The Float is one of the most atmospheric places in the Central Park of Almaty. The establishment stands right in the middle of the lake, ducks and sometimes swans swim around, and in the evening everything is illuminated with soft lights - it turns out an incredibly cozy and romantic atmosphere. It's especially cool to sit on the summer terrace: ducks swim nearby, they can be fed, and all this creates a sense of calm and relaxation. But the main thing is the food. It serves the most delicious shish kebab in the city: juicy, soft, not overdried, with a perfect marinade — just wow. Salads are also excellent: fresh, balanced in taste, without too much spice. Lemonades are no frills, just delicious, not cloying or watery. The perfect place for a romantic evening, meeting with friends or a birthday party - beautiful, delicious and atmospheric. The only drawback is that The Float has no delivery. Neither through courier services, nor directly. Sometimes you really want to order their barbecue with salads at home. Otherwise, it's a solid 5 out of 5. It's one of those places where it's always nice to come back.

I usually visit this place a couple of times during the summer. The average age for a family of two adults and three children aged 12... 15 is 25...30 thousand . But it seems that the leadership has changed. This time I was with my wife, a baby and two adult children on a weekday at 7 p.m. Everything is free inside, and more than half of the tables are occupied outside. We sat down outside at the 9th table, in the middle of the island. After 30 minutes of waiting for the menu, my wife went to the reception to remind me about the waiting guests. In general, after 45 minutes, without even waiting for the menu and imagining how long cooking might take, we decided that starving to death was not part of our plans today - we left. On the way out, the waiter called the receptionist to my request for a book of reviews. Without even apologizing, she offered to "try again")) Seeing the customer orientation and "professionalism" of the staff, I insisted on the book. They brought a notebook specially prepared for the "enthusiastic" reviews, in which the last entries were in the 22nd year - I didn't even waste time on it. If the quality of service is at the level of communication with the client, then what happens in the kitchen? Suddenly someone from the management reads this review and thinks that this is the machinations of competitors, let them look at the cameras, if they have them. It was August 5th. While driving home, we ordered food from another place through the app and had a delicious dinner upon arrival. What a contrast!

My favorite restaurant. I love the atmosphere, the location, the delicious dishes. In winter for the skating rink, in spring for Nauryz and Maslenitsa. Because they always organize something for every holiday here. Especially for kids. When I come here, it's like there's a sense of nature in the shade of the trees and inside the lake, and I don't have to go out of town. You can walk first through the park, visit the dolphinariums, the water park, the zoo and then enjoy a rest in the restaurant. It is possible when a lot of people will have to wait a little longer for an order, but they will be warned about this. In the evening, if it's cool, you can wrap yourself in a blanket and listen to a live performance, usually on weekends in the afternoon and evening.

In its large territory, children's and adult attractions, summer cafes and fast food outlets and goodies are available in summer.
