I gave birth on 04/23/25, the first birth, after reading everything, I was afraid of obstetric aggression, and therefore I wanted to conclude a contract for paid childbirth. Starting from the reception desk, we explained everything about the contract in detail over the phone. However, everything turned out differently and the birth was premature and, accordingly, free. But I was delighted! In the maternity ward, everyone, from the head to the nurses, was polite and empathetic, someone came into the room every thirty minutes, asked how to help, told how to breathe better, offered a fitball, etc.The birth went as well as possible in my situation. The ward was free, but it was new, clean and cozy. There was a toilet and a shower in every ward.Cleaning is daily. I also had a chance to visit the child in the intensive care unit and then lie down in the pediatric ward. Everything was also at the highest level, the doctors explained everything, and the nurses helped. In general, I was left with the best impressions of the hospital and childbirth!

I was lucky enough to get into a free double room first, where it was convenient. The only thing is the smell from the washbasin, which did not go away even after the work of the san.technician, who was called very quickly, probably it's the whole riser, the smell from there. It was even better in a single paid ward, there was nothing to complain about, it was very convenient!!! The only thing was that the family home was overloaded. The paid ward was vacated only by the fourth day of my stay at the maternity hospital. We were in the delivery room together, in the delivery room too. They also took a paid room after giving birth. We spent 1 day with my husband, and then only with the child. Among the disadvantages: 1 prenatal VIP and general generic. If someone had started giving birth earlier, then they put you in the general prenatal room without a husband, and if someone gives birth in the delivery room, they don't let your husband in either. That's why it's a minus star. If you want a partner birth: be sure to choose a specific doctor, consult with your husband at a gynecologist, psychologist, neonatologist at the maternity hospital, and pay for a covid smear. We were lucky, we were together everywhere. But it would be sad to say the least if someone with VIP care started giving birth before us. Because we already treat this maternity home by registration, we didn't need an individual doctor, but we took him only because it was a condition for a partner birth. In general, keep this in mind if you want to choose this kind of home for partner births.

Obstetric departments. A week before the PD, I was sent to the pathology department, the attending physician was Kristina Anatolyevna Chasnaya. A kind, sensitive, caring specialist. Having their own medical history and a scar on the uterus, the doctors waited with me for the onset of natural childbirth until 41 weeks, but they did not happen, and at 41h 1d I was operated on by Short Antonina Nikolaevna. Sincere thanks to the doctor, because lying on the operating table, I did not think to thank her for the birth of my healthy daughter. Neat suture, painless postoperative period. Thanks! I would also like to mention Anastasia Anatolyevna Butar, an anesthesiologist and intensive care specialist, who was my best friend from the moment of the preoperative consultation to the intensive care unit, who supported, calmed and calmly wiped my vomit (sorry for the details), and also recorded the most intimate moment. And at the moment when our water was running out, the anesthesiologist on duty brought supplies from our belongings outside the intensive care unit. Unfortunately, I didn't remember her last name, but the girl reflects all the traits of a qualified specialist and a good person. Department of newborns. Another doctor who left his mark on my memory is the head of the neonatology department, Ksenia Alexandrovna Homolko. She examined our kids, answered every question, explained and showed us how and what to do. She gave us as much time and attention as we needed to eliminate all questions. I also did not mention the amazing managers who monitored my condition - Natalia Skobeleva, Svetlana Selitskaya. During the 2.5 weeks of my stay at the KRDMO, not a single specialist left any negative emotions. Doctors, nurses, nurses - all amazing people! And, of course, the food, which is tastier than I can only imagine. This was my third time being hospitalized at the KRDMO and it left only the most pleasant and positive memories. I rarely meet such humane doctors as in the KRDMO, but when I encounter them, I have great confidence in the present and future of medicine in our country. The food is generally edible, but it is interesting that in the corridor there is a memo about GW, in which it is not recommended to eat dried fruits at first, while oatmeal with dried apricots for breakfast. I have nothing against dried fruits and generally do not support dietary restrictions, but it turns out they contradict themselves. The birth itself: I regretted that I came to the hospital with an opening of ~ 4 cm, it was too early. Belarusian medicine lacks modern approaches, for some reason everyone gets enemas and amniotomy (maybe because they gave birth at night and the staff wanted to finish quickly?), they are not allowed to drink during labor, only one sip (seriously?), CTG cannot be done in a comfortable position, only lying down (and this is minutes 40 with contractions). On the positive side: during my entire stay in the maternity ward, everyone supported me, told me what to do, did not put pressure on my stomach (I was afraid of this according to reviews from other maternity hospitals), there was no psychological pressure either, the staff was interested in natural childbirth, so they try to help as much as possible in this regard and not bring it to an emergency COP. I would like to highlight and thank the department for newborns separately: the attitude towards children is excellent. Pediatricians, neonatologists, etc., the staff of the department are very attentive, adequate, explain all examinations and recommendations (not outdated, by the way, as far as I can assess, without having a medical education).

About the maternity hospital itself: I was in the pathology department, clean, tidy, my room was for 2 people and free(!), there were also rooms for 2,3, 5 people. The repair is good, although the shower in the hallway is 2 pcs (not very good condition). Food-see the photo. It's quite passable and the porridge is delicious. Many thanks to Associate Professor Larisa Mikhailovna Nebyshynets, she is a smart girl! And to Obukhovich Andrey Viktorovich, who performed an emergency caesarean on me! The seam is beautiful, neat and everything was fine with the baby. And the whole team that delivered me: the anesthesiologists and everyone. The birth was at 04:00 and they all coped. The doctor prescribed Uskov: competent and cheerful! In general, many thanks to the doctors and all my warmth for the beautiful daughter!! By the way, there was a male doctor on duty there at the weekend, who speaks Belarusian, and his phrase when he went on his rounds in the ward will always remain with me. He comes in and asks :- Well, have you got any good? Are you chuyatse yak varukhayutsa vyshy nemaulyatki? " this phrase made us feel good all weekend and we were looking forward to Monday in order to hear what would happen next. It's Monday and I'm on my rounds.The department told me that I was going to give birth today. (it's a pity that I didn't try to remember the names of the doctors I ran into there.) Said and done, she gave birth on the same day without much difficulty. She was rude and spoke incorrectly (I won't repeat it) and after talking to her, everything didn't seem so rosy to me there, but she said to go home tomorrow. Waiting at home overshadowed all the negativity and I was waiting for this long-awaited tomorrow. But, by a great coincidence, this miracle doctor went on vacation the next day and another doctor came to examine me before discharge, and then it turned out that everything was very bad for me and I had to do an emergency cleaning, as there were very large clots inside and the uterus was contracting badly. And she said that if I went home on my own recognizance, I would end up in intensive care in my city. Naturally, I obeyed her and went to the cleaning.After that, my baby and I spent 4 days there. In total, my stay there took 12 days. I want to say a huge thank you to this doctor that I was left without consequences . And to Svetlana Evgenievna, the head of the postpartum department, give up your place to young and sensitive doctors, do not hold on to the chair. But unfortunately, the experience of being in the hospital in 2020 and 2024 did not please me. By that time, the head of neonatology had changed and, in general, the approach to newborn babies and newly-made moms. If earlier, with physiological weight loss, a kind woman doctor came and set her up for a positive, showed and told in detail how to feed the baby, set her up for a successful GW, which eventually turned out, thank you very much! Now the head of Homolko, Ksenia Alexandrovna, began to come and literally immediately, I won't call it anything else, intimidate moms by saying that they now have PATHOLOGICAL (her favorite word) weight loss. No matter how you explain to her that the loss is physiological and natural, she doesn't seem to hear at all. Complementary foods are immediately used, and this time even a glucose dropper with a slight excess of iron at birth. She immediately answers any arguments about the protocols of the Ministry of Health on how she should act. It is commendable that she knows the normative literature, however, in my opinion, she lacks the simple life experience to hold such a position. I have a complete feeling that he does not have children of his own. I'll be glad if I'm wrong. Meanwhile, the doctor at the clinic was very surprised when she showed an extract from the hospital and said that with such an iron, the child was offered glucose droppers. The doctor said that the iron was good and so, and literally in a day or two it returned to normal. And that if other children often develop anemia soon, then we are not in danger. In the end, I managed only by feeding my own milk without additional feeds and ivs, but, intimidated by her, I fed the child like a bad one, so that only she would not write to us that we had pathological weight loss. As a result, children are slightly obese, as lactation has developed excessively! Instead of quietly feeding the children, as before. And what do other moms do? They just stupidly feed the kids with a double and triple dose of milk, and Ksenia Alexandrovna then claps her hands and congratulates them on how well they gain weight immediately during the first and second days...................... I DON'T RECOMMEND PAID CHILDBIRTH - IT'S A WASTE OF MONEY My husband and I have been choosing a maternity hospital for a long time, there are both positive and negative reviews for each hospital, there were few negative reviews for the Minsk regional hospital + we live nearby, we decided to stay there. I gave birth in July 2025, the birth was a partnership, in general, as my husband noted, something went wrong a little bit, he looked into the birth room and immediately the attitude changed for the better. The first rule when choosing a maternity hospital is to choose a partner birth, unfortunately, in childbirth, girls are not able to stand up for themselves, you may encounter a boorish attitude, with a man as a witness, they behave more restrained. The birth went well, but then it was just hell. When we signed the contract for paid delivery, we promised a separate room, which my husband would enter, or just a paid one, where I would be alone, I also clarified about individual consultations on care and GW, they said that we do not have, but they will explain and show you everything for free - do not worry. In the end, they did not give a paid ward, the attitude was like those who give birth for free, there were no conditions, and the worst thing was the attitude. Where, a few hours after giving birth, they say: go wash your face, it stinks here afterwards, you can't meet doctors like that. The birth took place with an episode and rupture of the cervix. When I could barely walk after giving birth and was very pale with blue lips, 2 women offered to bring food into the room, it was obvious that they were afraid that I would fall somewhere. Thank them! To which I heard from the head: put on lipstick, pull yourself together, what else do you need to carry food, do the cleaning in the room, all things should be in the bedside table. Can you tell me where in the world, after surgery or other interventions, do they tell a woman to put on lipstick??? When she wrote to her husband, her husband came and talked, to which her husband was told: we can call her a psychologist. The husband said:I'm not a doctor, but even using common sense, you can assess a person's condition based on the condition of their lips, rather than suggesting that they put on lipstick after giving birth and call a psychologist. I didn't even have time to eat properly and go to the toilet, let alone put on lipstick - first-time mothers who have no experience will understand me. After my husband's visit, they abruptly found a paid room for me, although they had previously said that there were no vacancies and were not expected. In the free ward, of course, no one really tried to explain and tell about the care, when asked to help, I heard the phrase - they don't pay us for this, and we don't have paid services. I know that several people gather in mother and child and show everything clearly and explain. Here, in fact, a couple of phrases were quickly dropped, mostly without a clear example, and immediately left - you don't even have time to understand the essence. Because of this, the stress was off the charts, since only my husband and I were at home after discharge - there was no one to expect help from. Also, there was no curtain in the shower in the free room, of course there was water on the floor, for which we constantly heard complaints about ourselves. There were many other moments with a boorish attitude, the fact that before that you hadn't slept for several days because of contractions, went through childbirth and was physically exhausted - no one cared, the stress was off the scale, because of this there was no milk, and no one really showed how to apply it, only after the arrival of her husband they began to explain in words but the nipples were already gnawed and the baby was forced to switch to a mixture. The GW failed. I understand that if I were told this now, I would defend my boundaries and not tolerate rudeness, but after giving birth, even such small things are very painful because of hormones. After being transferred to a paid ward, there was a different attitude, much better. Total: find a normal consultant for care and gw before giving birth, because I was discharged in a state of terrible stress due to lack of knowledge about child care, or approach experienced mothers. Unfortunately, I was so exhausted after giving birth that I didn't have the strength to stand up for myself, and I didn't think to ask for help from experienced moms. Two stars just for giving birth - accepted and thank you. Do not rely on help with care and GW in maternity hospitals, no one cares there, you hear opposite information from different people, because of this there is even more mess in your head, study the information yourself, ask friends and experienced moms, ask your moms for help. Unfortunately, they couldn't save their marriage, and they learned how to take care of her husband online from friends with children. I wish everyone an easy birth and a human relationship!
