The only big advantage of the hotel is its location: all the main attractions and museums are nearby. Our room was a two-room junior suite: large, freshly renovated, new furniture, but for some reason there was a strong smell of non-residential premises, especially in the bedroom. There is air conditioning, refrigerator, hair dryer. There are no water coolers. To my question, the receptionist replied that they drink tap water.....Minuses: 1) gray, washed, hard towels. We've been to different hotels, but this is the first time.....2) In the evening we wanted to take a shower, but there is no hot water.... In the morning I ask the administrator: "Do you have a problem with hot water?". He replied that they had only recently begun, they say, the CHP lowers the temperature at night. Well, you have to warn about such things!!! In the morning (at 8 o'clock), I also had to wash with cool water. In general, it will do for 1-2 nights, but there was a desire to leave as soon as possible.
The hotel is located in the very center of the city, within walking distance of many attractions. The check-in took a couple of minutes, the staff was very friendly. The room is large, several windows, modern. Good Wi-Fi. On the downside, you need to take care of breakfast yourself. But it is located in a solemn building with columns, stairs and chandeliers from 1954. The painting of the hotel is even in the art gallery.
The hotel is as beautiful from the outside as it is simple inside. A very friendly girl at the reception told me everything - what to see, where to have dinner and even a brief history of the city. Special thanks to her! The location is excellent - the very center. All local attractions are nearby. Convenient parking. The room is modest and clean, but I was very confused by the dried spiders on the walls and on the blinds. The bathroom is clean, the bed linen is a cheerful chintz, but it's better than white, but with spots. One of the disadvantages is the lack of breakfast at the hotel and, since we were in the summer, young people, cars, motorcycles with all the consequences were under the windows until late at night... There is a vending machine with decent coffee on the 1st floor, so we refueled with it on the way. In any case, it's better than nothing for those traveling by car.
I was there 31st , I really liked it , the hotel is in the center , convenient location , the architecture is super!a clean room , in general , they are very careful about cleanliness there, they did not have time to move in , the money was already cleaned , soap was updated , shampoos were added , shower gels were added , although they were still unused , the room was perfectly cleaned when moving in, in general the stairs of the hall are very clean, the admins liked the reception, very friendly and will help with any question,You can leave your things and I'll show you the way to the sights.
I stayed at the hotel for a couple of days. Good service, polite staff.
The hotel is located in a convenient location, close to the main attractions.
The rooms here are very clean, cozy and equipped with everything necessary for a comfortable stay. The hotel staff is very attentive to guests and is always ready to help with any questions.
There is a restaurant and a cafe nearby.
The overall impression of my stay at the hotel remained very positive, and I will be happy to return here again. I recommend this hotel to anyone who is planning a trip to Polotsk.
A pleasant hotel in the center of Polotsk. Friendly staff, fairly quick check-in. All attractions are within walking distance. It needs renovation, of course, but the rooms are spacious and comfortable. There was a lack of a foot towel, a shoe horn. At the first request, an iron was provided, but there was nothing to iron on. If there is a ironing room, it will be just wonderful. If there is a breakfast service, it will be generally wonderful because the nearest cafe where you can have breakfast is open from 9:30 in the morning.
I'll start with the pros:
- Excellent location - you can't find a better place in the city
- From the "wedding suite" - a great view from the balcony of the city (see video)
- The reception staff is very friendly, they gave out a list of nearby establishments, told about Wi-Fi and even printed out a map of the sights of Polotsk - very nice of them
- 24-hour coffee machine on the ground floor, coffee is not very good, but inexpensive
- Wi-Fi works well
Unfortunately, the advantages end there, which, in my opinion, is not enough for such a price
Now the cons (for which actually 2 stars):
- The repair is present (no longer a scoop), but it is clear that it is a little shabby and initially made as economically as possible;
- The technical equipment leaves much to be desired, the sockets are located as inconveniently as possible (thanks at least there was an extension cord), a kettle with a sunken button, a hair dryer dries short hair for 1.5 hours with the smell of burnt plastic and a TV with 8 channels
- From cleaning the room: used towels were taken away, everything, garbage was not removed, shower gels were not updated, nothing at all, it's okay not to clean when guests are settled, BUT the room has not been cleaned for a sooooo long time, there are a lot of midges in the ceiling, cobwebs on cornices and chandeliers, tulle is all stained. Before going to bed on the first night, I had to escort out an uninvited roommate in the form of a spider, albeit peacefully, but menacingly, hanging from the ledge next to the bed.
I stayed in a suite on the third floor
I really liked it
The room had a balcony, the view was gorgeous. The bed is comfortable, the room is spacious. The girl Dina at the reception is very friendly, quickly settled in, suggested where it is better to eat, and so on.
In general, I recommend it, minus no breakfast.
Thank you for creating such a wonderful hotel! Located in the very center of the glorious city of Polotsk!
We took an economy class room with friends for three, it cost us 100 rubles!! It is very beneficial for us, as students, being on vacation! They took the number 409. And just look at this number! What a wonderful interior! It's very clean, neat, atmospheric! We were very satisfied with the rest! It's amazing! We were in a fairy tale! Thanks!
The staff is very friendly and attentive, accommodating. Attentive and sensitive approach to each guest! An administrator is present at the reception around the clock, ready to solve any problem.
It was comfortable and pleasant for us to be here! There is a great atmosphere and a cozy interior.
We are pleased that we chose this particular place to relax. We recommend it to everyone. We will definitely come here next year!
The hotel is not bad. It is impossible to say directly that it is worthy of 3 stars, but it also falls a little short of 4, unfortunately((
The hotel has an excellent location, very pleasant and helpful staff. The receptionist who met us was very friendly, immediately offered a kettle in the room, asked if we were interested in breakfast and offered us a list of places where and at what time you can have breakfast. The room itself is clean, tidy, overlooking the main street!
But... Very old repairs, and very thin walls, because of this, there is a lot of audibility of what is happening on the street (((
The very center of the city! From the outside, the hotel looks super. 1950 fifties built. They settled in instantly. The inside of the room is a little tired. Torn wallpaper, smoky curtains, bathroom ceiling with holes! But!!! The rooms are really large in size. The price corresponds to the situation). Inexpensive. At night, a drunken group was playing football on the asphalt in the courtyard. At 2 a.m., he turned to the boy at the reception, said that he had heard and was going to contact the police. A minute later, the players were gone. Friends probably! There are no breakfasts. There are many cafes around the hotel. Very cool))). Of course, next time I'll stop right there! Because there are no options.
A very beautiful building in the center of Polotsk. A good restaurant. Near the hotel you can see the sights of the city within walking distance. The room is clean. The staff is friendly.
The Slavyansky hotel complex is a prime example of decent service and high-quality service. The rooms are pleasing with their cleanliness and neatness of the interior, for its price a wonderful find. I was also pleased with the hotel staff, who are always ready to help if you have any questions. The hotel itself is located in the center of the oldest city in Belarus, all the sights can be visited in one day to enjoy the beauties of antiquity and get better acquainted with the culture of the native land. In addition, the hotel complex has a restaurant, several salons, a hairdresser, etc. which is very convenient. Our stay at the hotel left a positive impression, if we ever have to stay in Polotsk again, then of course we will stay at Slavyansk again.
I recommend. The hotel is always clean, the staff is friendly. There is a private parking. The city center.
I was surprised by the location of the noisy refrigerator next to the bed))
I wanted to stop and relax in a city and a place where there is peace and there is no drive. As promised, the room had beds, shower, silence, cleanliness, Internet. The staff is 5 out of 5, there was a cafe or bar with a terrace nearby. Here is a powerful 1 star, some 3 stars are resting.
A good location. The rooms are clean. A comfortable bed. Of the cons:
- lack of air conditioning in the 2-room junior suite;
- lack of breakfast, although there is a restaurant on one side and a cafe on the other, but they start work at 11.00 and 10.00 respectively;
- persistent smell of cigarettes in the hallway.
I was at the hotel with a guy.I liked everything. The room is clean and beautiful, the bed linen is always fresh, you can buy souvenirs and have a snack at the reception. The staff is polite and friendly, which is quite important. The hotel is located next to shops and cafes, it is very easy to find. The hotel is very beautiful. We will definitely come here again!!
I was vacationing in the beautiful city of Polotsk with my family. I decided to choose this hotel in advance, despite a number of negative reviews, as sometimes reviews are without any specifics. I don't know why the hotel has only one star, considering the number of rooms and their division by comfort class. I chose a suite in the Provence style, but we were accommodated in a suite. I still did not understand how they differ fundamentally. The number was 327, just like in the photo from the official website. The view from the window is nice, on Franciska Skaryna Street. The room is spacious. That's where the advantages ended. Room cleaning is not carried out everywhere, as many of the upper shelves in the cabinets are dusty, as well as other items of both use and interior. Cleaning is also rarely carried out behind the sofa. Cornices without clamps at the ends, which led to the curtain falling to the floor when the curtain was pulled back. Bathroom without any ventilation, constant dampness. There is a curtain in the bathroom, which is unpleasant to touch for hygienic reasons, I had to move it away, and then wipe the floor from the water. The cherry of the whole holiday turned out to be mustachioed cockroach friends, who, closer to midnight, began their rampant life from the kitchen throughout the room. To pay tribute to the administrator, dichlofos was allocated for insect control, as well as options for other rooms below the comfort level were offered. Considering the number of things and the time of the stop (two days), we decided to stay in this room. Unfortunately, the rooms on the riser, as well as our room, were not closed for sanitation. Meals at the hotel are also not provided, although in the history of the hotel there was a restaurant at the hotel. What prevents us from agreeing with cafes located in the same building to provide breakfast to visitors today, I do not understand. I consider my review an appeal to those who are planning a stop at this hotel to think about whether a vacation is worth the money with a low-format level of service. I advise the hotel owner to take measures to improve the quality of customer service and take care of the health of visitors.
Overall, it's not a bad hotel.
Of the advantages:
1. Parking nearby.
2. Spacious, two-room junior suite.
3. Refrigerator, TV, kettle.
4. There's a cafe downstairs (but I haven't been there)
Of the cons:
1. Hot water is conditionally hot, as it is not drained.
2. There are VERY few television channels.
3. There is no call phone, as well as Wi-Fi.
4. There are only two glasses of cutlery / dishes (junior suite, after all).
5. Lighting - only the top, bright - uncomfortable ......
6. The girl at the reception desk - until you ask, she won't tell you anything (about parking, cafe)
7. Breakfast is NOT included - it is not.
To the advantages of the hotel, I can add a convenient location and the number of attractions / shops around.
Three stars correspond to the stars of the hotel.
Soviet building, Soviet rooms, Soviet furniture/plumbing.
The price is low, the rooms are clean, the staff is professional.
There are no comments.
There are snacks, drinks, souvenirs at the reception.
A nice hotel with a slight touch of Sovietism. Everything you need is present. The staff is responsive, no, WONDERFUL. The very heart of the city. Everything is within walking distance. I definitely recommend it.
A wonderful hotel! Beautiful design, delicious food in the restaurant, and, most importantly, the hotel staff! The guys at the reshepsh are professionals and very friendly. I liked the general atmosphere in the hotel. The decor is just fantastic! The impressions were great! The location of the hotel is in the city center, near the sights. I want to come back!
For the Belarusian hinterland, the hotel is quite convenient: it is located in the city center, literally next to a cafe with local cuisine and a steakhouse, the girl administrator Kristina will gladly fulfill any requests and whims (kettle, tea, disposable tableware, will explain everything in a popular way). Well, some inconveniences in the form of smell, lack of bedside lamps and specific water in the tap-so this is a local flavor and will not interfere with good and real travelers. Thanks!
Reception: very friendly, fast, and answering in detail related questions such as "where is the nearest store", "where to have a snack", etc.
Rooms: the renovation is so fresh that it smelled of paint. The furniture is stacked chaotically, but that's fine with him. The ceilings of the third floor... In our junior suite, they were all streaked. The bathroom is without complaints.
The convenient location is the very center.
Nice hotel, there is an elevator. There is an affordable cafe nearby, because there are no lunches and breakfasts in the hotel. The staff is helpful, the rooms are good, the mattresses are comfortable. 4+
A blessed place where you can get a boost of cheerfulness of mind and body, as well as the pleasure of communicating with the locals of the city, from whom warmth and tranquility emanate! Everything is great!
The hotel is for lovers of nostalgia for the Soviet past. Atmospheric. Rooms without air conditioning. Room keys. Friendly staff. A good restaurant in the hotel for lunch.
A nice old hotel in the city center. We started our journey around Belarus from Polotsk, and there is such a pleasant hotel here. I recommend it for tourists. All the sights are nearby. There is parking.
I took a junior suite. In general, everything is good for its category, the bed linen is clean and fresh, the room is clean, and the interior is a little old, but WiFi is working fine, there is a normal pressure of hot water. The guys at the reception are friendly, hospitable
It was autumn. It was great. This is a strong four!
The atmosphere is as cozy as possible!
The location in the center of Polotsk is perfect!
The infrastructure nearby is diverse.
Without leaving the Hotel, you can get to two restaurants) A great option for a pleasant evening.
The staff is a separate love!
We'll be coming back!
Everything was arranged, the center, everything is nearby, a walking area, recreation areas. The rooms are quite decent, the staff is qualified. All right
Cheap, clean, convenient. The hotel is located in the very center of Polotsk. One of the disadvantages is that there is no restaurant and no breakfast. Suitable for overnight stay one day.
A good place, everything is clean, cozy,
everyone is very friendly and polite, an atmosphere of good rest and excellent mood is created. Polite staff. Good WiFi, there is Parking. The room has good furniture, TV. A hairdryer, a kettle were offered immediately at the reception.
Polite administrators, it's nice to contact them with any request.
A good hotel complex in the historical center of Polotsk. Everything you need for life is there. There is a good Internet connection, which is important. I didn't like that the tap water was warm, not hot. Plus there was no heating (early October), as a result, I had to ask for an extra blanket. But the staff is very friendly and always ready to help ! Not far from the hotel complex there are good cafes, which is also very convenient! I recommend it for unassuming people!
The ideal location in the heart of Polotsk, a 10-minute walk from the bus and train stations. The staff is very friendly. The single room is modest, but everything is there and clean
We stayed in Gotinitsa with friends for two days. I liked everything, the staff is friendly, the rooms are clean, everything is within walking distance like cafes, restaurants. Very nice girls at the reception. Next time I will definitely stay here.
Nice room, comfortable beds, clean and well-lit rooms, polite staff. Convenient location of the hotel with a view of the city center. Everything is within walking distance (cafes, restaurants, entertainment, shops). I advise everyone to visit this hotel
A great hotel for your money. It is located in the historical center, not far from all the attractions, there are places to eat in the rows. Within walking distance of the railway and bus station. I recommend it!
Nostalgia about the Soviet Union, a functional hotel, a restaurant and a cafeteria nearby. The historical center of the city. Once I came with a girl and wanted to rent a room for the night, the receptionist did not let me in, so the service is clearly not up to par. Money does not smell, but there is clearly some kind of face control working here. 🙂😁👹
A normal room for two.
Convenient location
Parking for a car in the yard.
There are a lot of shops and cafes with restaurants nearby. I'll put an estimate of five, but minus one, hot water appears only at 10.00.
We booked a room. The "song" started right away. They said that there were rooms, but they could not book (then they realized that they were waiting for the go-ahead from some tour group) and would call back tomorrow. There was no call. We called back, it turned out that the room had been booked for us. Everything is fine. A letter arrives 2 days before arrival: by decision of the executive committee, we cancel the reservation! Apparently, guests come for a holiday (independence day and, As it turned out, the second day of the city), so I don't care about the reservation. Here is such a "wonderful" service
In general, it is tolerable, a large room with two air conditioners, a beautiful green view from the window, a bed with a good mattress. At the same time, the room looks very shabby (leaks, a curved shelf above the sink, a sliding wardrobe, there is a smell of sewage in the bathroom)
Maybe I was unlucky with the room, but the double standard was quite tired. And there was a ventilation pipe next to the window. Which buzzed until nightfall and the constant smell of cooking food. There is no breakfast. The only advantage is the location in the city center and the helpful staff
The hotel is not new, but the rooms and common areas are clean. At night, the hot water does not come immediately, you need to drain a little. There was a CRT TV in our room, it was showing poorly. The specialists at the reception work clearly. There is a parking lot nearby. The price is adequate. It is quite possible to live.
