The Nakkash Cistern is located beneath the carpet store of the same name. Admission is free. If you're traveling by public transportation, the easiest way is to get to the Sultanahmet T1 tram station. To get to the cistern after exiting the tram, walk toward the Blue Mosque, through the former Hippodrome, and after the Obelisk of Constantine, take the street that curves slightly to the left. You can use online maps to find the Nakkash store.
