It's a very impressive place, right in the rock! Where else will you see such as in Avanos, the city of potters? This workshop is a family business that has been in existence for 2 centuries. After an excursion into history (and business began to flourish here around 1200 BC), a story about clay from the banks of the Red River and the stages of the production process, in 15 minutes, before our eyes, a master on a potter's wheel made a sugar bowl with a perfectly fitted lid. In the distant past, before getting married, a young man had to learn how to work with clay in order to earn a living. Visitors can try their hand at mastering this. There are dishes on the shelves that have yet to be painted. Artists are also engaged in the decoration of products there. And in the shop at the workshop, the abundance of beauty is literally a delight! Vases, bowls, dishes, pots of the most bizarre shapes with delicate ornaments. Especially wine jugs with a hole. According to the ancient Hittites, the light of the sun passing through it blesses the wine. Shooting copyrighted works is not welcome, but everyone took advantage of the opportunity to take a couple of shots of phosphorescent luxury with the lights off. You can buy what you like, although the pleasure is not cheap. But the beauty is worth it.
