The museum is good, but there are few exhibits and the information they provide is not very clear. We were very tired in 30 minutes, although the museum is small
The museum is dedicated to the achievements of Arab scientists in mathematics, physics, architecture, engineering, medicine, as well as European scientists popularizing Arabic science. The museum contains models and stands with explanations in Turkish and English. There are no signs in Russian or audio guides. If you do not speak English, the value of the museum is greatly lost because of this. It is possible to enter by museum pass. There is no toilet for the public, but you can arrange with the guards and you will be escorted to the service room
For fans of the Magnificent Century series, it will be interesting to know that previously the building of this museum was the home of Ibrahim Pasha. There are many interesting expositions inside. Carpets, inlaid wooden furniture and other types of art.
In 20-30 minutes you can see the exhibits, mostly models or copies. Everything is very monotonous, for example, in one room there are only astrolabes in different versions, in another - copies of trebuchets. And there are not enough exhibits.
