1. Batumi Bazar is a big local market, mostly fruits and vegetables. 2. Prices are cheaper than in city shops, almost for everything. 3. Half of the territory is open, half inside pavilions. 4. We visited the second floor pavilion, full of fresh products. 5. A local friend guided us, showing the best places and best prices. 6. Churchkhela with nuts – dozens of kinds, really wonderful. 7. We chose nuts, then honey and wine, all natural and tasty. 8. Later we explored the meat, poultry, and cheese section. 9. Sulguni and Imeretian cheese were excellent, rich flavor. 10. This bazar is perfect for authentic Georgian products and atmosphere. 1.

There is a good market, and a 10-15 GEL taxi ride from the city center. There is a good selection of cheeses on the 2nd floor at the market - suluguni, smoked suluguni, goat, Imereti (you will be weighed how much you need, given a taste and evacuated for transportation). Spices for every taste! Churchkhella was taken in different types, delicious. We were in July, so there are plenty of berries and fruits! We do not recommend taking wine. And I highly recommend the rest.

Not to say that everything is cheaper. Yes, it is profitable to buy nuts here and they are of good quality. but! Be sure to wash everything before use! The sellers take nuts, churchkhela and other things with the same hands as money, and you never know what else! To pack cheese on the road - here it means to wrap it in several sachets))) but that's okay, our Imereti didn't spoil during the day on the way. Magnets for GEL 2 and GEL 5. Beautiful clay jugs of 25. A kilogram of different spices came out at 15. They sell a lot of tobacco by weight and ready-made cigarettes from it. Different types of meat, it looks like home-made.
