One of the best Georgian cuisine we tried through our trip in Georgia! The waiter gave us really good advice on what we should try and he was totally right! You must try their version of eggplants with nuts’ souce - yummy! The rest of the order also was delicious and we were so full and sad that couldn’t try more 💔 Also just to make my mood even brighter the staff member gave me complimentary glass of red wine 🍷 can’t wait to be back!
Loooove this restaurant! The service and food are awesome. Located in the heart of Batumi like the name. My personal recommendations are signature baked eggplant and lobio.
This is a special place. We were in Batumi for 12 days, visited a lot of restaurants, a lot of good ones. But this one exceeded all expectations.
The place is great - old Batumi.
The interior is designed in Georgian style, but not pretentious, very pleasant. There is no loud music, it is cozy and comfortable.
The kitchen is just great. I'm already fed up with Georgian food, but everything here is so delicious that it's impossible to resist. Separately about the service. In Batumi restaurants, the service is very unobtrusive - no one is in a hurry, they forget the details of the order, waiting a long time is the norm. But all this is not about the Heart of Batumi. Friendly, attentive, professional guys work here. In short, if you need a cozy and beautiful place, delicious food, excellent service - it's here.
Indeed, this is the best restaurant in Batumi, everything is very tasty, relatively inexpensive, a trilingual menu, efficient waiters, quick serving of dishes, a change of tablecloth, after each visitor. No wonder, during rush hours, especially in the evening, you need to stand in line to get here, but it's worth it. I rarely put an A, but the "Heart of Batumi" deserves it.
It's a wonderful place. Of all the establishments that we visited in Georgia, this is the top for my husband and me: interior, atmosphere, staff work, dishes. Thanks from tourists from Belarus to the whole team who worked on 09/24/24 A very pleasant impression. Special thanks to Nona for her help in choosing dishes and recommendations. All the dishes are very tasty. I definitely recommend you to visit
The restaurant was recommended by friends who live here.
It's great that we came to it too. We returned 2 times))
Cuisine, service-like friends-delicious, varied, sincere.
Meat is perfectly cooked!
Georgian salad with walnuts is the most delicious in Georgia (we order it always and everywhere in Georgia).
Baked eggplant is love.
This is the best restaurant for all 7 days of rest in Batumi. Cozy, cool, nice halls, interiors. The dishes are gigantic, you will not leave hungry. Homemade wine is a mystery: it didn't seem very good from the first sips, but when the food arrived, I ordered another glass with wine)) everything that we ate twice in this place is fragrant, delicious, amazing. Khachapuri on a spit is obligatory with red wine! Thanks to the creators of the institution, all the best to you!
It's a great place, I've been here 2 times. The interior is without a defiant design, but everything is clean, neat and beautiful, there are tables outside. There is pleasant and soft music in the room. The food is great: I took khachapuri in Adjarian both times - great (there is something to compare it with). Very tasty homemade wine. The staff is very polite and hospitable.
It's an amazing place.
We came back here again. The dishes are all delicious without exception. The staff is friendly and you can safely trust their recommendations.
I recommend trying baked eggplant - it's something with something.
I would like to thank the Elite separately. And thanks to the whole team of employees) we will come back and recommend it) this is really Georgian hospitality)
In my opinion, this is one of the best establishments in Batumi!
A very cozy place and a variety of delicious dishes.
We visited it several times and were upset that we found out about it so late.
The staff is polite, the food is prepared quickly enough. The prices are inexpensive. They understand Russian.
We took borscht, khachapuri, lemonades, eggplant and much more, everything is very tasty. I wish prosperity to this institution.
This is the best place in Batumi. We have been in Georgia for the third year in a row, but we have not eaten tastier food. Great place, very nice waiters and quality food at reasonable prices. A cozy place with unobtrusive music. There's always a queue, so it's better to book in advance. The name is right there, the best place in this city. 🫶
We were here twice when we walked around Batumi. I want to come back. Excellent level of service, clean, tasty, very cozy!!! It is located in a quiet and lovely area of the old town. Thank you very much! We will be back in Batumi and we will definitely come to you again!
Every time we visit Batumi, we definitely visit this cafe ,everything is at the highest level as always. Branded eggplant is a delight as always , ojahuri is very tasty .The staff is polite, attentive, the guys keep the brand.
This place made me believe in decent establishments again. It is a very cozy, atmospheric and pleasant place. The staff is wonderful, everyone is polite and knows their business. Very fast and prompt service. The food is very tasty and inexpensive. We'll definitely be back.
A great place for the whole family! even when there are no empty seats, the administrator is looking for a suitable option, and tells the waiting time for the table, they maintain an unobtrusive conversation with you, it disposes you to wait, you feel caring) the waiters, well, the guys even by the end of the day, are very energetic and obviously try, smile with a sincere smile, sometimes joke and most importantly speak Russian very coolly (this is a rarity considering the young age) and so the service is a 5 plus
Food: very tasty, the portion size is average, more European, I would say (yes, a little un-Georgian) salads +- everything is fine, meat kebabs kebab, surprisingly very good! As a rule, in Georgia, shish kebab is dry meat, but here it is very juicy! I really liked the homemade wine, just 10 out of 10! The food rating is a strong 5!
Prices: acceptable, I can not say that it is expensive, +- average check as everywhere in Batumi
p.s. and if I'm not mistaken, they do not have a mandatory service fee! You decide for yourself whether to leave a tip!
A pleasant atmosphere, cool, served quickly and politely, and most importantly, everything is very tasty that they could not eat, wrapped with them in a container. 3 hot dishes, salad, 2 glasses of wine and tea came out in 100 GEL. Tea is not included in the receipt, we left it ourselves.
We had dinner here today)
We took a summer salad, dolma, two chicken soups and pita bread. It came out to 61 lari, 0% collection, 5 lari were left for tea.
Everything was very tasty and the portions were large, the waiter was very attentive, spoke Russian, the dishes were brought quickly)
Two families with a bunch of children came with us at the same time)) there was a hubbub, a fuss, but the staff quickly and clearly sorted everything out, everyone was seated, although at first I thought that these two groups would fight for the tables 😂
In general, like, we will come again
Update: we wanted something fried late in the evening) went to the poppy, were blown away by the prices, decided: it would be better then in the heart of Batumi) and did not lose!) We ordered Georgian kebab and lamb kebab, French fries and soda. Everything turned out to be 50 (slightly less than in the poppy), and the pleasure is 100%!) this restaurant is definitely love
A wonderful place! Reviews do not lie), from polite and friendly staff to delicious cuisine and quick delivery. I definitely recommend it. I liked the far cozy hall. A great place for dinner!
A chic restaurant, very tasty, ordered khinkali, soups, vegetables, baked eggplant, soups and khachapuri. Pleasant atmosphere, polite staff. I will definitely come again if I am in Batumi.
A pleasant place in old Batumi! Friendly staff, delicious food! Good design, nice music. Large portions of dishes, which is very surprising for a tourist area! In a word, I recommend you to visit! 👍
The first person who informed us about this place was a taxi driver who took us to a hotel located in the Old Town. "Be sure to go there, it's the best restaurant in the area, but I warn you, there's a queue at the entrance from lunch until closing." After reading the reviews and making sure that batono George is not a liar, we went to lunch. It is not difficult to find the Heart of Tbilisi - all paths lead to it. There was no queue in September (the velvet season). We were safely imprisoned. Now for independent observations. Yes! the waiters are polite, smiling, responsive and fluent in Russian. When we hesitated before the first toast, a long, kind and warm toast was given for us professionally. After that, our feast took on the appearance of national gatherings. The music of modern Georgian bands was playing in the hall (not live, from the speaker). The atmosphere is pleasant and homely. But the kitchen is ordinary. I can't say it wasn't delicious. Rather, it was like everywhere else. There is no special feature, highlight, brand difference. When you read rave reviews, you expect something WOW. In short, I got the effect of an inflated expectation. But I recommend the restaurant.
Everything is delicious, fast serving.
It is very cozy and pleasant inside.
The waiter's job is top. He clarified whether we had tried the ordered dishes before and told us in detail about each one!
It is located in the center of the old town.
We went to dinner and returned the next day for lunch! Excellent service and amazing cuisine! You can safely trust the recommendations of the staff. I recommend veal chalardji and baked eggplant with nut sauce! And also peach chacha, you don't get sick at all after)
Very, very tasty! We chose a cafe based on reviews, we were not mistaken..We came here 3 times ..always fast food delivery, courteous service..Well, the dishes themselves deserve only praise..We took new dishes every time..All the national dishes are just perfect..Thank you very much to all the staff!
The cuisine is superbly delicious and the manager is very friendly. A truly Georgian flavor.
UPD: After visiting many establishments in Batumi, I was left with the impression that this is the best of what I tried.
A wonderful family cafe with a homemade atmosphere. Cold appetizer eggplant with nut cream is simply amazing. I also liked dolma.
The room is cozy, the waitresses are attentive and can fully tell you about the entire menu.
Minuses:
1. The atmosphere inside is not Georgian - the locals do not eat here,
2. Portions are small,
3. Satsivi is not tasty,
4. The staff is not as hospitable as possible,
5. I have never tasted such a delicious wine anywhere in Batumi,
6. Prices are above average,
Positive:
1. Clean
It feels like in 2003 in a cafe in the post-Soviet space.
More than 600 reviews for five points - never believe the reviews😉
The food is very tasty, we have visited many restaurants in Batumi, but this institution has sunk into our hearts. In addition to the food, good service, I especially liked the waitress Nino, who found an approach not only to adults, but also to the baby who was with us.
The food is great, the service is top notch. The staff is polite, the atmosphere is welcoming, the dishes are ready to be brought quickly. The prices are also fine, 65 GEL came out for three people. I recommend it, you won't regret it!!
A wonderful cafe, we visited several times and were always satisfied! Wonderful service, delicious cuisine, Georgian music playing! Even if everything is busy, you can wait a little and you will definitely be offered a table!
Hello!
Cafe in Batumi with borscht and Russian-speaking staff! The guys did not have Khinkali at the time of my visit. This is important.
Everything is fine with you! Thanks!
A tiny place , without a restaurant gloss , but with amazingly delicious food in the heart of Batumi 😁🫶
I was very pleased with the staff: I looked in as a guest
- There was not a waiter in front of me, but a friendly host, ready to give recommendations on preferences with a smile and stop when the amount ordered exceeded the opportunity to eat it)
The portions are huge and very tasty!
There is not much space in the establishment and a limited number of tables, so I would recommend throwing the table in advance, I came hungry and without reservation, so I got a tiny table, but my waiter very deftly delivered and cleaned the dishes, so that there was no discomfort!
I will be happy to advise you! Mentally - that 's your definition ! Thanks again!
I recommend everyone to visit this institution!
I was passing through, traveling from Turkey to Russia via Georgia.
While walking through the beautiful city of Batumi, I looked into this place for a snack.
That's what I want to say:
Firstly, the staff is very friendly and helpful.
Secondly, very tasty food and a wide selection
In the third, fast feed
Fourth, cleanliness
I will definitely visit this institution every time I visit the city of Batumi!
I don't quite understand where the rave reviews come from. To begin with, there was a queue at the entrance. It's kind of a plus for the institution - it's popular, but in fact it gives the impression of "promotion" of some places, you know, they pay for promotion and so on. I can't say for sure, I didn't hold a candle. But the quality of the food and wine is below average. So. Homemade wine 1 liter for 30 GEL. It just totally sucks, and literally) I have not drunk anything more vile and chemical since the days of "cask" wine from the time of perestroika somewhere in Anapa, you know where 5-liter cans of swill are stuffed into "barrels" and poured into glasses for local drunks and tourists. This is the wine)
Khachapuri in Adjarian: Well, I don't know.. If sour cheese is to your taste, then an egg broken into it can somehow decorate your impressions) But in general, no, khachapuri on the beach for 15 lari will taste better, and there will be cheese.. Well, it's basically a little sour, and that's good, it decorates the dish. But not as sour as it is here.
Ojahuri: I haven't eaten anything more disharmonious, perhaps. It's like they made meat and potatoes separately, although, people.. well, what can you do with meat and potatoes?? How can this be ruined? But, here we could) The meat is tough, well, in short, you get it.. Just a mixture of potatoes from the oven with poorly cooked meat. Mixed before serving.
Yes, to be fair: the salads were not bad. Georgian and some other kind of branded, gourmet or something, are good.
What else. The entrance courtyard. Local (which is significant) I didn't see it. Again, I don't know, maybe I was unlucky, but there were only tourists around.
In short, IMHO is a highly overrated institution. Rather, promotion based on reviews.
I liked this restaurant. The prices are affordable, the food is very tasty, the portions are large. We took ojahuri with chicken for two with a friend, a portion of 400 grams. The staff is very friendly, the place is atmospheric.
It is confusing that there is not a single negative review. We visited this cafe yesterday and, to be honest, we were not thrilled. It was very pleasant to have the friendly attitude and communication of the waiters in our native language, but that's probably all. We ordered chicken ojahuri, salad (with arugula) and phali. The waiter insistently offered to try the signature dish - eggplant, we agreed. Contrary to her promises, it was TASTELESS, as if everything was baked separately and assembled, the eggplant was bitter.
Regarding ojakhuri, we wanted to try Georgian cuisine, we got something wrong: chicken marinated in soy sauce, something more Asian in taste (I couldn't eat a few pieces, it didn't taste the first freshness), we didn't feel any Georgian spices. There were also potatoes, raw tomatoes, peppers and a large puddle of oil in the dish, it was also clear that everything was fried separately ... and everything tasted too salty.
Honestly, I don't like to leave bad reviews, but here we really focused on an excellent rating and went and got a huge disappointment, spending a lot of money - the price tag is not lower than in other establishments.
And from this the question is, why are there no negative reviews? Or is it just us who are particularly lucky?
A wonderful place, very pleasant, cheerful and helpful staff! Delicious food, reasonable prices! Quite a popular place in old Batumi! I highly recommend it!
It is with great pleasure and gratitude that I write a review.
We were greeted with a smile and escorted off with a present. Everything was very tasty, we couldn't leave without ordering khachapuri with us. Batumi starts with you and your attitude towards its visitors, it is very valuable.
Thank you....
We have been going to this cafe for several years, the staff is just sweet as always, very polite and pleasant, the kitchen is 10 points, but this year I ordered my favorite dish eggplant was not very, I was a little upset, but the rest of the dishes were delicious
A wonderful restaurant, everything is delicious, polite staff, only very few tables, sometimes you need to wait 5-10 minutes, but not critically, I look at photos from Batumi and still remember how cool 2 weeks passed in this town)
The way to the "Heart of Batumi" lies through the stomach!!!!!!
Walking through the city center, hungry, Yandex drove in where to eat, the first thing that came out was "The Heart of Batumi"
Guys, you will not lose!!! Fast delivery, excellent service, courteous staff! All the items that were ordered are VERY TASTY. We were treated by a wonderful man, polite and kind, with a sense of humor - Gia, he advised baked eggplant - it's just amazing!!!!! And a veal kebab that just melted in my mouth . Georgian salad is the tastiest I've ever tasted! Lula in Georgian was also pleasantly surprised. If you get to Gia, then you are lucky.
Very emotional!!!!
Very tasty !!!
Very tasty twice!
Thanks GIA! Thanks to the Heart of Batumi!!!
I recommend this restaurant very much❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️✅
Thank you for a very cozy cafe with excellent cuisine! I recommend you to visit! Cooked dishes, even national cuisine, are designed for a wide range of consumers, so they are moderately spicy, in general everything is as it should be!
The food is average. Khachapuri has Adjarian cheese with sourness, the dough is unusual, like a pastry, but there is a lot of cheese. Trout with Asian vegetable salad is half a fish with fried zucchini, eggplant, tomatoes and feta cheese. Ojahuri is a mystery, the meat was boiled separately (dry), the potatoes were stewed separately and then it was dumped into one bowl, fresh onions and fresh bell peppers were added. It doesn't taste good at all. Homemade wine is also so-so. The waiters are friendly. We were at about 10 in the evening, there was no queue. A large space, not cozy, it feels more like a dining room.
In many ratings, the institution was called top, of course, we decided to visit it.
The first time we didn't get there, there was no place, but the second time we were still able to appreciate this cafe.
In short, the prices are reasonable, the service is pleasant, but in terms of taste, my husband and I turned out to have polar points of view: my husband is delighted, I did not get away from the word at all!
I will not recommend it, but I will also dissuade!
p. my husband ordered veal, borscht and khachapuri on the grill, I tasted chicken lula, salad (with nut sauce in my opinion) and fried suluguni.
Have a wonderful holiday for everyone!
If you have been to Batumi and have not visited the "Heart of Batumi", you have not been to Batumi!!!
An enchanting restaurant with excellent staff, food and atmosphere in the center of the old city.
I visited the restaurant right after the new year 01.01.24. (Happy New Year friends)
The waiter was quick in his work and was always ready to help with orders and recommendations (thanks to Anatoly).
His knowledge of the menu was impressive, and he immediately responded to our needs (Don't forget to thank these people, especially those who work during the holidays)
The quality of the food in the restaurant was excellent. The dishes were fresh, the chefs obviously had a lot of experience and used only the best products. Each dish was prepared with care and presented on plates with taste. We ordered several different dishes.
The main secret of the restaurant is in the magnificent sauce, which is prepared from 16 ingredients (We took baked eggplant with a special sauce, there is in the photo), which Anatoly recommended to us and we did not drive away in the choice.
There was a wonderful serving of borscht , thick, rich , served with bacon, garlic, sour cream and bread. Just love, for those who miss the first courses.
The atmosphere in the restaurant was very pleasant and cozy. The music was quiet and the lighting was gentle, creating a relaxing environment. The waiters were polite and unobtrusive, which added comfort to our experience.
The prices are not high, relative to the quality and relative to other restaurants that we went to.
We were very satisfied, which we recommend to you.
The best restaurant in Batumi! Delicious and varied food, friendly staff. The best kebabs in the city are lula and phali. And the branded honey cake is the best in all of Georgia.
An atmospheric summer house, a chic narrow street that maximally conveys the flavor of Old Batumi. Very tasty homemade wine, great cuisine, great service))
Incredibly tasty, excellent food service, polite staff, sunny, warm atmosphere. The kebab is juicy, fragrant, khachapuri is cooked on a skewer, everything is very fast, high quality! I recommend it 100%! I sincerely thank you for your hospitality! Not far from the center, everything is within walking distance.
A must-visit!
The name justifies this place! And the atmosphere, and the staff.
You can sing individual praises for food! Sooo delicious! This is the only place where I ate a large portion down to the crumbs. 😋
A great restaurant. How delicious everything is. Dolma, skirmish, kharcho, chicken soup (chikhirtma), chkmeruli, baked eggplant, Dorado, salads - here are all the most delicious things that I tried in Batumi. The staff is polite, greeted with a smile.
