Coffee, reading, work.
I would like to recommend you a wonderful place where you can not only enjoy excellent coffee, but also be in a cozy and inspiring atmosphere for reading and work. This place is a real find for literature lovers.
When you enter this establishment, you are immediately surrounded by an atmosphere of creativity and comfort. Cozy armchairs and tables with wonderful lighting create an ideal place to relax and work. You are welcomed by the friendly staff, always ready to offer to help you, I definitely recommend it!
I usually don't write reviews, but in this case I'm ready to make an exception. The place is amazing in every way.
According to books: there is a large selection of modern Russian literature (Vodolazkin, Pelevin, etc.), as well as classics. There is special literature (psychology, philosophy, business, etc.) and, of course, children's books. Everything is in Russian only.
According to people: all booksellers are very kind, especially Pavel Eduardovich. A pleasant and interesting companion. Any employee will tell you the history of the DRC (by the way, it was opened only a year ago in 2021).
At prices: in comparison with St. Petersburg, books are more expensive than, say, 5-10 percent in online bookstores (for example, Vodolazkin's novel costs 13,000 drams).
For coffee: a passable cappuccino costs 1000 drams.
(The room acts as a "library" (reading only on site), as a mini-cafe and, accordingly, as a bookstore).
I recommend 9.9 "Singer Houses" out of 10.
I'm impressed. You can come and read books for free, just like in the library's reading room, and buy the book you like. The building itself is very cozy. We were also pleased with the polite and accommodating sellers
