Visiting the Summer Palace in Beijing was an incredible experience. The complex is huge and full of magical corners: gardens, pavilions, temples, and, of course, the huge Kunming Lake, which gives it a unique serenity. Walking along its paths surrounded by nature and traditional Chinese architecture is like traveling back in time.

The Summer Palace in Beijing is a masterpiece of Chinese architecture. Huge pavilions, a marble boat and a long covered gallery with frescoes. It's very beautiful for walking and taking photos, but it's better to arrive early - there are a lot of tourists in the season.
