Wonderful place!
Quite simple. Just for walking with wife or fiancee. May be interesting for persons interested in plant species a bit unusual for Belarus.
08/24/24 we got to the event at the Botanical Garden. A great impression. Firstly, it is a very beautiful garden, well-groomed alleys, beautiful compositions. A beautiful indoor greenhouse. There is a pond with a goldfish (make a wish and it will definitely come true). Secondly, a very good organization of all kinds of entertainment, contests, puzzles for different ages of children. Nearby (and for this special thanks) there are chairs for parents while their child is having fun. There were mini cafes and shops with souvenirs and toys. We had a great time. The impressions are the most enthusiastic! We will definitely come again. Even if there is no event, there is something to see. We haven't reached the lake yet. I'm sure it's beautiful. I recommend. There is a parking lot next to the garden.
At least once, but you need to visit here. A peaceful place. Air. Trees. Plants. There may be some activities and music in the center of the park. There is an amusement park nearby. But as soon as you turn into any alley, there is silence and tranquility at once. You can just walk around and enjoy the beauty. Or you can just sit on a bench. There are plenty of them.
Of course, there is a special beauty here during the flowering period: May-June. But on any day of summer and early autumn it is also pleasant here. Despite the fact that we were on Saturday afternoon, there were few people. There may be issues with parking on a weekday. On weekends, parking is free on the other side of the avenue.
Good afternoon. I visited the botanical garden in Minsk. A beautiful park of very large size and an incredible number of plants are presented and decorated in various compositions. Of course, you can visit the park with children, especially with young ones, but with great caution. I have already said that the park is very large and the children will just get tired of walking around it quickly. Of course, there are many benches where you can relax. There is also a pond with swans in the park. The infrastructure around the pond needs to be repaired. The bridges are quite dilapidated, be careful. There are alleys that are about a hundred years old. The walk was a pleasure, although my legs hurt a little.
We were in the garden in July 2024. A great place to walk in hot weather! The park is quite large, there are planted alleys and territories that look more like a forest park. A beautiful lake with an island and a swan brood! Lots of benches. There are picturesque flower beds and interestingly trimmed shrubs. The downside is the closed power points. It is very strange that in such hot weather it is impossible to buy water and ice cream. The power points are located only by the lake. I recommend this garden to visit.
A wonderful place, always pleasant to visit. This weekend we were at the youth festival in the botanical garden. It's beautifully organized. Interesting entertainment areas, unusual people with diverse interests, extraordinary views and approaches. Good varied cuisine. A wonderful concert. I have long wanted to listen to young Belarusian performers "live". Cool. The rest was a success! Oh, by the way, the roses are wonderful! I love roses! It was worth a look too!
I liked the Botanical Garden - a kind of corner of greenery, flowers, silence and shady alleys. It is located very well, next to Chelyuskintsev Park (Chelyuskintsev metro station). A lot of greenery and shady plants (which was very pleasant on a hot, sultry day). There is a pond where families of white swans and ducks live. There is a beautiful rose garden on the territory of the garden, in which many varieties of roses are raging. Those who love nature, plants, flowers - come here!
A full adult ticket costs 12by. There is a discount system.
A huge territory, you can walk for a long time, enjoying nature. We were in May, everything is blooming and fragrant here. A very beautiful pond. There are shops and cafes on site. Beautiful swans! But stupid people who climb over fences and disturb the swans sleeping on the shore are very annoying. Although there are signs so that they do not approach the birds. Dear management, please keep an eye on the safety of flora and fauna!
A great place to relax and walk. Hydrangeas are my love! A whole field of blooming phlox, dahlias, asters. Well-groomed conifers. Greenhouse plants - wow! As a florist and gardener with little, but already experience, it was interesting.
And this weekend, the My way event was organized (as I understand it, it is connected with India) with meditations, psychological conversations, massages and other interesting activities.
There are many fast food outlets, the prices are tolerable.
On Swan Lake we met .... a family of swans with three cubs. We didn't see any ducks, although there were a lot of them last time.
A huge park of old trees from all over the world is bewitching.
The ticket costs 20 rubles (includes entrance to the greenhouse). There are benefits for students and children (more detailed information is available on the kindergarten's website).
A wonderful place, we were on Friday in the morning, there are few people, quiet, calm, pleasant aroma from flowers, a huge area with various trees, shrubs, flowers. There is a cafe in the greenhouse. You can take a break from the hustle and bustle of the city. I can imagine how beautiful it is there when lilacs or something else are in bloom. On weekends in summer there are many different activities and entertainment, festivals.
A botanical monument of nature of national importance
The area of the botanical nature monument of republican significance "Central Botanical Garden" is 93 hectares
The Central Botanical Garden of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus is the country's largest center for the conservation of biodiversity of living plants, a leading scientific institution in the field of introduction, acclimatization, physiology, molecular biology, biotechnology, biochemistry and plant ecology.
Research and practical work in the field of plant introduction has ensured the creation of a gene pool of decorative and economically useful introduced plants from more than 15 thousand names, which is the national treasure of the Republic of Belarus.
We walked for 4 hours and did not go around everything, there are a lot of plants, there is a greenhouse, you can take a tour where they will tell you everything in detail. We walked by ourselves. We found interesting places. I liked the solitude with nature, there are no crowds of people.
A wonderful place! We spent half a day there in August with an adult son who knows biology perfectly well! It is beautiful and clean, excellent visual design, silence, a lot of employees work unnoticeably and create this beauty... There are a lot of interesting plants, I really want to visit there in the spring, during the period of mass flowering!!!
I really liked the Cosmonauts Alley!
I love the botanical garden. I come here very often.especially in summer.Interesting festivals are often held. There is a gorgeous greenhouse with tropical plants. A great place for photos!!!There is a lake. I advise everyone!!!!admission is 12 rubles. you can eat at the on-site cafe.there is also a shop where you can buy different plants-both indoor and for the country.
A good and informative institution, but where is the TB instruction? I think there should be a minimum! An open pond, a playground, swans walking freely, thorns on plants, etc. It will not be superfluous for young people and parents, many do not know how to behave! Further, there are few places where you can have a snack, and those that are available - because prices there are more expensive than in Moscow, and the service is at the level of "rural"!!! What's happening? Administration! To be honest, the reservoir is abandoned, no one is engaged, it is overgrown with algae and mud, the island is generally closed to the public due to accidents! The playground is squalid! And it's sad and gloomy around the playground. Make a maze of hedges for children, around the playground, it will be interesting, plant flowers nearby, create an atmosphere, it's for children! A flower slide is not a bad idea, but again it is not thought out to the smallest detail, it suddenly begins and also suddenly ends, there is no completeness and harmony. Routes and paths are not logically formed, some flower beds have not been visited by employees for a long time... There is something to work on and strive for, I hope the ice will move....
Walking children and men in the park, they recognized that there is a Botanical garden nearby. This is a gift. Leaving everyone who had already walked at the entrance, we went to explore the park, saying, well, we quickly, for an hour .....but no. As soon as we entered, we realized that it was right for two hours for sure. Everyone walks along the short route entrance aolea-oschero with swans, flower garden and exit. How do we know. The men told us that everyone had already left, who came in later, we walked to the greenhouse in a friendly and curious way, and there was not one of them. Yes, even in one eye and body rest. There was a lack of a leader in this abundance of flora...but we tried very very quickly to cover the inconceivable. Take some water with you! But we forgot and suffered. Well, maybe scooters around the territory or something that helps to cover the expanses...adults also like to visit such places.
A very pleasant place to walk. Clean, well-groomed, almost all the plants are signed, so the walk turned out not only pleasant, but also useful - I saved photos with the names that I want to plant in my garden)) I met groups with a guide in the greenhouse, listened a little) I liked the way they talked about camellia and paciflora! Now I regret that I did not book a tour((
A very beautiful botanical garden. There are a lot of flowers, various trees, and original steam figures. I just admired the openwork gazebo in oriental style, which is also illuminated in the evening. However, our walk was disrupted by rain and we could not visit the lemonarium, greenhouses, magnolia garden, island of arts and primitive parking lot. Well, we'll have to come again. But that's next year...
On a hot July day, a leisurely walk through the alleys of the botanical garden is a great opportunity to hide from the scorching sun and admire nature. The most beautiful swan pond. Hundreds of species of plants, flowers, and shrubs. Everything is packed and fragrant. There is a greenhouse with 15 types of lemons...
There are cafes for a light snack (ice cream, juice, water, etc.)
Have you been to Minsk and not been to the Botanical Garden? It's not okay! The most cozy and beautiful place where there is always something to see, where to walk and have a delicious snack. It will be interesting to you if you are a couple in love, if you are a married couple with children, and even if you are alone or alone there will also be comfort and pleasant energy.
A large, well-maintained, beautiful park, which is conveniently accessible by metro. The ticket offices have a large plan on which the entire layout is visible and you can pay attention to the flora that you prefer. The park has stylish, modern and very cute sculptures. I was particularly impressed by the rose garden and the beautiful shady alleys. The greenhouse is modest in size, but insanely cozy, with a classic colonnade. There is a cafe and a WC.
A wonderful place with a cozy atmosphere. It was at the end of spring, everything blossomed, there were many convenient locations. There is a cafe in the middle and a stunning greenhouse with birds and turtles. Each plant region has its own climate. I advise you to go to this place every week just to get some air.
A very cool place to walk and relax at any time, especially during the warm season)) manicured alleys of flowers, bushes and trees. There are many paths and paths decorated with installations of insects and someone else 😅 A very beautiful pond with swans 🦢🦢🦢and other birds. There is a greenhouse with tropical plants. There is a footboard.
A great place for a walk and for positive emotions. We were in early September and the flowering has already ended! It's a pity! There are many different installations and sculptures on site. I really liked the greenhouse. It is decorated in an original, compact way, but at the same time a lot of plants have been collected. Bridges, turtles, ponds with carp... Beauty!
The last time I was here as a child, I visited with my family now, although it was autumn, but we hoped that we would get positive emotions and have a good time, we were not disappointed, we spent more than three hours in the garden, I really liked it, I'm sure that it cannot be compared with summer flowering, but autumn has its own charm and charm. It was nice to walk slowly, although it was difficult, you were in a hurry all the time and imperceptibly quickened your pace... then you pull yourself together and learn to relax, to notice the beauty of nature,.. We were also pleased with coffee... you can buy a snack, there are many shops nearby.. and in the cool autumn, you can warm up with a glass of cappuccino. Fortunately, we did not have enough 3 hours to explore everything and we plan to return more than once to explore everything and just relax. I recommend...
A great place to walk all day. With friends, with children or visiting guests. The territory is about 92 Hectares.
Various plants are collected, both those found in everyday life and those found in warm latitudes.
In the center of the territory there is a greenhouse in which exotic plants are collected and there is also a small cafe where you can have a snack. There is a pond with local inhabitants of the reservoir on the territory.
A very cool place to walk with your family. It is ideal to walk when flowering comes. There is a pond with huge carp on the territory, and many turtles have also been seen. The downside is the roar and scream from the Chelyuskintsev Amusement Park. Various events are often held in the park, such as Bookids, Hedgehog Street, etc.
It's a wonderful place. Those who came to Minsk should definitely visit here. This is a small "paradise on earth". It is especially beautiful here in spring, when everything is in bloom. A unique variety of plants. There are rare plants, many of which are almost century-old (1930s). Entrance is paid. Thanks to this, it is not crowded here. It's always very clean. It's wonderful in spring and summer at sunset. The cost of admission is moderate. Discounts for large families upon presentation of a certificate of a large family.
A great botanical garden for a family walk. Clean air, a variety of plants, trees and flowers. Very well maintained. There are many benches for relaxing. Plants are represented from almost all continents. The walk brought only positive emotions.
A very beautiful place to relax. Here you can find many great photo locations, as well as many secluded and beautiful alleys for lovers of silence and solitude. There is an ecotrope for a complete connection with nature. A magnificent lake with swans. I want to come back here again and again.
The best park in Minsk. Entrance is paid. Got caught during the flowering of the garden rhodendron, the most beautiful alley! There are many areas with flowering plants, and just green ones. A wide variety of plants. There are benches for relaxing. The photo zones are magical, at any time of the day you can find lucrative sites. It is convenient to get there by metro.
The country's largest botanical garden with hundreds of different plants. Themed alleys of oaks, elms, maples, etc., plantations of roses, rhododendrons, lilacs and others blooming and smelling.
A greenhouse with exotic plants from all over the world, a rock garden. Lake.
A great place for long walks with children, romance. There are many locations for photos, including wedding photo shoots and lovestories.
This is one of the most interesting and indescribably beautiful places in Minsk. A huge variety of plants, flowers, shrubs and trees. Landscaping, well-groomed, shady and clean alleys. Free Wi-Fi is available in the Botanical Garden. Separately, I would like to mention the greenhouse, where tropical and subtropical plants grow. There is a large lake on the territory, where you can see majestic swans and various ducks.
A very beautiful and well-groomed park, a lot of plants, you need to visit in spring in bloom, it will be just fabulous, hares, squirrels, wild boars, swans, storks run, choose a time of about 2 hours minimum and walk, the tuaoets are all the cleanest, even the cabins.
I must admit right away: five stars is my subjective assessment. I really love this place.
This is a very large, well-maintained garden, with its own history and secrets (which only the curious can find and which you can't imagine at all if you haven't unearthed (and far from that totem)).
From a botanical point of view, it is a super place. A huge collection (what is in the public domain is far from everything) and a carefully made exposition. There is a great greenhouse and exhibitions. It is necessary to see the flowering of lilacs, rhododendrons, tulips. There is a cool plant shop, for home and garden.
It's a beautiful place. Therefore, it is necessary to visit it in the autumn, it is necessary to visit, eventually, each of its very different corners.
Events and festivals are often held, many of which, however, are not super mega cheap.
Cons: there is practically no place to eat, and where there is, it is very expensive. The layout of the garden may be simple.
The botanical garden is great! It's a pity we got there late, about 18 o'clock, and it closes at 21. There are a lot of different trees, shrubs, flowers. A pond with Swans. Variety of alleys. You need to go there for the whole day, walk slowly, breathe, relax. The alley of Cosmonauts was especially impressive - tui were planted and under each a sign on which it is written which of the cosmonauts landed. What I didn't like was a very unkempt rose garden, the flowers are withered, ugly.
One of my favorite places in Minsk. It is very beautiful at any time of the year! There is a wonderful greenhouse and a cafe! Children's playground! You can go for half a day with your child and have a great time. Not cheap, but worth it! I wish our garden only prosperity!
A great place to walk, lots of amazing plants, incredible corners. Children's festive events are often held in the garden. The territory is large, you can walk different routes, find something new every time.
An amazing place not only to relax, but also to learn. The world of plants and your inner world. I saw a lot of plants that I adore: flowers, shrubs, trees. And I saw trees that I didn't know existed. The catalog is beautiful! It even sounds beautiful...
A large park and lots of plants. Admission is free. There is a lake with swans. Everything is in order, very quiet and clean. There are interesting alleys (cosmonauts), well-groomed park paths. It is worth visiting especially for lovers of flora.
The oldest botanical garden in Minsk. It was founded in 1932 with the aim of preserving plant diversity. More than 9,000 specimens of unique plant species are located on 153 hectares, about 2,500 grow indoors. It is one of the largest such facilities in Europe. A huge park in Minsk, striking in its beauty! We were here in early May, everything was in bloom! The fragrance is delicious! There are many types of tulips, rhododendrons, magnolias, ordinary apple trees, royal apple trees, lilacs and many more! It's hard to imagine how much work has been invested here! But the result is certainly worth it! The park is all well-groomed, huge, my husband and I love to walk, but we couldn't get around it all, we were tired. Get to the lake, there are swans swimming, bridges, it's also very beautiful! We were in the greenhouse. And in one place there are many, many lilac bushes, different, terry and ordinary, white, lilac of different shades! Such a beauty! A fantastic fragrance! While we were walking, we saw a hare there! And this is in Minsk, in the city of 😂 Such a big, lop-eared one!
I highly recommend taking a walk in this beautiful park. And many thanks to everyone who works here! A delightful park!
Yes, the entrance to the park is paid and it works from Tuesday to Sunday from 10.00 to 21.00, Monday is a day off. The cost is from 8 to 14 byn, depending on what you choose. Russians can pay with a mir card or in cash in Belarusian rubles
A great place to walk, a variety of forests and flowers, naturally different flowers bloom at different times. The cleanest air, events are often held in this location. The photo locations are amazing. there is a lake and stalls with snack tables🌭🥤
A good collection of plants, the territory is well maintained, clean, large. There are benches and gazebos to hide in the shade. There are eco-trails in addition to the main paths. Swans live and nest by the pond. Of course, it is uncomfortable in the greenhouse on a hot day. A great place for a leisurely stroll!
A great place to relax and explore new plants. Collections of flowering plants delight and delight the eye, and walks along shady alleys pacify. Many thanks to all the employees for their hard work and created beauty!
Super-adequate prices. A large and spacious garden area. Everything is very well maintained and beautiful! There is something to see here at every time of the year, especially in spring-summer-autumn, when the flowering of one plant replaces another !!) 🌺💐🌼☀ Swans and ducks live near the lake. But they do not need to be fed, because they are fed by the staff of the garden and they have a balanced healthy diet.
There are several cafes and a free cleaned toilet (and not a bio toilet, but normal indoor toilets).
In general, everything is just super!) I recommend and wish you to definitely visit here, or better yet, more than once. Because there is something to see here at every time of the year!) 😁😌🥰👍✌️
The rose garden is beautiful, the rhododendrons are on the right entrance, the ground floor is beautiful, a large area, all plants are signed, well maintained, benches, there is Internet, a pond is swampy with an island, there are small food outlets with ice cream and drinks. Alleys from the stalls in different directions, especially liked the spruce, tall trees.
A great place for those who love nature and various kinds of unusual plants. You can have a good rest and take a lot of photos, but you need to choose the flowering season of the plants you are interested in. I recommend you to visit
