We are resting now in the Middle, we live in the 2nd building, a room with a balcony, sea view, this is the best place! The room is renovated, the bathroom is excellent: shower, hairdryer, electric heated towel rail. The staff is friendly, the food is excellent! A lot of vegetables, fruits, only the second course is served, the rest is a buffet: several salads, casseroles, etc. In general, everything is fine! The territory is fabulous, a wonderful gardener, takes very good care of the plants. I don't understand how you can write negative reviews. We are only here now (we have arrived for the 4th time now)

I had a rest from 27.06 to 11.07. I have been coming to the Middle for 11 years in a row. I like the location of the 2 buildings - almost on the beach, a loggia in the room with a sea view,
a green well-groomed territory. The staff is very friendly and friendly. The rooms are newly renovated. Special thanks to the canteen staff! Hardworking, very responsive people, chef Umida is a clever hostess! Thanks to her, the complex food is varied, includes elements of a buffet! I went this year and hoped that this team of chefs and waiters would be in the dining room again!
The administration should update the bed linen and blankets!!! Good luck!

We rested at the Midel-Gagra recreation center in October 24, we took a standard room in the second building with a balcony (204). We went to the sea and were happy. We fell asleep and woke up to the sound of the sea. The building stands right on the beach, it is a fantastic sight of sunset, sea, air, side view of the mountains. Class. The room has a good, fresh renovation, everything you need is there, the bathroom is equipped with a shower cabin, nothing flows anywhere, everything works stably. The building is clean, quiet, and you can sit on sofas in the lobby. The territory is green with alleys and benches, clean, clean. There is a teahouse nearby, you can sit in the evening, wine, music, barbecue, fish on coals and all sorts of Abkhazian delicacies, but we also had enough of the dining room to have fun.
The holiday home offers 3 meals a day with elements of a buffet, we really liked everything. The food is delicious at home. A well-chosen menu. And fish and meat and chicken and salads, fruits, wine. The waiters are responsive and sincere people. Thanks to them and the chefs very much, just well done. No one had any intestinal diseases, poisoning, etc.
We will definitely come next year. Thanks to all the staff for their responsiveness, hospitality and cordiality. Everything was great! We needed the sea and the good weather, we got it, plus a homely and delicious atmosphere and food.
Who is interested in Wi-Fi is not always stable, but I found a place on the balcony and watched a movie in the evenings. The beach is wide, clean, there were enough umbrellas and sun beds for everyone, the entrance to the sea is convenient.

I rested from 06/24/2024 in the second building, standard room. Although the room is old-fashioned, it is clean enough, there is a small refrigerator and a TV. The balcony is quite spacious. The room has very good sound insulation, but because of this, the Wi-Fi in the room does not work well. It works great on the street and on the beach. There is no hair dryer in the room, nor is there a kettle. There are no hygiene items either. There are 3 channels, one of which is Abkhazian.
The food is so-so......It's not very tasty. According to the type of sanatorium of the USSR. There are 2 soups and salads to choose from. Hot food is brought without asking. Then I stopped going to the dining room at the hotel and went to the local cafe.
I gave such a high rating for this holiday home for a clean beach within walking distance from the hotel, a quiet, peaceful environment and friendly staff.

I am in the Middle of Gagra at the moment. The standard superior room is on the third floor in the main building, the view from the balcony is gorgeous, but you can't sit, it's very noisy (the road), the beach is pebbly, sun loungers are already starting to be collected at 18:00, after dinner (it's until 19:00) there are no umbrellas or sun loungers, it's very uncomfortable, only the heat lets go a little, I want to sit by the sea and swim. The territory is beautiful, well-maintained, there are many benches in the shade. But the sewage system flowing along the beach directly into the sea at the second building crosses everything out. The room is dirty, I begged for towels to be replaced on the sixth day, they brought, the linen was not changed, everything was dusty on the balcony when checking in, the table was generally stained, the chair was broken, but we were not there, it was hot, all the time with air conditioning, but even with the door closed, you can hear the noise of the road, the maid is alone, today She got sick. Maybe we were unlucky? There are no complaints about nutrition, it is delicious, balanced. Very polite waiters (Uzbeks) The price for the room is decent, if everything was done as described on the website, I would put five stars.

We rested in the Middle from 05/22/24 for 9 days. I really liked it, the weather was lucky, it was always sunny, the sea was calm, of course, it was cool, later it was warmer. They were well fed, they were not hungry, fruits were only apples, maybe May... Therefore. The dining room is always clean, large, few people. We ate and the beach is across the street. We lived in the main building, cars, motorcycles under the windows, but I went out on the balcony-the nature is super, you can see the sea, eucalyptus trees, palm trees and music from the Teahouse!!! Just a thrill!!! Can't you hear cars at night if you're sleeping?!! Sun beds are free, shops are nearby, in general we always liked it. You can take a minibus on the tour yourself (Pitsunda, New Athos, but at least where) we liked everything, I would still go there. In Short, I Recommend It!!!!!

We had a rest in the "Midel-Gagra" in August of this year. The room is standard, in the 1st building, it is impossible to sleep at night, as the windows overlook the road and cars drive in an endless stream. If you close the windows, the air conditioner starts to leak after a while. The room was cleaned 10 days after arrival, the linen was changed 10 days later, explaining that there were no employees in the laundry. The garbage was picked up every day or every other day, the shower curtain was covered in black mold. The maid was alone, on all floors, stairs, etc. The food is primitive, the canteen workers tried their best to cook a variety of dishes from the same products every day. Stewed zucchini every day in the morning, at lunch and in the evening. The second (hot) dish is served in portions, without the possibility of choice. The location on the "Swedish line" is devoid of any logic at all. To take the appliances, you need to squeeze between the queue standing for porridge, soup, etc. The interior of the building looks like an "inn". There were plenty of sun beds and umbrellas on the beach for everyone. However, beach workers sometimes threw their towels on the sun beds, allegedly, vacationers occupied them early in the morning, and then sold them to those who wished from the "street". At 18 o'clock, everything was collected, so after dinner, only on your towel. There are no beach towels. There are two cafes on the territory, until 12 at night. The repertoire is the same, very loudly, the vacationers complained, but it's useless. Before you go to this place, think a hundred times.. The only thing that cannot be spoiled is the sea and the mountains!!! It is very good that they do not depend on a person!!!

We rested from 06/27/2024 to 08/05/2024. The second building has a sea view with a balcony. For the first time in Abkhazia. There are no complaints about the beach, food (the staff is polite), and the surrounding area. Before departure, after an evening walk, returning to the room, we found that our belongings were scattered!!! An egregious incident occurred: our documents and bank cards, cash, phone and some personal belongings were stolen in the room itself, which was locked. We had the key. The door was closed. It was a complete shock.But the most IMPORTANT THING IS that the hotel administration did NOT HELP us in any way!!! I just called the police. We were left without funds. No connection. Without power. Without a "roof over your head."The next day there was a flight! We could not provide funds even if relatives or friends from Russia wanted to make a transfer to a local bank account. So that we have at least some money. There was a trip to Sukhum, a distance of about 80 km in one direction, to the Consulate of the Russian Federation in Abkhazia to receive documents for crossing the border.No one has really told the Consulate what documents and information are needed. The boarding house did not transmit any information about us to the Russian Consulate. We didn't have time to catch the plane. We got to the border on our own. There were no apologies, compensations, assistance, or participation from the administration. On the contrary, they said that documents should be carried with you!!! That's how in a moment we were left without anything! It was an unforgettable vacation at the Midel-Gagra boarding house.

Sea, beach, beautiful nature!It would be great if it was all kept clean. Sewage drains directly into the sea, it's a pity the video didn't load! They say that they have known about this problem since November 23, and at the same time they do nothing, but they take money from vacationers regularly!!!Poisoning in every second! There is no doctor or nurse, everything in the pharmacy is only for cash, and everywhere only for cash and without change!!! Bed linen and towels are changed every 6 days (as the maid said). If you want to work remotely, you won't be able to do it here, Wi-Fi is so-so! If you want to relax comfortably, look for another place! I left one star only for the chefs!

We had a vacation with my husband at the end of June. We were accommodated in the building where the dining room is. The room has a balcony, the view from the balcony is gorgeous. I can hear the sea. But all this is overshadowed by the road under the windows. The noise from cars for days. It's good that the room has air conditioning, otherwise no rest.
The room has a TV, a refrigerator, two old beds, the same old bedside tables. There is one kettle per floor, there is no hairdryer, 4 towels.
The shower is creepy, you stand wrapped in a damp, dirty curtain that is not washed or changed. The sink is dirty, with remnants of the previous tenants' stay. The toilet is dirty and broken.
It is a great wish to at least wash and clean everything before checking in.
The dining room is clean, the food is good.
In 9 days, bed linen and towels were changed once, and dirt was scattered on the floor to the sides. The staff at the guesthouse is friendly.
Nature has overshadowed all the bad sides of recreation. She gave 5 stars for the hospitality, good beach and food.

I had a vacation with my son in August, completed a tour in one day and did not regret the chosen place. Three buildings, we lived in the third one less than 100 meters from the sea, the room came across with an old wardrobe, but the bathroom was completely renovated. It all depends on your wallet, you can live 10 meters from the sea in a new building. Meals are served three times a day, everything is homemade, very tasty, varied. My son even asked if our grandmother was cooking in the kitchen, how delicious everything was. Red wine was served for dinner. We had a rest in June 2024. 4 adults - 2 Rooms. The rooms were in the main building (improved) for the road.
1. At night, the room is really noisy from the road, if you do not close the balcony, but we closed and turned on the air conditioner, so it was comfortable. There are questions about the shower / toilet and cleaning, but not critical, so I will not write in detail. But a beautiful view of the sea, it's nice to sit on the balcony.
2. Very tasty food in the dining room. It was really a surprise) When they bought a ticket, no one even counted on eating in the dining room. And here we were surprised - it was diverse and very tasty. Special thanks to the canteen staff! You can see how hard they are trying!
3. The beach is across the street. Two minutes from the main building. Free sun beds and umbrellas were always available. There is enough space for everyone.

Overall, we liked everything.
The atmosphere is kind, good, pleasant staff - this is important. And you can close your eyes to some of the disadvantages.

The hotel was built in 1962. There are a lot of pensioners from 75+. The beach is across the street, the traffic is terrible. The food is normal, in the morning porridge, eggs, cheese, sausage is very decent. Lunch soup to choose from two. Dinner is brought by the waiters, there is no choice. I don't really like it!

The iron is on the floor . The balcony is large, where there is a table and two chairs. You can take a good wine in the evening and just sit and listen to music from the Teahouse from 18.30 to 24.00 arrange dancing) without going outside. The food was good , we had enough , water and everything that our hearts desire is sold in a store in 20m . Attention! It is strictly FORBIDDEN to buy a ticket to this hotel for the following reasons:
1. Complete unsanitary conditions, in the room for 10 days of vacation, the maid did not clean once, there was no change of bed linen and towels.
2. One can only dream about the treatment of agricultural products with sanitary and hygienic means.
3. Apart from a bar of soap, there was nothing else in the bathroom, no toothpaste, no brushes.
4. The buffet is a separate story. More disgusting cooking of any kind, it was possible to eat only the first course, which was served both for lunch and dinner. The second courses were even more disgusting. Completely tasteless.
5. The cook was from among the residents of Uzbekistan, who cooked porridge for pigs in her village. The administration of this "house of dristuns" has no idea about the availability of a sanitary book. What she comes to work in, she works in and leaves the dining room in the same clothes. He goes out into the hall to sit, although, by all the rules, it is strictly forbidden! I'm not talking about her overalls, and it's clear that she's not there. There is no sunflower oil or wine vinegar on the tables to somehow give a taste to this grub. At the table, during conversations, it turned out that almost everyone had vomiting and severe diarrhea, fortunately there was plenty of toilet paper, and in order not to carry it to the rooms, it was stacked, just folded on a chair in the hall. Shit on your health, which is what everyone did. All of them have intestinal viral intoxication.
6. There are no toilets on the beach, such as m/ w, so everyone goes to sea, they will sail, if they have time, away to the buoys and there they do everything. Therefore, swimming in the clear blue sea, you come across feces floating nearby. Urban sewage is discharged into the sea in an open way, because there are no sewage treatment plants. We have never had a worse vacation in 10 days.
Plus - the sea and a walking park area, within walking distance.
From the holiday home to the beach area, we crossed with horror, under the screeching brakes. If you stand on a zebra, they just don't notice you and try to make flippers out of your legs. The horror!
I will never set foot in this holiday home again!!! Think 1000 times whether it is worth risking your health, undermining and for a long time, the work of your digestive system.

An awesome holiday home, a great place, a cool clean large pebble beach, where every day a person cleans up the garbage (kind, friendly, open, kind) and he also lays out sun beds and umbrellas. I lived in the 1st building, excellent sea view, proximity, cleanliness, comfort. They feed in the dining room (the choice is small), but normal, I was never hungry (they give wine 2 times a week). In short, only positive emotions remained. Recommend.

The beach is across the street, sun beds and umbrellas are free. The water in the sea is the purest! The food is normal, tasty, without frills, the dishes are clean, the guys who work in the dining room are prompt and attentive. The receptionist girls are friendly. There is a guard at the entrance.

The nature is amazing and there is just an arboretum on the territory of the boarding house. And we were lucky with the weather, it was calm and sunny for all nine days. But the whole repertoire of beach music has been studied and memorized))) What I didn't like was the three meals a day. It's terrible. How you can cook so tasteless is not clear. Initially, the proposed room is not bad, renovated and new furniture, but we were unlucky, the air conditioner flowed and we were moved to another room, repairs apparently have not been done in it since the opening of the holiday home, beds, as in hospitals of the USSR, curbstones with unclosed doors, the TV did not show, there was only sound, a house attendant I just shrugged my shoulders, you need to hold the shower in your hands, and not install it on the wall. The food has become not tasty, pasta is always in the diet, blue in color. The guests were constantly ill (intestinal disorder, vomiting). The beach and the sea remained unchanged, it is magnificent, incomparable, beautiful, warm, clean, only for the sake of it they endured everything that was described above!

We rested in the middle of the second building in July. We took a triple euro number - there are only four of them in the case, as far as I understood. The room is great. Furniture, plumbing, curtains - everything is new. The room itself is spacious. The bathroom is compact, everything is clean. The linen is clean, the towels are too. The view from the balcony is simply gorgeous - there is only the sea at 180 degrees. Super! The music from the teahouse is almost inaudible. As for the food, we really liked everything. The food was delicious and varied enough. Normal canteen food. But I didn't like the food in the teahouse. But we only went there a couple of times. Beach chairs and umbrellas are free of charge. There are large umbrellas - they are dug in a little distance from the coastline, or you can take as many small ones as you want and put them wherever you want. The sea is clean, the beach is clean, garbage is regularly cleaned. We will be happy to go there again!

A good boarding house, the food is interesting. The lunch is excellent, the cook puts his soul into the dish that they bring. The rest is like Grandma's in the village. Powdered coffee..it reminded me of the food at the Pitsunda boarding house. Regarding parking the car on the territory, the reception said nothing, but the man from the administration clearly said it was possible and showed where to put it. The feeling of stagnant air, the smell of fungus in the corridor on the second floor, the main building is a fly in the ointment for rest. It's not far to the sea.

So they brought Tom Yang to my husband without champignons and noodles, the plates were taken away from him and the missing ingredients were reported. We waited for tea to be brewed in the end like urine, we put very little tea leaves. I began to eat pilaf, I found a long hair there, I did not say anything, otherwise they would say they came to criticize the food.
So I wish them to cook what they really get is lagman, pilaf, manti. But exclude dishes that you don't know from the menu. And a request to the waiters, study the menu so that you don't run to the chefs and ask.

We were moved here from Apsara after a natural cataclysm (flood) and I would not even call our room a super housekeeper.
Our building was across the street from the main one. As we learned, this is the former building of the Literary Fund.
Alas, there are more minuses than pluses, so I'll start with the good ones.
Of the advantages:
+ We had a balcony overlooking the sea, we fell asleep to the sound of the waves
+ In the dining room (in the main building), the food is delicious and homemade. At lunch and dinner, you take soup or something else at will according to the buffet system, and the waiters bring the second one to you
+ The hotel is located right on the beach and has its own access to the beach
+ Free sun beds and umbrellas (you are given bracelets with which you can eat in the dining room and take sun beds with umbrellas)
+ There is a good Teahouse on the territory, which I wrote a review about earlier
Alas, the advantages end there. Moving on to the cons:
- Our whole building stank of mothballs, at first it was almost impossible to breathe, then we got used to it
- Terrible dampness everywhere. In the lobby, in the corridors, in the rooms.
- There were terrible problems with the Internet, it was turned off and on. Even when he was working, he was working poorly. Sending an SMS via whatsapp was already an achievement
- The rooms are almost not cleaned. During the two weeks of rest there, they cleaned our place only once.
- The rooms are small, it is almost impossible to turn around. Our room was at least somewhere else, but in the neighboring ones (without a balcony) it was impossible to sit down without hitting something (the rooms are so small)
- There is no bathtub as such. There is a hose and a drain. You will wash without partitions (although for some this is a plus)
- There are more animals than minuses in this review. You can say, "This is a warm country, there are animals everywhere!" but no. We were vacationing in another hotel and there were almost no insects there, right there, they wouldn't let us pass.
- The rooms themselves were dirty. Dust, dirt. The sheets were dirty, the curtains were full of holes. The clothesline left rusty stains on the clothes.
- The furniture is old and shaky
In general, we didn't really like it and purposefully we wouldn't have gone there.
