A pleasant place and a very tasty barbecue, I give 2 stars for this, but otherwise, the waiters' abnegation attitude and what prompted me to leave a review at all, waiting for pasta with salmon for 55 minutes!! I understand that after my order, they forgot to start cooking it, and even after my reminder, they told me that the waiting time was still!! 10 minutes, in fact I waited another 25, terribly unpleasant
The worst service ever. Waiters dont even understand basic russian or english. And the order comes after 1 hour 30 minutes later and the worst is that they dont bring the right food after all.
A normal cafe. Khinkali are small, convenient to hold in your hands. Khinkali 4.5 minced meat is a little dry and a lot of pepper...
Grilled vegetables are excellent 5.0
Homemade lemonade is also great
The menu is convenient - scan the barcode and go to the site where there is a Russian language. Reasonable prices.
In general, the rating of 4.7 is real.... The number of reviews more than 600 in this cafe is proof of that.
Already in Georgia, I'm starting to compare where it tastes better (there is a rating)
A very, very large restaurant, with open terraces, different halls and rooms. We were sitting on the terrace. The place is pleasant, everything is green. The boarding is complete, there is even a small queue. The food was delicious, they ordered soup with hinkalyams, chicken tobacco, quail. The bird is a bit dry, but generally fine. The only big minus is the service. The waiters are just dead, tired by the end of the day, barely talk, barely walk, dissatisfied, serve very poorly and slowly. We've been waiting for the order!!!1.5 hours!!! without exaggeration. We definitely won't come here anymore. No food is worth the long wait. There are plenty of places no worse in Batumi, where everything will be brought quickly, smile and be friendly.
The atmosphere and interior of the restaurant are wonderful! The waiters are friendly, polite, speak Russian and English, if necessary. There is a very diverse menu, there is plenty to choose from. The most delicious khinkali tasted in Batumi. I put 3 stars for exactly 1, but for us it is a very significant case. We do not eat meat, so we always clarify and choose food with mushrooms or cheese. We ordered 10 khinkali with mushrooms, 9 of them are wonderful. And at 10 there was raw minced meat instead of mushrooms… And blood was flowing out of this khinkali (they didn't take a picture, they were shocked). They turned to the hostess, explained the situation, he took the plate and went with it to the kitchen. There was no apology, no discount, nothing. This khinkali was also included in the bill, completely ignoring our complaint. The restaurant has 5 stars, but for the attentiveness of the staff - a solid three.
Of all the Batumi restaurants of traditional cuisine, it is Pirosmani that can be distinguished. Pleasant classic Georgian interior, delicious cuisine, the best Khinkali that I have ever tasted in Batumi and Tbilisi, the staff is attentive and constantly nearby.
Staff. Unfortunately, in my opinion, it becomes strongly Europeanized and loses its uniqueness and sincerity, you talk as if with a sterile personality.
We have been here many times, as there are the most delicious khinkali in the city, the food is amazing, but a HUGE minus is the hostess / manager.
We celebrated the arrival of our parents, knowing that in the evening a lot of people called the restaurant on 08/26 at 13:18 and booked a table for 20:30 in the courtyard. They asked me to repeat the recording and the details several times. As a result, we come to the time, and we are rudely told that your time has already passed and they show my record at 17:30! They refused to help in any way, the man at the entrance was very rude, told us "your time has already passed, leave / go (I didn't hear the last one)"
When I called, I told them THREE TIMES to book for 20:30, and asked them to repeat that the time was at 20:30. In the end, of course, we stayed, because the food here is really delicious, but we are very disappointed with the rudeness of the managers
A MUST-VISIT IN BATUMI!!! As the locals told us, the most delicious khinkali is here. Honestly, they're right. Very pleasant atmosphere, a large selection of dishes, very pleasant staff. In the evening, the roof opens on the patio and you can sit in the open air. The waiter recommended local wine, and also did not deceive. I highly recommend this place to visit. The only THING is that it is very popular and there may not be places. Try to book in advance
Pros: Delicious khinkali, desserts, drinks. There is a hall with live music, a smoking room (outside, but under a roof and greenery). The staff speaks Russian, friendly.
Cons: There are too many people and because of this you have to wait for one dish for 40-50 minutes. The last time we sat there, we waited for our order for more than an hour. As a result, they brought overcooked fish, a rubber kebab, and a cold burger with a hard bun. The khankali were delicious)) In general, we decided that it was not worth it, because almost every restaurant in the district prepares excellent khinkali and at a reasonable price.
I advise the staff of this restaurant to increase the staff, exclude unclaimed dishes from the menu (kebabs, burgers, etc.) so that in the future we do not "blush" for the horror that we received last time. Thank you.
Greetings from Bashkiria! We were in Batumi in September 2024. We were advised this cafe and as it turned out - not in vain! A very pleasant colorful and homely place! The dishes are all very tasty, the portions are large, so order one dish for two, three! (And they bring it with a spoon so that you can impose the required ...). And what kind of khachapuri and khinkali are there ... mmmm, you'll die ...)). The serving of the dishes is also wonderful. I liked the service - smiling, polite. They understand Russian! They don't talk well, but it's not critical. Live music! If you haven't eaten something (and this is no wonder with such portions..) - ask and they will pack it for you. If you are in Batumi, be sure to take a look! (just not the fact that there will be free seats..)))
Great food, very tasty, the atmosphere is wonderful, you can eat both indoors and in a beautiful garden outdoors, there is a canopy from the rain, reasonable prices, the waiters speak Russian, the service is at the highest level, if you are in Batumi, be sure to visit this restaurant
A good restaurant has a very large selection of Georgian and Adjarian dishes
They cook deliciously with a large selection of wines
I was a little surprised when ordering dishes, the order is made on the restaurant's website on the Internet, Then you still need to go to the bar and show this order, either something did not work at that time, or the order system has not yet been worked out to the end
In general, we waited a long time
And so the restaurant is good
Deserved 5 stars. The institution has justified its status as one of the best institutions in Batumi. At the table, you can get acquainted with the menu in Russian by scanning the QR code, it is very convenient.
We took 5 khinkali per person (serving only from 5), a bottle of wine and pancakes for dessert. Khinkali was simply delicious, together with satsebeli sauce, they won my heart. The establishment offers an excellent selection of wines, including dry red Saperavi, with a bright pleasant aroma and rich taste. Pancakes are airy and not greasy, excellent serving and delicious sauces to them.
I also want to praise the work of the head waiter, he is an absolute master of his craft, was respectful and friendly, and left pleasant memories of this place.
Bottom line: The bill cost us 78.1 GEL, pleasant memories are priceless. I advise you to visit at any time.
A great place, most of all I like the presence of cozy places in the courtyard. Delicious national food, I'm just delighted with the idea of associating the name with the artist, as well as from his works everywhere from paintings to paper lining under plates) the only thing that there are long queues in the season.
I was advised as a good place with delicious khinkali. We were met by very nice girls, escorted to a table in the aisle where noisy Georgian children were running around, who basically do not notice anyone or anything that is encouraged by their parents. The whole place was screaming, though live, karaoke music. I was unpleasantly surprised that it is impossible to take less than 5 hinkals, the minimum amount is 5. They are quite tasty, but excessively salty and spicy. It felt like everything was burning in my mouth, so I didn't understand anything. My husband liked it. Dolba are ordinary cabbage rolls, very small (5 microstocks), although Georgians are usually not greedy. Half of the portion was cold, half was hot. It seemed that the cabbage rolls were tactfully placed from another plate. There was a delicious garlic-sour cream sauce. As a result, they did not eat, they left hungry and annoyed. The check came out at 45 GEL.
A great restaurant! A chic kitchen for every taste! The staff is polite and friendly. Everything is at the highest level. The most important thing is that everything here is designed in the best Georgian traditions, from cuisine to live music.
10 years ago, our dad visited this institution several times. The delicious food, courteous staff and cleanliness left an indelible impression and in August 2024 he took us to dinner at this institution. The food is really delicious, the khinkali is incomparable, but after the first visit I was overtaken by stomach pains. Blaming everything on a weak digestive tract, not used to Georgian cuisine, we went there again. This time Pirosmani did not spare anyone. They ran away from there by taxi, although the cafe is within walking distance, a fierce battle began at home for a place on the faience throne.
Everything is delicious, the portions are large. 2 chicken soups, rustic potatoes, kebab, pasta (ostrovato for children), Georgian salad with nuts, lemonade. 123 GEL. For 2 adults and two children. August 2024The feed is long, as in all establishments in Georgia, maybe this is due to the season and the occupancy of the establishments, or the principle of operation itself.
In all the restaurants visited in Batumi, the dishes were delicious, the portions were large, and the attitude was friendly. Just like in the old days. This restaurant is remembered for its interior. By the way, we did not see Pirosmani's paintings in the art museum, only in Tbilisi.
This restaurant is recommended by all taxi drivers and many residents of the city as a restaurant with delicious national cuisine, but unfortunately our company was not surprised by anything except the inflated prices. Waiting for the official for 15 minutes is half the trouble, the dishes had to wait more than an hour. They were served only after the hall administrator was called and they were already cold. Drinks (beer, water) were brought only after 30 minutes - tin. As I understand it, Georgians have forgotten how to make shish kebab. Our expectation was brightened up only by fresh khachapuri in Adjarian and Megrelian. I do not recommend this place. There are quite a few more decent places with delicious Georgian cuisine in the area.
Pros: a fairly extensive menu, reasonable prices. That's it.
Cons: Disregard for the indifferent attitude towards the guests. A very long serving of dishes. At first, they waited 40 minutes for salinity and eggplant rolls. Then we waited for another 30 minutes for beer. But the kebab and fried sulguni were carried for 2 hours..... We were already tired of waiting and refused the hot one. Then we waited for the calculation for 20 minutes.... Such "service" is like bullying. Not caring about the guests is the motto of this institution. Yes, and another important point. The music is very loud and noisy there. It is impossible to talk.
A family holiday was celebrated with the separated children. In general, I did not like it.
Positive:
- nice interior
- reasonable prices
Minus:
- half of the dishes are tasteless (quails and ribs are just like crackers; other meat dishes are tasteless). Salads and pasta are normal. We have been in Batumi for a week, so there is something to compare it with
We were in this restaurant, as recommended by the public. They receive us with care and good-naturedly, but we were led like blind puppies to all corners of the restaurant to find an empty seat, the staff does not know where to put the guests right away. There are a lot of people, fuss, they don't cook too fast, I had to wait. The interior is rough, but there are nice halls where we didn't sit. Khinkali is good, but there is a lot of salt. The rest is delicious, but somehow rustic, as if the recipes did not reach the restaurant food.
The kitchen is not bad. The portions are large. I didn't like the service - the waiters are not too friendly, there are a lot of people, it's a long time to wait for an order. There is no paper menu, if there are problems with the Internet or for some other reason the QR code does not open, then you will not be able to order normally, and the waiters also did not even offer to solve this problem somehow.
Prices are higher than in other places
In general, I wouldn't go a second time
I am very disappointed in this place, as almost everyone I talked to in Batumi recommended this restaurant to me. And so on food:
1. Shish kebab with bones and hoyas as everywhere in Georgia. To be honest, I thought that Georgia, like Armenia, was the birthplace of barbecue, but I was wrong. When a kebab is cooked with bones and cartilage, but it stands like a neck, it's a disaster.
2. I really liked the Caesar salad in the Georgian way with smoked cheese. A decent Caesar sauce, very tasty.
3. Khinkali is excellent, but as everywhere, there is not enough meat.
Service… That is why I gave the restaurant 2 points, since I have never seen such an outrage, for which 10% is also included in the cost of the bill. Service level = complete disrespect to the guest.
1. 30 minutes we waited for the waiter and were able to place an order only by catching her by the hand.
2. The kebab was brought before the salad, and we ordered two types of kebabs and they were brought with a difference of 10 minutes, and we were the 3rd and naturally we ate everything quickly and waited for the next dish.
3. Khinkali probably wouldn't have been brought at all if I hadn't caught the waiter's girlfriend by the hand again.
4. They waited for the bill for 40 minutes and tried to pay it for another 40 minutes, but managed to do it when he already went to the bartender with a demand to accept payment.
In general, this nightmare lasted about 3 hours during which they managed to drink 3 lemonades, eat 12 khinkali, three caesars and two portions of barbecue, almost missed the dolphinarium, as they lost hope of leaving this institution.
At the same time, there is a constant queue at the restaurant and there is nowhere to put people, but there would be more places if the waiters simply did not forget about the guests and about accepting payment. In general, I will not return to this nightmare anymore and I am surprised with the locals who are satisfied with this attitude.
We visited Pirosmani on the recommendation of the staff of the guest house.
Very tasty, friendly staff, live music, Georgian flavor 🤩
Be prepared for the fact that there are a lot of visitors and the order needs to wait a little, BUT it's worth it 👍
We were on Tuesday evening , everything is fine with food in general (without enthusiasm )bottled chacha only
A high chair for a child that was never brought, but they promised and the service takes their score (there are better and tastier establishments in my opinion ) they carry and cook everything for a very long time , I liked the shish kebab in pomegranate , my wife liked the khinkali , but they are 2 Lara pieces , according to her, not the most delicious that they tried here
It's a great restaurant. Very tasty cuisine. The portions are actually very large)) we ordered and were surprised by the size))the staff is excellent, it's good that the waiters know and understand Russian. I recommend it!
A wonderful restaurant with very, very tasty food. The service is at the highest level. The staff is very attentive, they will tell you everything according to your preferences. I recommend it to everyone to visit.👍👍
Great place) the food is delicious, the service is excellent, live music, good atmosphere, food is brought relatively quickly. I advise you to visit, although there are always a lot of people here)
A very cozy atmospheric place with live music!!! If you want to feel the Georgian vibe, then this is the place!!! We tried khinkali for the first time here and it's just a Delight!!! Be sure to visit everyone! 🥰
I have heard a lot about this restaurant, almost all experts recommend it to visit, as an almost perfect combination of price and quality. And so, on my second visit to Batumi, I finally visited this place. On a weekday, there were about 70 percent of visitors to the square during absolutely non-seasonal time. A very good varied menu, reasonable prices. The service is fast and good. The food is very high quality, but not to say that it is outright outstanding. But, it's very good. I read contradictory reviews about Khinkali, but everything was fine with them. As in all more or less good cafes and restaurants, bottled wine is very expensive, but there was no local draft, so they drank beer. Bottom line: I recommend it to everyone, everyone will find what they need.
It pains me to give the most beloved restaurant in Batumi one star! I always bombed those who scold the service in Batumi! And then I got there myself. We usually spend an off-season vacation in Batumi. I arrived yesterday for work in the season and oh, horror! I came to the restaurant, I wanted to have dinner! They put me in the hallway, because I was alone. Although I wanted to sit down on the street, I was kicked by people passing by all the time. The salad was brought, unfortunately they forgot to cut it, chopped it up like cattle in pieces, fortunately they gave a table knife. I finished it myself. Khinkali waited 50 minutes. My conclusion is that I strongly advise you not to visit the restaurant during the season, the khinkali were too salty!
A wonderful place and very attentive staff! Delicious cuisine and beautiful serving of dishes! This is our first vacation in Georgia and we really liked this place! We recommend you to visit!❤️🥰
The best restaurant in Batumi: magnificent khinkali, khachapuri, perfectly cooked grilled fish, we ate there all 5 days that we were on vacation in Batumi. We went to other restaurants, ordered food to the hotel, not to compare with the food in Pirosmani. The service is excellent, everyone is attentive and helpful! They cook quickly. There is a lovely patio, if you are with children, it is a salvation)
I thought for a long time how many stars to put in this institution, I stopped at two. And those for the appearance of the restaurant and the waiters.
Firstly, the service is sadder than in a cheap cafe. We didn't say hello, we just accepted the order and thank you for that. They didn't even tell me how to translate the menu into another language, so I had to search for this button through a translator. And all this could be forgiven if there was delicious food. But even here, alas.
Ojahuri was the worst I've ever tasted. Meat is nothing, but potatoes… how could you spoil the potatoes? They managed to 😂 the potatoes were so badly fried and over-dried that they did not pierce with a fork. It was just a huge fat chip. In general, I won't risk going there a second time. And I sincerely do not understand why the institution has 5 stars…
It was delicious
A varied national menu
Live music
I would really like such well-known establishments to switch to high-quality dishes, yes, the plates here were beautiful, not just a boring white plate with gray scratches, but cutlery ... well, do not skimp, how much it will be pleasant for visitors to eat dishes from high-quality cutlery, I hope this is the next step in the development of the service.
Yes, it sounds boring, but only when you share the subtleties, nuances, there is an opportunity for growth
A great place, nice prices, khinkali tastes better than they have, I have not tried it, very tasty draft wine, I will have to walk from the sea, but it's worth it, this is the first place where I want to go back to eat.
We decided to visit this place in Batumi, because we really enjoyed being at Pirasmani in Tbilisi. But they were unpleasantly surprised. Firstly, after ordering chacha 2 for 50g, they brought 2 for 35 (why do I say so confidently - the same glasses at home, 40 fits with a slide), to the question "this is 50g", they said "yes", I said "no", they answered "well, I don't know". The order was made, and we decided to stay, but in vain... We ordered dolma, khinkali and ojahuri with pork. Dolma is very tasty, but unfortunately it's the only one. Khinkali is normal, but very spicy, we ate a lot of them in different places, but this is the first time they are so spicy, but ojahuri is just a failure. The potatoes look like they were cooked yesterday, and today they are warmed up, pork does not look like pork at all, and the pieces look like some kind of trimmings, some veins and cartilage.
I put two stars for dolma and tolerable khinkali.
I don't know, maybe it was just bad luck, but the fact is the fact.
Everything is delicious, the wait is insanely long, we were here twice, the first time in the evening at full landing we waited for dishes for about 1.5 hours, the second time we came in the afternoon when the restaurant was half full, we just waited for lemonade in a bottle for 30 minutes, the rest of the dishes waited for about an hour. You'd rather die of hunger and thirst than get those miserable bottles of Coca-Cola.
Everything is cool in the kitchen, the barbecue is super, the khinkali is delicious, everything is diverse
Ps the lemonade was never brought, well, at least it was removed from the receipt at the request, the waiter did not even apologize
The food is delicious, the choice is great, the prices are lower than in Sochi)
The establishment itself has a veranda, a large hall and various secluded spaces.
Well-known, one might say famous. A lot of things have been written on the Internet, but I would like to add that expectations and reality are very much the same. Cool interior, different areas, always packed, great kitchen. And the main thing is the feeling of Georgian hospitality and cordiality in Pirosmani.
We visited 1 time, there was no good place in a large restaurant, we sat on the veranda in the heat next to noisy fans. There were questions about the khinkals, probably not the most delicious in Georgia, at least of those that we managed to try. The service was a bit slow (to serve bread at the end of the meal is.... M-yes)
The restaurant is large, the atmosphere is pleasant, the food is good, everything is delicious and fresh. It's time to come back here again. In general, I recommend visiting!
A very good restaurant!!!, the prices correspond to the dishes) the quality and service are at the highest level, very cozy, and very clean restrooms!) Khinkali is super!!
We visited this place on the recommendation of local friends, I think it was a long time ago and not in the hot season. We have been waiting for an order for a very long time. Khinkali is normal . But the salad was chopped into large chunks of flaccid vegetables. Khachapuri is royally prepared not at all from raw materials for kings, the cheese smelled like not from clean cows, it usually smells of milk and cream.I would draw the attention of the chef of the establishment to the quality of the purchase of raw materials. We drew the manager's attention to these points, the manager, not like a real owner of a Georgian restaurant, did not react, but simply began to waste my time and his own to prove something. Well, if people meet here with chopped salad and such a quality of food, then you can just wish "prosperity".everything was included in the bill and even 10% for the service, an hour-long wait for cooking.
