A large number of trails, all trails are well prepared. There are many different routes. The resort has a lot of ski rentals and special ski equipment. Kind and friendly people. There are few ill-disposed people towards Russians (
There are many tourists from Russia, Israel, Ukraine, and a huge number of locals on weekends. Queues for lifts are minimal with a mustache of local arrivals. The slopes are mostly blue. The mountains are a bit difficult for beginners. A lot of broken arms and legs. There is always an opportunity to take an instructor and roll back the equipment or even get on skis. The weather was magical. Very beautiful nature. The mountains are magical . There are a lot of cafes on the slope. You won't stay hungry.

For the second year we have been vacationing with my wife in New Gudauri in February. Beautiful trails, wonderful nature, soulful atmosphere, unique nature, and Georgian cuisine ... "lick your fingers ", khachapuri, kinzmarauli, khinkali. I want to come back again. From the negative side, the high exchange rate of the lari-ruble, Ukrainian flags at the entrance to the Drunken Cherry bar, sometimes you hear from vacationers about stolen equipment. If the winter is snowy, the trails are on fire, they say that the Austrians designed the resort in the distant 2000s.

In general, we liked it, we enjoyed skiing. There are few trails, but everyone will find something interesting. Gudauri is especially good for beginners.
The people working at the resort are friendly (mostly)
Of the minuses, I would like to mention the terrible transit road that cuts through the resort. It makes dirt and noise.
The presence of Ukrainians in the service points: Ukrainian flags and boorish offensive inscriptions on advertising media
Wild behavior on the slopes and lifts of some "mountaineers". Quite often, some kind of incomprehensible landing is practiced without a queue from somewhere on the side. A man with a beard just stands in the middle of the chair, and those waiting in line have to decide which of them is superfluous. There is confusion. This character can sit on two chairs at once. The rest, again, must solve a difficult task for those who did not have enough space. Unfortunately, you need to be prepared for such savagery
Mountaineers are often found flying along the highway in a straight line in the form of a "scrap" with wild screams.

The first time in Gudauri ( after Europe) was on New Year 's Eve . The weather is great, the trails are empty, there are no queues at the lifts. The views are magnificent! Who loves Christmas trees - there are no Christmas trees. Space. The trails are wide and well maintained. The difficulty is average, but it's very much fun to drive from above. The food in the restaurants is delicious, even too tasty in places.
Of the cons:
- slow lifts
-grocery stores - with a poor choice ( we brought them from Tbilisi - it just saved us )
- pedestrians on the slopes and chairlifts - falling, stumbling - often stop the lifts because of them
-slowness in restaurants is critical

A cool and well-maintained ski resort. The tracks are diverse from amateurs to pros, ski passes are not expensive, as well as equipment at the rental. Lifts of all kinds, many cafes and recreation areas, friendly staff, but Russian cards are not accepted.

A great place for a wheelchair. I recommend it to everyone! Wide trails, many different firefighters, delicious cafes on the mountain. There are experienced instructors. And the views from the peaks are amazing. Especially on the Kobi highway, where at the end of the highway you can enjoy the grandeur of Mount Kazbek.

Excellent GLK👍 a lot of trails, everyone will find their own, both beginner and pro. I liked the Kobi highway, it goes to the other side of the mountain, there is a view of Kazbek. In sunny weather, incredible, stunning views of the mountains! The picturesque, narrow Tetra 2 highway has a huge number of people, but due to the large number of lifts, there were no queues. They spend money efficiently, since the very morning it is one bliss to ride👍😍

Expensive food in local cafes, 1200 Russian rubles for pizza. But considering the number of foreign tourists, I think this is a common price for them.

Block No. 4 in New Gudauri is a very convenient location for living. You can go down from the mountain directly to the door of the ski depot. The lift is 50 meters away on the flat, you can ski or walk. I recommend taking apartments on the 2nd floor and above with Windows to the courtyard, then there will be no noise from the restaurant on the 1st floor and from the clearing opposite the lift, music is often turned on loudly there. Of the disadvantages, only the flimsy entrance doors of the apartments with poor sound insulation, the corridor can be heard very well. In the photo from the gondola, building 4 is on the far right.

Quiet skiing for the family, the slides are wide and comfortable. The tracks are mostly blue and some are green. For fans of extreme Black and red trails, I don't think you'll like it very much. There are restaurants below and on the mountain, the prices are not cheap as everywhere in the mountains. Snow is poorly cleaned near houses, because of this, everyone walks on the roads. There is a store downstairs, the assortment is small, but you can save money. I liked it, I'll go again.

The mountains are great trails too (when there is snow). But the service (there is no information about anything that is open, that is not) and the riding culture (there are a lot of fast-driving incompetents, where beginners and children ride) are very low. The rental is generally of poor quality. Food and Georgia as a whole are not compatible (khachapuri and khinkali). There is nowhere to eat meat normally, as well as fish (be prepared to eat bread and dough derivatives, walnuts and boiled varieties of meat and poultry). You can put a confident 5 for the views and trails and there is a lot to grow.

I put a solid 5 for nature, views and beauty!I'm a skier, I liked all the trails.This is what drowned out the negative aspects.In 10 days there were only two days when there were queues, one lift broke down once, there was a long queue.I liked the infrastructure most of all in new Gudauri, there is a shop and various cafes.But the service in the establishments wants to leave the best, a biased attitude, zero friendliness.Only in one restaurant out of several, we were received cordially and affably.I didn't like mulled wine anywhere at all.Apreski can be said not at all.

I had a rest here in January, my impressions are positive. Good infrastructure, no queues for lifts. I really liked the hotel where I stayed - Gudarui Lodge. Rental, skipass, everything can be taken on site. When you leave the hotel, you immediately get on the highway. Friendly staff, good cuisine.

It's a great wheelchair. Beautiful view of the mountains. Wide trails, of which there are many. From simple to very cool. If you go with a company, then everyone needs to have a connection. You can get lost on the slope. Accommodation can be rented right next to the lift.

Плюсы:
1. Доскерам реально много пухляка
2. Прилично дешевле сочи: проживание (если выбирать с умом) и скипасы
3. Подъёмники хорошие
4. Народу прям сильно меньше по сравнению с Сочи
5. Мы нашли отель 15 мин пешком от горы, но зато с трансфером, номер с завтраком и ужином на троих - 10к в сутки. Вкусно, хорошо, но в номере нет тв и бывает прохладно
6. Говорят что тут не бывает лавин)
7. Дешёвые симки, 1000 рублей - безлимит на неделю, есть лимитные варианты сильно дешевле
Минусы:
1. Есть некая скрытая неприязнь к нашим, ее именно что чувствуешь и конечно не со всеми.
2. Для Доскеров много плоских участков и встречается обратный уклон, иногда придётся отстегиваться
3. Трассы очень однотипные, скорее это синие все с изредка красными участками. Вернее это скорее один широкий склон, в котором где то решили сделать трассы, остальное - катание рядом с тпассой
4. Можно не приехать и не уехать из аэропорта, так как при сильных снегопадах закрывают дорогу. И либо жди день - два во владике или можно не улететь обратно. Вот с нами именно это и произошло (
5. Цены в магазинах прям ощутимо выше мск
6. Ну прям вообще абсолютно нечего делать в гудаури. Если будет непогода - то скука смертная, разве что в Тбилиси сгонять (5к в 1 сторон за 2.5 часа)
7. Даже просто пройтись опасно - нет тротуаров, а по дороге едут стаи фур
8. Пересечение границы - лотерея, мы прошли за час обе, а говорят что в пиковые моменты можно простоять и целый день
9. Спа самый крутой за 50 баксов в марко поло - это полное фиаско, басик 12м и одна сауна и очень холодно, в мариотте в красной поляне в те же деньги - нереально крутой комплекс
10. Так как курорт высокий - то могут быть проблемы с дыхалкой или сердцем.
11. За два дня укатываешь все трассы и на третий уже скучно)
12. Пейзаж так же однотипный, леса нет, просто склон и всё
