I really enjoyed the trip to the old town. Beautiful buildings, lots of cafes and shops. A beautiful temple. The Mondo Tea and Coffee Bar has an observation deck. We bought a mango smoothie on one of the streets, delicious and beautiful. You can take a look at the museum, which is located in the former school. It won't take much time - the exposition is small. The museum, which is located in the clock house, was closed for restoration in March 2026. We spent 5 hours in the city (14-19), saw it both in the light of the sun and in the glare of evening lights. I really liked it! I recommend you to visit. This attraction, by the way, is located near the Central shopping center with an aquarium. You can combine visits to these two interesting places.

Be sure to come on weekends when the Sunday market is open and the streets are filled with a special life. Here you can walk for hours, take amazing photos and just enjoy a leisurely stroll. I recommend trying the local street food! A perfect contrast to a beach holiday.

A very beautiful place with unexpected architecture for Thailand. Great restaurants. I recommend all tourists to take a walk in this Old Town. I also highly recommend buying Thai tea and coffee 3 in 1 (perhaps the best 3 in 1 of those that I have tried) of the Orta brand here, in one of the souvenir shops. My favorite coffee is with mango (see photo), there is also coconut and pomegranate.

Phuket's old Town is a place where you want to walk without a plan or a clock. Narrow streets with bright facades, street musicians, souvenir shops and a sea of street food at every turn. The atmosphere is light, creative and very photogenic — the shots seem to come from Pinterest. You can wander for hours, try something delicious and just catch the island vibe. If you don't want a beach, but a color, then you're definitely here.
