Museo Maritime in Barcelona, located in a former shipyard building, invites everyone interested in the maritime theme, ships and rigging, filibusters of all stripes and "Spanish heritage" to come here. 😁 In addition to many smaller replicas of sailing and steam vessels of various classes, there is a life-size replica of the galley "Real" (!), on which 260 rowers and 400 soldiers served simultaneously! During one of the battles, an Ottoman galley pierced the Ship through to the fourth bench! The Spaniards won that battle and captured 150,000 gold coins. You can also see details of the ship's equipment and a mock-up of the bow, which is worth climbing to feel the real rocking in the open sea. 😅 Also noteworthy is the layout of the passenger liner Seville, the video of the inner life on the ship, and the dresses of wealthy travelers. In general, neither children nor women are bored in the museum. And men will always find a reason to mess around. 😂😂😂

This is the first time I have visited a museum of this specialization. And I really liked the main attraction of the Maritime Museum, the scientific reconstruction of the historic royal galley in full size, with an elegant decoration of the exterior decorations. The museum is interactive and there are many monitors, they turn on from the motion sensor and tell about the exhibits (but only in Spanish or Catalan). The three- and four-meter models of different sailboats are amazing. Excellent detail on smaller models as well. There is also a small hall on the second floor dedicated to the modern regatta. I spent about four hours in this museum and am incredibly happy about it.

The museum was very interesting. Everything was described in great detail. It featured mock-ups of the ships, as well as a full-size galley. The museum was also a shipyard in the past.
