A stunning atmospheric place for lovers of history and privacy! If you are tired of the typical "polished" tourist locations and are looking for a place with an authentic atmosphere of antiquity, this is definitely the place for you. These ruins make an incredible impression. The stone walls of the ancient building, entwined with ivy, huge sprawling trees that make their way right through the masonry, and the soft forest light create the feeling of being caught in some kind of fairy tale or an adventure movie like "Indiana Jones." What I particularly liked: • Atmosphere and authenticity. The place is not driven into the rigid framework of commercial tourism. The zeitgeist and privacy are still felt here. The century-old arched openings and the powerful masonry look monumental. • Nature. The location is very green. The trees create excellent shade, so even on a hot sunny day it is very comfortable to walk along the walls here. The surrounding forest and ferns add color. • Secrets underfoot. We came across an ancient stone well (or an underground passage) going deep down (it looks mysterious and even a little creepy, you need to look carefully at your feet!). Some tips before visiting: 1. Shoes. Be sure to wear comfortable closed shoes with good soles (sneakers or trekking boots). The paths are wooded, sometimes unpaved, there are roots and stones. 2. Security. The place is wild, there are plenty of rubble and hidden depressions in the ground. If you are traveling with children, hold their hand — the same old wells or sinkholes are not fenced off. 3. Protection. During the season, it is not superfluous to take a mosquito/tick spray with you, as there is a lot of dense grass and shrubs around. It's a great location to touch the history, take a walk in silence and take unforgettable pictures. A real hidden gem! I recommend you to visit 100%.

A beautiful monastery lost in the forest, there is almost no garbage, which is amazing for Turkey. Just a giant, beautiful tree grows nearby and a stream flows. The road to the ruins is dirt and winding. There were no people at all. It is recommended to visit👍, you can take beautiful photos
