We visited for the first time in the summer while in Vitebsk. On a whim we decided to see if they had an available room, which they did, and which we took. The room was clean, quiet and very contemporary. It overlooked a side street which we opened our window to when the temperature was warm. The staff was friendly and I'm sure we will return to stay again.

The hotel is located right in the center of all tourist attractions. Everything is within walking distance.
We had three rooms.
1 - suite on the 4th floor. It's a bit heavy without an elevator. The room is spacious, 2-room. But! We were in December, although there were no severe frosts, we were frozen. The batteries are slightly warm, we asked for help, fortunately the chief engineer was at the reception, he told us to turn on the air conditioner for warm air. Unfortunately, the air was warm, but this air did not reach the bedroom. And even if it did, it wouldn't be very good, because the air in the room was too dry, the windows weren't open - it was cold.
Oh, the other two rooms, the single rooms on both the 3rd and 4th floors, were very warm from the batteries and regularly ventilated. Here is such an incident.
Towels were changed every day in our suite.
We liked the food in the hotel restaurant, went to breakfasts and dinners. Breakfasts can be ordered as a set, or according to the menu. A la carte dinners. For money, the prices are average. Nearby, the Batkov Hut (a la Sovetskaya canteen) is cheaper, and nearby restaurants are more expensive.
Although the street where the hotel is located is pedestrian, you can park your car at the hotel.

A very cozy, small hotel! Excellent location, close to the pedestrian zone, in the historical center, within walking distance from all attractions. There is an unusual interior inside, a lot of vintage items, photos. H lived in a single room. It is very small, but everything is there: a refrigerator, a half-liter bottle of water, slippers, soap and gel in the bathroom dispenser. Very hearty breakfasts, three options to choose from.

The kitchen was very good, everything was delicious, the waiters were beyond praise - very attentive and nimble.
The interior of the restaurant is already too old and could be renovated. The size of the toilets surprised me, it is possible to accommodate only children there.
The entertainment program is good, the singer sings very well. But somehow very little, at 23 that's all.
In general, I liked everything. I recommend it with some reservations.

Что не понравилось:
1. Корпоративы в ресторане.. На втором этаже стаканы подпрыгивают от очень громкой музыки.. Понимаю, что Новый год, но от этого не легче.. Спать невозможно..
2. Выезжали из отеля 2 января.. Завтрака нет.. Все отдыхают.. Несмотря на наличие кофемашины в баре, налить хотя бы кофе, отказали, дословно "только для персонала"..
Первый раз были в Витебске, впечатления не совсем типичные для Беларуси..

A good, quite cozy mini-hotel in the center of Vitebsk, almost on the banks of the Dvina River.
Interesting interior, with a focus on the history of the city, comfortable rooms (rested in a suite), pleasant and unobtrusive service.
The rooms are clean, you can see the concern for the condition of the hotel and the guests. Some household appliances are missing, such as an electric kettle and a microwave, which, however, are provided by the staff on request.
And, just when using the kettle, the only disadvantage of the hotel appeared: problems with electrical wiring. When the kettle was turned on, a power failure occurred within a few seconds, the room was de-energized (except for the kettle, at that moment the split was working, the refrigerator was charging the smartphone and laptop. The staff reacted quickly and turned the room back on.
A cursory analysis of the wiring (I am an energy engineer, so that there are no questions about competence) showed that the entire outlet load in a two-room suite hangs on a single cable, the second one, farthest from the input, part of which is also made on the basis of a PV insulated cable with a cross section of no more than 1.5 sq.mm. From here it became clear why when the load increased, a failure occurred. And why there was no kettle and microwave in the room initially). The staff is clearly aware of this "feature" of the room).
Summary: a nice cozy hotel in which it would be necessary to carry out minor repairs and redistribute the electrical load.

Great hotel. We stayed for two nights in the fall of 24. Everything is fine, very clean. Polite staff. The hotel is located in the very center of historical Vitebsk. The building is old, but with its charm, very quiet. A beautiful huge, but ind. sauna. I recommend the hotel to everyone.

The hotel is located right on the pedestrian street of Vitebsk, in the very center. The Marc Chagall Museum is nearby. The interior of the hotel resembles a museum. There are a lot of interesting items, it's nice to sit in the lobby bar, drink beer or cocoa (whichever you like), the prices are affordable. The rooms are small, but very pleasant and cozy. Everything you need to stay is there.

The impressions of the hotel are mixed. The advantages include a convenient location in the center of the Old Town, delicious breakfasts, courteous staff, and the presence of a sauna. The decoration of the hotel is retro (there are many antique household items on the stairwells, floors and rooms, it is not very clear what years, a kind of vinaigrette from different eras), which can be attributed to both the pros and cons. The idea itself is original, such a hotel definitely stands out from the rest. But the side effect is a noticeable smell of junk on the floor, which is not surprising, given the abundance of ancient things and the age of the building. The room also had a smell, but to a lesser extent, in addition, the room can still be ventilated. There is no elevator, of course, on foot to the 4th floor with suitcases. The room is spacious, but, in my opinion, uncomfortable and gloomy, although they tried to make it in the same old style. Translucent curtains on the windows, no thick curtains! Besides, it was cold at night, I slept under two blankets. Breakfast is not included in the room rate, a complex one costs 15 rubles. We took the menu, the price was about the same amount (I liked the breakfast). We were also unlucky, the hot water was turned off on the day of departure, but we were offered to use the shower in the sauna. To summarize: the hotel is suitable for those who like to take an excursion into the past, visiting their grandmother, or even great-grandmother, but at the price of a modern hotel)

Cons - it's difficult to book, we managed))) We stayed in a two-room corner suite a couple of times, in different ones, in a junior suite, now in a 36-room two-room suite, gorgeous! There are few standard rooms, they are almost always occupied because they are inexpensive. Also one of the advantages is a chic lobby and a bar. The reception staff is professional. You feel very comfortable.

What was wrong:
The lack of ventilation, with the windows open
, it is comfortable until dawn - then the noise of crows, the curtains are transparent and the first rays of the sun do not let you sleep. The description of the hotel claims good sound insulation, but the cardboard door and creaky floors do not allow us to agree with this.

What can I say about the hotel? There is a unique combination of opposites) On the one hand, it's a pretty old building. However, so is everyone in the area. It's hard to tell from the layout what used to be here. Perhaps some kind of administrative building with offices (I am not a historian, and for sure the old-timers of Vitebsk will tell you). The old creaking parquet in the corridor (not in the rooms), Soviet posters, maps, busts of Lenin, some old utensils on the walls of the corridor. There was a radio with a Chaliapin record in the room, the TV stood on the skeleton of a Singer typewriter) There are interesting paintings on the walls of the room. The bathrooms have fairly simple, but good-quality plumbing, everywhere there are pieces of paper with the inscription "disinfected" (o - responsibility). All the linen is clean, everything is neat. Breakfast in the room is delicious!
In short, the impressions are only favorable!

There is no parking of its own, there is a street parking lot in front of the hotel, exactly under the sign "Parking is prohibited".

I don't know how the other rooms are, ours was the smallest with two beds, strangely, but with only one double suite. I have been sleeping only on a large bed for a long time, so the single seemed uncomfortable. The room is clean, cleaning and changing of towels every day. I took off the star for the restaurant, it's expensive and not tasty, however, as well as the breakfasts. The oatmeal porridge is bland, it does not look like porridge, the coffee is also sour. In general, it is better to organize breakfast here yourself, they give you a kettle, sausage in Belarus is very tasty and not expensive. It will be inexpensive and delicious.

Great location. There is a parking place
There is a strange filling of objects in the hallway and on the stairs. The room is neat and clean. However, it begs for an interior renovation and renovation. The refrigerator is very loud and had to be turned off at night. There was no air conditioning in the room. It was possible to live only with the windows open. The windows overlooked the courtyard, it was noisy in the morning.

Simple, clean, cozy and wonderful, friendly staff. There are a lot of Soviet-era props in the halls and corridors. The bathroom is clean, everything is working properly. The breakfasts are delicious and hearty. Special thanks - they met us halfway and at an early check-out, when the restaurant was not yet open, they still cooked scrambled eggs and sandwiches, made coffee. Everything is nice and pleasant. Very convenient location, right in the center. Nearby there are shops, pharmacies, beauty shops. Convenient parking. We recommend it!

Advantages of the hotel:

- parking near the hotel;
- friendly staff;
- interesting design of the hotel, you can look at household items from the Soviet past for a long time in the halls;
- the single room has an entrance hall with a hanger, a wardrobe, a desk, a bed, a huge refrigerator, a private bathroom, a TV, disposable slippers;
- the room is clean;
Disadvantages of the hotel:
- several floors and no elevator;
- it's cold in the room. It was only about 0 outside and 18 degrees in the room. There is no air conditioning. I suppose it can be hot in summer;
- weak sound insulation of doors;
- it's time to make repairs: peeling wallpaper, old switches, tees in sockets do not add security, although there is some Soviet charm in this;
- there is nothing in the bathroom except towels, a hair dryer and soap dispensers;
- the idea of a large, but empty and switched-off refrigerator is unclear. It is strange to put a monitor instead of a TV and, most importantly, it is unclear what can be seen in it from a distance, where the bed is;
- breakfast is weak: bread, sliced from several pieces of sausage and cheese, butter, yogurt, waffle, tea, coffee and a hot dish to choose from: porridge, eggs, pancakes or cheesecakes. It is difficult to stay hungry, but not to say that it is the top of taste.
Considering that there are few normal modern accommodation options in Vitebsk for a more or less adequate price, it is quite possible to stay here. There are a lot of strange decisions and the need for repairs, but cleanliness and good staff help smooth it out. Foreigners who have never seen the USSR are generally delighted with the hotel.

We have a double impression of the hotel. On the one hand, Wow!!! The city center, the embankment, the views, the hotel is very interestingly decorated, original rooms, beautiful stairs, entrance...there are many things that attract the eye. Convenient location, parking was even found in the evening. But...))) there is always a but. We arrived late, it was a day to rummage through suitcases, and there were no disposable brushes in the room, there was no extractor hood in the toilet at all, the shower cabin was covered with a curtain, it didn't seem scary, but it constantly clung to the body while taking a shower, until you move it away and go out - there was a puddle on the floor. The bed seems to be interestingly made, but the mattress is such that if you go to bed alone, you roll down to it, and when you get up, you jump up) I don't know how in the season, but it was quiet under our windows, we slept well even with the windows open.

We were with the family. In June 2024. A two-room room on the 3rd floor. It is decorated in an original way. Like it. Clear. The TV is only very small and you need to get used to turning it on. The very center of the city. On Sovetskaya Street. Near Suvorov Street. The streets are pedestrian, so you can hear the voices of people walking along the streets. There is no kettle in the room. There is no elevator in the hotel. There are canteens nearby. They didn't take breakfast. Parking is under the Windows, but we put the car away, as the sign was parking is prohibited. The staff is polite. In general, we were satisfied.

Not long ago, I visited the sauna at the Eridan Hotel with my family. I haven't been there for a long time. Not much has changed, but overall it's not bad. Although repairs can already be done in some places. However, it should be noted that there is a lot of space, everything is clean, clean sheets and dishes, TV, etc. The sauna itself is not bad, but lovers of a Russian bath will not come in: it's hot from above, so from below. Separately, about the pool: the size is good, but the water is a little cold. The staff's work is excellent, no one knocks or kicks you out, even if you are delayed. In general, you can have a good cold evening with your family and friends. I recommend.

The bathroom does not have a shower, but a bathtub. All accessories including hats and slippers! The price per day is 6000 rubles, you will not find a better offer in Vitybsk. The hotel itself is richly decorated with antiques, very stylish and pleasant little things, but somewhat overloaded with them. I took the cheapest room. He turned out to be like that. Sad. Positive:
1) excellent location: in the very center, quietly, a step away from the architectural monument, a square overlooking the embankment
2) the staff is friendly, friendly, ready to help
3) the room is minimalistic in a good way (I had a single room), there is spot light, the graphics on the walls are pleasant, high ceilings
4) Very clean
5) no one can be heard (and this is when fully loaded)
6) a thick book with "hotel classics of services" – dry cleaning, rumservice, python skin..
7) your router is in the room!
Minor disadvantages:
1) The design of the common areas is maximalistic retro kitsch. If you can't stand vintage artifacts, decoupage cabinets, and positive quotes at all, you're not here. If you take it out, keep in mind – it's better live (I don't believe I'm writing this myself)
2) the water pressure on the 4th floor could be stronger, but in general (in early May) it is tolerable
3) the bed linen smells strongly enough of air conditioning, if suddenly you are allergic, it is better to smell it before checking in, well, satin is more appropriate for the situation. And it is also better to put warm light lamps in the floor lamp, this is my subjective opinion.

A good hotel for three with very friendly staff. The hotel is organically styled as a museum, both in the common area and to a lesser extent in the room (I had a single).
The room is very clean, bed linen, towels are clean, without stains and odors. Good sound insulation of the rooms (I did not hear the neighbors at all), there is a restaurant at the hotel (I was not there), the hotel offers classic breakfasts. There is a sauna on the ground floor (I have not been) and all the classic related hotel services like waking up at some time, washing, ironing, minor repairs of things. Each room has its own Internet access point (optics), the speed is not high, but the connection is stable, as well as a direct landline phone (I did not use) and TV (I did not use).
Convenient location in the city center.
The prices are adequate. In general, the price / quality.

We always stay at this hotel when we are in Vitebsk. It is a very atmospheric and unlike anything else place. The staff is pleasant, the location is perfect, there is a pedestrian zone nearby, a good beer bar and restaurants. The whole interior is from the distant past, but with taste. A good place to spend the night passing through and get acquainted with the central part of the city. I recommend it!

A wonderful hotel, original, with a million little things and interior stuff. Old photos, antique furniture, books, vases - everything is very interesting and stylish. The building is old, there is no elevator, the doors open with keys, but this is the flavor. The price for the room is low, in the hot season it will, of course, be slightly higher. The hotel is located at the very beginning of the promenade street, next to the Marc Chagall Art Center, and there are reproductions of Chagall's paintings on the walls of the hotel too.
Don't expect super-modern services here, it's about something completely different, about a nice and sincere reception of guests. Breakfast at the hotel restaurant is inexpensive, and normal, again, it's so nice to take care of the guests. The rooms are clean, but it is better to take your bathroom accessories with you.
There is Parking, but check-in to the restaurant "Rib".

A junk shop, not a hotel. It feels like you're living in a landfill. We lived on the third floor, an unpleasant smell both in the corridor and in the room - maybe rotten ceilings, maybe mothballs from the trash that is in the room and corridor.
For those who want to live in an old communal apartment, littered with junk, with plywood doors to the room, shabby furniture. There was a roaring Soviet-era refrigerator in the room, a chest with a samovar, a 70s record player as a bedroom decoration. There is no kettle in the room, but there are mugs. Renovation - greetings from the 90s. And in the hallway there is a warehouse of old furniture, and as soon as you enter the floor, you stink, you enter the room - you immediately open the windows. The only plus is the convenient location of this institution, and you are in the center of the historical part of the city.
