It is a very beautiful and cozy mosque. Of the small mosques that were visited in Istanbul, I liked this one the most. The tiled interior adds a twist. And there's a special atmosphere here. At first we visited here with a guide, but the next day I wanted to come back here. As a result, I sat for about an hour, just enjoying the peaceful atmosphere that is present here. It is not very convenient to get here - you need to go through the Egyptian bazaar, and the task is not to get lost) But Yandex will always tell you the way) Plus, it's also an opportunity to walk through an authentic bazaar and plunge into its atmosphere.

The Rustem Pasha Mosque is a real treasure of Ottoman decor: its interior fascinates with exquisite Iznik tiles — bright, finely painted patterns in blue and turquoise tones. The interior space seems both cozy and majestic: low, harmonious proportions, fine carvings, calligraphic friezes and the play of light through small windows create an atmosphere of tranquility and contemplation. The craftsmanship is particularly impressive — each tile looks like a carefully thought-out detail of the overall mosaic, and the color transitions and floral motifs give the room a soft, vibrant energy. The mosque is conveniently located in the Eminenyu area next to the spice bazaar, so after a noisy street you go inside and feel the contrast of silence and comfort. I recommend visiting in the morning or late at night, when there is enough light to feel the depth of the colors, and there are not too many visitors — then all the subtleties of the decor are revealed in all its beauty.
