Critical disadvantages appear in the season. The sewage system can't cope and periodically the toilet stinks of stagnant urine. Elevators are a separate story, with an endless stream of people, unfortunately, you have to wait for an elevator for 5-10 minutes. And considering that the living quarters are from ~ 6th floor, this is unpleasant.
The building is beautiful from the outside, but it is already old inside. For so many people, they made such a small hall. Of the 5 elevators, only one works, and then one at a time. Because of this, there are always queues.
We have booked an apartment in Paradise Apartments Batumi. Dirty and outdated apartments. The furniture is already all rolled up. The bed linen in the spools is both thin and a hard mattress. The sewer in the bathroom stinks terribly. It is impossible to be there. All the plumbing was dripping and streaked. I don't understand the rave reviews.
I rented an apartment in Dubai for the same amount, and this is heaven and earth. In Batumi, apparently all buildings and hotels have problems with service. Because it's very hard to find something good.
It's a good place. My wife and I really liked it. Pleasant environment. Convenient location. High-quality service. And next to it is the absolutely creepiest residential complex "White Magnolia".
Nice rooms, excellent cuisine, great location. There is a fitness room, a swimming pool, a sauna and a relaxation room. Good service. The hotel has a parking lot.
I've never seen a worse hotel than this one. I am writing specifically about Marriott, not about the Alliance, which is in the same building. We arrived at check-in at 21.00 and were told that the air conditioner was not working in our room (we took king sea view) and we were given a room with a view of the city for the night (but the payment was taken as for a room with a sea view, which is $ 20 more expensive). But the air conditioner didn't work in the new room #331 either, I didn't swear anymore. In the morning, instead of resting, we had to pack our suitcase back and carry it downstairs, because we were given a new room only from 13.00, and in the morning we had to leave for an excursion. We spent time on all these fees.
We arrive in the evening, they give us room 101 (that is, on the ground floor and there should still be a sea view!), although they promised on the same floor (why did they promise if they didn't fulfill it?!). As a result, our room overlooks the spa and the naked men who sunbathe there (chic, no other way). The balcony is one meter by one meter, but it is impossible to approach the fence! There's some kind of beauty there! The balcony overlooking the city was better.
We're coming in, so there's a new surprise - there are shards of glass on the floor! Excellent cleaning here means in a 5-star hotel! I had to call the reception and ask for additional cleaning, lost time on this, just sat and waited for cleaning.
A new "surprise" - the Internet is constantly turned off, we called the reception, they told us that there is such a problem all the time. Well, super, we come to such hotels just for problems.
For breakfast, coffee was served only from a kettle. When I asked where I could get an espresso, I was twice offered to take coffee from the kettle and only then agreed to bring espresso from somewhere in the office. Saving on a coffee machine??I'm not even talking about the fact that there are no scrambled eggs for breakfast, only an omelette (I'm allergic to milk), the pancakes are terrible, the feeling of a third-rate hotel.

On the plus side: I demanded a discount for a night in a different type of room (before that, we were charged the full cost as for the category above), they gave us $ 50 and twice brought a compliment. But people come on vacation not for $ 50, but for a good mood, which I did not find here.

The hotel is generally not bad, comfortable room, clean , spacious , delicious breakfast. But one moment disappointed me . They left wine in the storage room for an hour, one was missing. It seems to me that this is not acceptable for this level of hotel. The impression is spoiled. Management needs to select staff more carefully.
I liked the hotel as a whole. The room is clean and new. The only thing that is not very convenient is that the bathroom is behind a glass partition. At night, the light prevents you from sleeping and you can hear everything. The breakfast is good. Nice SPA. I'll come back here again
The hotel is not bad. But they give you weird numbers about reservations, so that you can pay extra later. There is a smell of sewage in many rooms, 4 rooms were changed, as a result they were picked up odorless and with a good view. The breakfasts are good, also on the terrace, the view is awesome. The repair in the room is good, all the dishes, even very beautiful glasses)
Overall, a good impression, but there is a jamb with ventilation, sometimes there is a smell of smoking, then sewage
At the reception, some of the porters defiantly deny the Russian language, and they don't know English too well either
However, the views and location of the hotel are wonderful

Not a bad room with a beautiful view. But there are moments that are VERY confusing: the lack of any hygiene supplies like toothbrushes and pastes, cotton pads, chopsticks, there was 1 small body cream for 2 guests in the bathroom and that's it. The empty mini bar was also confusing. The sheet was apparently not completely dry, there was a sour smell of not completely dried linen. The breakfasts are not bad. The reception "does not understand" Russian, but as it turned out later, they speak it well.
A bad hotel, for those who appreciate comfort and service and understand this, I do not recommend the hotel. Breakfast is weak, the smell will stay with you until the evening) we tried to have breakfast in the lobby, but they will try in every possible way not to serve you there because the logistics between the cafe and the kitchen are complicated. There are no breakfast restaurants in the vicinity. The staff of the lobby bar does not know what service is. the rooms are very ordinary, the toilet and bathroom are not comfortable. In general, the hotel has a maximum of 3 stars.
A comfortable hotel. Nice apartment with sea view. Clean, cool.

1) A great breakfast, whatever your heart desires
2) There is a Business area downstairs where you can work normally or just sit and read something

Номер: абсолютно стандартный, «на одно лицо», как в десятках других отелей, кто много путешествует, тот меня поймет - они все одинаковые. Что касается качества - ноль вопросов! Чистый. Сухой. Теплый (зима). Вода, чай кофе, сахар - всё есть. Пополняют ежедневно.
Кровать с прекрасным матрасом, достаточным количеством подушек.
Единственное что, как я ещё где то встречала - санузел огорожен лишь стеклянной перегородкой. Поэтому если вы пара в период букетов и конфет - вам будет морально дискомфортно справлять естественные потребности.
Персонал: потрясающие ребята, вежливые, профессионалы своего дела, полностью соблюдающие стандарты. Приведу пример. Попросила штопор в номер, позвонив на ресепшен. Через пару минут обратный звонок по телефону - мы вам принесли штопор, но мы не можем вам постучать так как у вас на двери табличка «не беспокоить». То есть даже если я сама попросила стандарты им не позволяют стучать в дверь, если там табличка.
Говорят на трех языках свободно, а может быть и больше. Грузинский, русский, английский - точно.
Еда: хороший завтрак, как обычно везде - шведская линия, плюс могут сделать омлет/яичницу индивидуально для вас, так же могут индивидуально сварить овсянку. Вкусно. В процессе завтрака в ресторане работают официанты - могут принести кофе/напитки, но я старалась не напрягать людей.
Месторасположение: это центр, всё рядом. Куча грузинских рестиков. Пекарни. Супермаркеты. Первая линия, вид на море и озеро с фонтанами. Такси в любую точку города можно вызвать в течении 2 минут.
В целом впечатления самые лучшие, я однозначно буду ещё здесь останавливаться. Рекомендую.
9 out of 10 reviews here about apartments located in the same building as the Marriott. A 5* hotel has nothing to do with these holes for 3 kopecks. Reviewers, at least think a little before writing. You are misleading.

Первое что приходит в голову хаос, и он во всем! Лифты плохо работают вечно толпа народу, завтрак, никакого разнообразия!По сравнению с 2019 годом намного дороже стало. По сравнению со Стамбулом, небо и земля. В Стамбуле и дешевле, сервис есть и отношение доброжелательное. Мы в 2019 году в Батуми выброли Редисон, это уровень, там хорошо. А сюда не вернусь и не рекомендую. Старался быть объективным
