This bronze sculpture, which has become an unofficial symbol of the city, can be found in the central part of the city on Mironova Street, surrounded by Spartak Stadium, 40 Years of Victory Square and MTS communications salon. The sculpture was opened on November 1, 2014. The artist Andrey Vorobyov embodied the idea of the monument, which originated with the chairman of the city executive Committee, the creation of the sculpture was funded by the city authorities and the MTS cellular communications company. The friendly Leva is sitting in a relaxed pose on a granite pedestal and talking on a mobile phone with her mother. The coat of arms of Mogilev is depicted on the front of the lion cub's T-shirt, and a sparrow sits quietly on the lion cub's left arm. The sculpture was loved by locals and tourists.
