I chose a language school for myself for a long time, reviewed a huge number of different schools, but decided to stop at this one and never regretted it. I have been studying here for a year now and I will continue my studies.
At first I was a little hesitant, but I decided to take the opportunity to attend a trial class. At the first stage, with the help of a test and communication with the manager, they determined my language level and selected a group suitable for the level. The atmosphere in the group was wonderful, everyone was sociable, funny and friendly. Teacher Anastasia immediately endeared herself, I really like her approach to learning, the program according to which we study, communication with the group, will always prompt, explain and help if there are difficulties somewhere.
I also want to note the convenience of the location of classrooms, and the classrooms themselves are equipped with everything for comfortable study.

I have been studying for the second month. Classes are held once a week, but everyone can choose a group according to their level and according to their workload schedule. An honest review of the ULC school. I came here to study in November 2023 at the A2 level (beginning), after 2 months I finish the B1 level. Now a little bit about the interaction with the school:
1) Very polite, unobtrusive managers. They offered to write a language level test right in the office. At that time, there was a native speaker in the office (Mac, I think) who tested my spoken English. Everything is cool and professional here.
2) At school, it is not possible to pay every time for one lesson or for one month and just leave. In general, this is logical, as it helps to avoid a huge turnover of students in groups, which is comfortable for those who came to actually pass and finish the level.
3) The payment terms were explained immediately. Either you pay the entire amount (textbooks and a discount are given for this), or in parts for several months in a row, or monthly in installments. In fact, the installment payment goes through the bank, so if you do not want to contact it, it is better to pay in installments. It didn't matter to me, so I took an installment plan. For a subscription for 12 months a month, it turned out to pay about 140 rubles (I studied online).
4) About the termination. If you have an installment plan, it is not profitable to terminate it. It's understandable: if you take the phone in installments, you can't come to the store and return it. It's the same here, with the training service. If you are not sure, it is better to take smaller subscriptions - for 6 months or less.
5) They offer different training options. Online, offline, evening and weekend groups. You can wait for the start of a new group, you can go to an existing group. I decided to wait for the start of a new one, it took me about 2 weeks to wait, but it was not urgent for me.
6) I did not have such a need, but I was told that there is always an opportunity to change the group and the teacher if I want.
7) In general, the manager was always in touch, helped me transfer the passes to the end of the training when I needed to skip. The feeling of interaction is positive, it is clear that we tried to meet them halfway.
What can I say directly about the training:
1) Teachers. Different specialists, Daria and Oleg, led at different levels. Everyone's approach is a little different, but overall I liked both of them: they are very friendly and try to explain everything. Despite the online learning format, the organization of the courses was at a good level. You could always ask something in the general chat, a link to classes in Google Meet was sent in advance. Textbooks in online format were also thrown off.
2) The group was small, about 8 people. Throughout the training, people came and went, but not that often.
3) I liked the training program. It was boring sometimes, but it probably happens that way a lot. I was pleased with the large amount of conversational practice, the teachers always tried to interact with each student.
As for the inner feeling: the result of learning is definitely felt. But again, it also depends on you (do you study at home, do DZ, etc.). The impression of the school is positive (before that, I studied A1 from scratch at another school, there is something to compare it with). I hope my review will be useful to someone =)

The disgusting attitude of the school towards its clients. You won't feel that way on your first visit. You will be treated well, everyone there is very polite, pleasant, but exactly until the moment you sign the contract. Next, your training is your problem.
And the fact is that you will be offered a contract that is extremely unprofitable for the client, because in case of termination, if the entire amount is paid, then nothing will be returned to you, and if you signed a partial payment agreement, you will pay the entire amount under the contract, also the cost.
Managers try to keep the client in this situation by all means, offering other forms of training, intimidating with large amounts of penalties.
In the contract for partial payment of courses, you will literally be given an installment plan, where exactly you will be the borrower, and the school will be the recipient of all the borrowed money. And it is you who will have to deal with the payments that will come every month, regardless of whether you have announced to the school that you want to stop classes or go.
This happened in my case, after expressing my intention to leave school for a third of my studies, I was asked to fill out an application, which was considered for 10 days. Immediately, the manager tried to dissuade, intimidating with numbers.
Next, I received an official response from the legal service, where they incorrectly calculated the amount, writing that they did not owe me anything, which I indicated to the manager. They redid my response to my application 2 more times, which took 2 weeks. Further, when I pointed out that I had paid for the month that the teacher was on vacation and we did not study, the school and its lawyers decided not to take this into account, ignoring me.
The situation dragged on for about a month, which I was pretty fed up with, besides, it was time to pay in installments for tuition, which I hadn't attended all this month.
I wrote a claim in which I indicated that I was ready to bear only the actual expenses incurred (classes attended and interest to the bank), which is an absolutely legitimate solution to the situation. In case of filing a claim, the legal service must consider it in 14 days, I received a response 21 days later, after I wrote an addendum to the claim and called a couple of times to remind them that they were violating the law by not giving me an answer.
The cherry on the cake was that the bank has not disappeared for all these 2 months and requires payment on schedule, otherwise the credit history will be ruined, which the school can only advise to continue paying.
After two months of hassle and consultations with lawyers, the school satisfied the claim and returned the money for the unvisited classes, however, not because they were client-oriented, but because they were afraid to go to court.
Whether to start studying at this school is your decision!

I have been studying German at school for 2 months now. I can note that the level of teaching is high; there are both experienced specialists with long experience and novice young teachers. They are not inferior to each other in terms of professionalism. I can already see progress in my knowledge, the conversational barrier has begun to gradually go away.

I studied at this language school offline for 8 months. Having reached the A1 level, I graduated from A2. There are no complaints about the teacher. Managers do their job in good faith. The group was friendly. There are many promotions and profitable packages.
But there are still disadvantages: in groups of 12 people!!! After listening to the audio recording, a dog-cat chorus begins; when they reach the grammatical part, everyone reads the sentence along the chain and only this can take 20 minutes. In the group, people are clearly from different levels and the same stronger ones will speak.
If you really want to learn a language, look for mini-groups or individually.

A little over a year ago, I decided that I was finally ready to take up English seriously. After a couple of months of self-study, I realized that it would probably be a better decision to go to a foreign language school. There is a large selection of such schools in Minsk, a lot of reviews about each one - positive, negative - this is normal, because all people are different. I decided that I should try it myself, and it would be the best experience. It was in May, and at this time all schools usually finish their annual course, and they plan to enroll in new groups only by September. And I need it NOW! In May! After talking with several schools, I chose ULC, because:
1. This is the only school that offered a start in May (in fact, they add to existing groups at any time when you are ready to start), I was lucky, I got to the start of the B1+ level group.
2. They offer classes with native-speaking teachers (which was a crucial factor for me, since it is very important for me to hear pure English pronunciation). And here I was doubly lucky, because I found my teacher the first time! (During the introductory interview, the manager will tell you that there is always an opportunity to try several groups to determine where you will be comfortable studying).
So, I believe that my positive learning experience at school is related to the teacher. Isaac is a young but insanely motivated man who really LOVES TEACHING PEOPLE! In addition to studying materials according to the curriculum (training takes place according to the English File educational materials, which themselves are compiled in such a way that you gradually improve all skills - to speak, listen, read, train grammar, replenish vocabulary, write. I especially like the set of B2 level themes - everything is exactly what will come in handy) ...yes, I return to the previous thought - Isaac constantly gives us additional tasks from different sources, which are slightly higher in level, which certainly accelerates progress.
At the moment, I have completed the B1+ level, now my studies at the B2 level are coming to an end, and I have already signed a contract for the next C1 level (by the way, with a pleasant discount and bonuses, as for a continuing student), since after a year of study at school I see real progress in my abilities, I really feel that my English is already at a confident B2 level, and I can use all my knowledge and skills and enjoy the process of not only learning, but also applying English in my daily life!
There is an opportunity to attend conversation clubs at school, which I strongly recommend doing. Again, I attend classes with Isaac - and what topics, and what amount of materials he sends us for preparation (!!!!) for every conversation club, this is a really high level of English. The knowledge gained here will help you not only with the language, but also push you on the path of self-development (if you are not there yet ;)).
And in conclusion, I would like to point out that your progress is your decision, your motivation, your efforts, your DAILY actions - and everything is in English!
And ULC school will help you make your journey easier, more fun, and more comfortable. The guys really want to help and help ( ! ) their students find the most suitable option for you to finally LEARN this English!

Hello) I started learning English from scratch 3 months ago! I really liked that it is possible to conduct lessons online.. no need to waste time traveling around the city.. I have a very good teacher Olga, she explains the material very clearly (almost "chews" it), adjusts the schedule without problems if suddenly I can't attend a class for some reason, and she is very nice and pleasant to communicate with). Therefore, I do not regret in the least that I chose this school.. I am very happy, and I hope that in a year I will be able to speak English much better))

A year has passed, during this time the level feels much higher, I speak fluently, use idioms with structures that I learned from you, understand by ear and there are no problems with communication.
