If you want to feel the spirit of the old, leisurely railway connection, you are definitely here. Brest-Polessky station is the exact opposite of the noisy and huge Brest-Tsentralny. There is a special, calm and almost homely atmosphere here. A small historical station building, very cozy and clean. The staff is attentive. There are very few people and fuss, which was a big plus for me. Commuter trains leave here, and the trip itself feels like a little trip back in time.
