I had a room on the 6th floor, a view of the road, and an entrance from the building. I think I was lucky, because it was cold for 2-3 days and the rooms with sea views were blown through, because the entrance to them was from the street There is an air conditioner, it only works in the cold, there was a blanket in the room, thanks to it and pants /jacket I was saved before the weather cleared. Food: This is not a Turkish game, so you shouldn't count on a lot of variety, there is a choice, but every day is the same. The quality of the food is normal, there will be no gastronomic delights, but you can find something to eat. Pasta, eggs, pancakes, chicken, fish + buffet are prepared. The fruits were pineapple, carambola, guava. We ate mango 3 times a day, it was excellent! Ice cream is great too! And the cocktails in the lobby bar are excellent! About the beach, do not be lazy, take a walk to the neighboring hotel if you are not satisfied with the entrance here.But pelicans and cranes are frequent visitors to the pier! We alternated between the hotel beach (photo attached) and in the center of Varadero, the ocean is gorgeous and refreshing everywhere! The animation (evening) is of high quality, thank you, I really need it, because the hotel is far from the center. After reading the reviews, we took everything into account: straws (for cocktails) and teaspoons (for ice cream and sugar in the dining room) and napkins we took with us. Thermos cups too. The ice cream is very tasty - -4-5 the views are freely available - after dinner, the children, having played enough football, ran back to the buffet (restaurant)and they ate it. Yes, there were queues on the eve of the holidays, but already on the third of January there are no queues. And before that, anyone who cared could order service at the sky restaurant -there according to the menu or choose from one of three restaurants (Italian, Cuban and Japanese). The question about baking is that it's not hot, but pancakes or pancakes every morning and various additives to them. Meat is also served for lunch and dinner , both fried and stewed . Everyone is friendly and trying to help. The main disadvantage is why they lowered the star- the beach!!! There is a hotel nearby - their beach is constantly cleaned and cleaned - this one is especially not after a storm and waves. Yes, it was originally built with stones, but it could also have been cleaned by a plus, algae and sand, or fungi from the sun. Those beaches could have been better if they had been used. It is convenient to get to the Varadero center by Hop On Off bus-the stop next to the hotel is 5 dollars and you can drive from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. (some go to the beach on 64 or 52 streets, return for lunch and again to the beach in Varadero). You will be in some shock at first from the food, from the service, from the room. If you are used to relaxing in good network fives in Turkey, for example, so don't expect anything like this here. The hotel is located next to the airport, we took a personal transfer for extra money, but it takes 20 minutes to drive, you can not spend money or take a taxi cheaper. The room is large enough, but there are no towels for hands and feet, and bath towels are always a little damp and smell damp, or maybe there are no duvet covers- you need to ask. They brought it to us on the 3rd day. You decide for yourself when you need to change towels and linen and forgive the rooms service about it. They go to Cuba for endless beaches, sunsets and sunrises. The beach at the hotel is not very good, if you want a beautiful beach from the picture - go to the city, all beaches are municipal, but you need to pay for an umbrella and a sunbed. There is no children's animation in the evening, a mini disco, and a master class in the morning, but the child can be left in the children's room, what he will do there is not clear ..., we did not go to the adult, because we did not adjust in time. Before leaving, signs appeared in Russian, English and Spanish during the day. The most delicious fruits are mangoes. Also pineapples, papaya, passion fruit. The room has a huge bed, clean linen, changed 1 time at my request. There is a work safe, an iron (without steam), an ironing board, floor scales (convenient when packing a suitcase), a capsule coffee maker and even an umbrella. Unexpectedly, there is only 1 piece of soap, 1 small shampoo and gel in the room for two. And also capsules of 1 tea and 1 coffee per day. But the benefit of the bar is around the clock. At first, our relationship with this hotel did not work out... Initially, we were settled in a sooo dirty room, honestly, we were shocked! Dirty floors, bedside tables are all covered in dust, coffee drops, someone's hair on the bed, the refrigerator did not open, the toilet tank was not filled after one flush for some reason... In short, the mood was noticeably spoiled for us, and I took off one star for this (looking ahead to the beach too). But then they still changed our room to a nice and clean one, where everything worked. Thanks for that. The beach is very close to the hotel - this is definitely a plus. But the beach at the hotel is bad: rocky (compared to Varadero itself). We went to the city twice for a nice beach. Pools are also normal. The food is not particularly varied, but we did not stay hungry. Normal coffee is only served at the bar. The hotel also has good animation, which is also a plus. Everything was fine with alcohol, too.
