pancakes in various versions, salads, soup and assorted dumplings baked in a creamy sauce-it's just a bomb. Be sure to try it. Everything is very, very tasty. The portions are large, the price is affordable (six dishes with drinks cost 3 t.r. in terms of Russian). The service is high-quality. The staff is polite and friendly. Tips can be left in Belarusian or Russian rubles, as well as deducted from the card.
I would like to note that during our trip to Belarus, we tried draniki in various versions and in different establishments, including pretentious ones (I will write in another comment necessarily)- everywhere they cook in different ways and sometimes at an exorbitant price. Here is one of the best offers regarding price, quality, taste, and serving. But dumplings are still my favorite!!!
We visited the same restaurant in Vitebsk. I will tell you more about this in the next comment.
Great appreciation to the staff!!!
We definitely recommend it!
It's a great place. I would say that it is a popular favorite. I recommend it to early breakfast lovers. From eight in the morning, you can have a very tasty and satisfying meal. Very cool ready-made options, plus the possibility of an individual choice from porridge to fried sausages. Good coffee and delicious tea. The staff is at the highest level. They are polite and friendly, in other respects, like all the Minsk residents with whom I had a chance to talk.
A wonderful place where you can not only taste the dishes of the national Belarusian cuisine, but also plunge into the atmosphere of Belarus. Read the poems of the Belarusian classic Bogdanovich.
Very tasty pancakes, a meat treat and branded Belarusian beer. I would also like to mention the polite and pleasant staff, especially the waitress Elvira, who served us!
We recommend you to visit!
I highly recommend it! We came in once, then went every day several times! 🙂 Extensive menu, absolutely everything is sooooo delicious! I tried every dish - it's very tasty! There is often a queue of visitors to the restaurant, it doesn't take long to wait - 10-15 minutes, but isn't this an indicator of the quality of the institution?!! In addition to delicious dishes and good drinks, there is also a wonderful price tag! The prices are very affordable! The portions are large. It is quite possible to eat one dish. But it is unlikely that you will be able to stop, because it is very tasty! Potato casseroles stuffed with beef cheeks and sauce of champignons and boroviki… Just one love!
Well, in general, a solid five for the location, working hours, ESPECIALLY the MENU!!!!
With regard to food, everything is delicious, the products are excellent, the choice is huge! (I tried items from the menu in restaurants, the taste is not very different).
The staff are young people, active, energetic, as well as 5 points.
There was an "incident" in 3 days of visiting this cafe, they brought an unfinished carp, the dish was handed over, they did not include it in the receipt, they apologized, in general, an ordinary situation for any cafe.
I visited Belarus this summer, I am very happy with the trip! I had dinner at the Cornflowers in Minsk, I am grateful to the staff, wonderful attentive and friendly waiters, I got acquainted with traditional cuisine, I will not say that I became a fan of it, but I always like to try local cuisine when traveling to other places. Cornflowers has a large selection and decent service! I wish this network prosperity and stability!
Be in the institution twice. The first time was just fine, everything was delicious, served quickly. The price/quality ratio is also great.
The next day they wanted to come back again. There's a big queue at the entrance, well, we think, okay, we'll take it with us, but it wasn't there. We are told that for a takeaway order, we need to stand in line and sit at a table. The question arises - why, if we are not going to sit? Is it so difficult to accept an order?
In this regard, a minus point
One of the best online places in Minsk. Decent price/quality ratio, varied and delicious menu. Sauerkraut soup is very tasty and satisfying. Everything that was tried from the menu was definitely written to favorites.
Minus for the slow service and poor Wi-Fi. The waiters can not cope with the flow of people who want to, you have to catch them on the run. The Internet was constantly turned off, both on the veranda and inside the establishment
A very colorful Belarusian restaurant chain! Everything is as it should be in the national Belarusian cuisine - delicious, plentiful, fatty, potato! The portions are large, so you need to control yourself when you want to try everything at once. We managed to have breakfast, lunch and dinner, so we had a full meal on the menu. In the evenings, it is packed, up to queues of people waiting to board, so it is better to book in advance (and they do not book day after day, only for subsequent days, take into account when planning trips). The price tag is normal, 1.5-2 thousand per person - in ruble equivalent (with a moderate amount of alcohol)
The Vasilki restaurant offers a rich variety of Belarusian dishes. The food is very tasty! Beef medallions, pancakes with machanka, salad with tongue, fried mozzarella, mulled wine based on cranberries - everything deserves the approval of the chefs' skill. Of the minuses, I note that, apparently, the administrator does not care about checking cleanliness. Unfortunately, the pleasant impressions were greatly smoothed out by dirty toilet doors, a stained mirror, sticky and unwashed tables. Used napkins are lying on the floor, and the waiters just step over. The lamp above the table does not work. The boards on which the dishes were served are dirty. There is no desire to visit this place again!
The place is good, clean enough, atmospheric music, beautiful and interesting design. The food is delicious, here I tasted the most delicious borscht in my life. The price corresponds to the quality. They cooked for quite a long time, and the waiter did not write the dish in the order, did not repeat the order aloud, well, we had to do without pancakes. But it's still worth a visit.
Very tasty!!! Very satisfying!!! At home!!! As it is drawn in the picture in the menu, those sizes will be))))) There are liqueurs, beer and cocktails, fruit drinks for children, homemade lemonades, smoothies, etc.!!!- this is a delicious yummy, with delicious sour cream...... )))))) The food is delicious and served quickly. For the second time in my life I saw a queue at a restaurant!!!
I recommend it from the bottom of my heart!!!
Beautiful waitresses, delicious and cheap food. National cuisine. Clean, cozy, comfortable.
We have been visiting for several years. This is the best restaurant of national cuisine in the city in terms of price/quality/serving volume/service. The best among the Cornflower food network in Belarus. One of the best overall! Respect to the chef and the administrator.
We have been here 3 times in 3 days. It's a great place. All the staff are very good: the waiters are all very polite, I really wanted to drink and brought some water for free. The food is delicious, the portions are large. I recommend, of course, draniki, I really liked grandma's mushroom soup (you can't pull your ears off mushroom lovers), tinctures, just like homemade ones. The prices are very pleasant, the two of us to eat and drink only averaged 2000 rubles. Of Russia. It's a great place.
Our friends recommended this cafe to us. The place is popular, there are queues at the entrance. We wanted to try the national cuisine. Everything that was ordered was delicious. There are no complaints. To be honest, I didn't really like the pancakes. In my understanding, draniki are potatoes, salt and pepper. Here they look more like potato pancakes. But this, as they say, is a taste. Or maybe there is a special recipe here.
In any case, the interior is pleasant, the waiters are very attentive, everything is clean.
Thanks! We will be in Minsk, we will come back.
Positive:
- attentive staff (replaced the chair with a high chair for a child of 3 years)
- delicious food (thanks to the chefs) and local draft beer
- caring staff (they recruited a lot from hunger, but they didn't eat everything: they packed the leftovers with them, and gave them a cup to "pour over" the leftovers of ice cream and even handed them a plastic table set, rather than eating this ice cream to a child in the car)))
Cons:
- not detected
PySy: thank you so much from Moscow)) for your attention and care!!! From the bottom of my heart!)
Excellent location, within walking distance from hiking trails, stylish interior, balanced menu, national cuisine, the dishes that we ate were quite successful and were eaten without a trace, several types of pancakes, potato dough, delicious local beer. The waiters are great - polite, helpful. The score was taken off during the waiting time, and I'm not even talking about the cooking time (about the fact that they might have been warned for a long time), I understand there was a full landing inside and almost full on the summer veranda. We were met and seated on the veranda, or rather we decided to sit there ourselves, but we sat with the menu for 20 minutes and did not pay attention to us until we caught a passing waiter who brought an order to a nearby table. After that, everything worked out.
I returned from Minsk the other day and I can confidently recommend Cornflowers! Amazing pancakes, snacks, soups. I especially liked the sandwiches. I don't like lard at all, but here it was something special. An unusual combination, ordered with vodka, but I ate just like that). It happens that there are no empty seats because the place is popular, but you don't have to stand in line for a long time. I can also recommend a rhubarb + white wine cocktail. It has an unusual taste, it is unlikely that you will try it anywhere else.
This is a super place in RB. If you want to eat delicious national food, go there!!! I will not list all the dishes, but you can safely order the 1st, 3rd and 4th pages, in general, everything you see on the menu is very tasty!!!!
The staff is responsive and understanding!
Don't skimp on tea, the guys earn it honestly!!!
In general, the main thing is to be able to get up from the table.
A super place.
Honestly, I don't remember, but the last time I was there was about 8-10 years ago, but as then, so today everything is at the highest level.
If Michelin Swedes were worth something, then this institution should have at least 5 of them!!!
I recommend it to everyone, bon appetit to everyone!
It is not so easy to find a cafe with national cuisine in Minsk and it is good that there are Cornflowers. There are 11 of them in the city, I think I went to this one, he was on the road all the time somehow))) A spacious two-storey cafe with a summer veranda, a thoughtful and stylish interior with national elements, delicious and inexpensive food. I only went here during the trip and I really liked it, the "grandmother" bewitched me in general, an insanely delicious dish! Once I heard from a nearby table how the guests answered the waiter's question whether they liked it, "if you only knew how delicious everything was!!!" To which the waiter replied, "I know," and smiled. I don't think I need any other words!
On the last day I went on an excursion and for some reason our guide did not advise me to go here, I was even a little offended by the Cornflowers, because I had the best impressions of this place! So don 't listen to anyone and come here - you won 't regret it 👍
Great place! The food is delicious, the staff is very pleasant, the service is at a high level. I tried pancakes with mushrooms, a cold one. I would like to write about the refrigerator separately, at first I thought it was a cold beetroot, because I did not read the composition. It turned out that this dish is made on kefir. I was a little upset at first, but I think okay, let's try. It turned out to be much tastier than I could have imagined! I tried kvass, which is very saturated and even alcoholic! We went there to celebrate a meeting with our family, there were 10 of us and everyone was satisfied. Thanks!
In our view, the Belarusian cuisine restaurant on the main street of Minsk was positioned as an institution with a high level of service and the best traditional dishes in the city. Among the advantages, I will note the design of the hall with a folk style. At the time of our visit, there was a full boarding, and therefore we had to wait for the order much longer than the time stated by the waiter. The dishes themselves are quite ordinary, but the price tag is somewhat overpriced. It is recommended for a one-time visit and no more.
The restaurant of national cuisine, I highly recommend it to those who have come to relax. National music in the institution adds atmosphere! Food and drinks 10/10, a huge selection, everything is very tasty and served quickly, despite the fact that the hall is often completely filled. There is a queue at the entrance, it is better to book, but we queued for no more than 5 minutes, in any case it's worth it!
A wonderful atmosphere, a cozy summer veranda (the exception may be corner tables, as it is uncomfortable to sit in the bright sun)
The food is delicious, from drinks, in the heat I recommend trying currant lemonade. According to the waiting time, drinks are about 10 minutes, soups 20-30 minutes, hot for about 35-50 minutes. (This time is relevant for lunch and evening workload)
The staff is excellent, well versed in the menu and ready to help with the selection.
I recommend everyone who will be in Minsk to visit this institution.
