The current El Mustafa Mosque is a landmark of Sharm el-Sheikh, located far from tourist centers, and is included in a sightseeing tour from a tour operator. You can go inside, observing the dress code, scarves and aprons are rented at the entrance.

We were here with a small group tour. The El Mustafa Mosque was built relatively recently, in 2006. It is located in the northern part of Sharm el Sheikh, away from the main tourist streets. The mosque got its name in honor of the Prophet El Mustafa.

It's a beautiful old-fashioned building (after all, the mosque was built relatively recently). We were on a sightseeing tour. It's a shame that you couldn't see how everything works inside. Therefore, it was not possible to feel the aura of this place. There was no feeling that you were in some holy place. This is the first time I've seen closed doors in a mosque. If you walk around the mosque, then in some places you feel some kind of desolation and neglect.
