They began to remove the coating. More precisely, they call it "Cleaning" here. Like caries in a tooth, no other way. They remove everything and almost to the meat. (Another master confirmed to me that the top layer of the nail was severely damaged)
If you explain to the master that you don't need to take everything off at all, they won't listen to you. They will only say that it is customary for them and that you are lying down, like they leave something, and in the nail there is a hole in the meantime ...
How do you ask what kind of gel base they have, because it should be dense and will cover what is left on the nail (the old base), they just show you a tube and that's it, the question is closed, we "Clean" further.
You say that the nails are thin and you can't treat them like that, you need to strengthen them - your problems are, your nails are bad.
Has the master ever sawed before? - He shot it wrong.
Can't your nails be soaked? - It will take a long time to work on dry, the master will refuse.
It also killed that if you ask to remove a smaller layer or a manicure on a dry one, it's a long time. In the first case, you do less work for the master himself. And in the second, imagine, there are different execution techniques
In general, they do not know the terms, the technician does not want to listen to the client (since he knows his nails better and what is worn on them).
There is also an unsanitary situation here: I came before the master and the milling cutter was already inserted into the machine. And the table is kind of right by the door. The master did not wash his hands after the street, he did not treat either his own or my hands with alcohol, he immediately began to remove them. Well, there is also no question of opening a package with processed tools with a client.
If you want to save your nails, I really do not recommend it
And now I have to use healing tools, wear Band-Aids and look for a normal master...
