A few years ago, this interior was very themed and relevant. Now, in general, it is also interesting to see. The staff is very friendly. Delicious lemonade and medium coffee from Turki. I came in for curiosity.
I would like to express my opinion regarding this "hotel" and warn potential guests.
I highly recommend not staying more than 1 night, the staff does not have the concept of "service". Next, I will list the disadvantages according to the points:
1. Nutrition. We rested with my husband for 9 nights, initially taking breakfast for all days. The breakfasts were scheduled for the time from 9 to 11. On the first day, we arrived for breakfast on time at 10 a.m.-there was almost nothing left of the food. The staff does not record in any way who ate and who did not. Scrambled eggs and sausages were already prepared for us on the go. On the second day, we had to go on an excursion by 8 a.m., so we asked for food with us - the administrator said that there was an opportunity to prepare a box (in general it was satisfying), but we need to inform in advance. On the 3rd day, we had to go on an excursion even earlier (by 7 a.m.)- alas , we didn 't have time to cook and we left hungry . Because we had excursions for all days, we decided to remove the breakfasts. Therefore, if there are no early risers, then I recommend walking to the center and quietly eating a full meal in a cafe.
2. Cleanliness of the rooms and cleaning. During the entire stay, the room was cleaned 1(!) time and only after 5 days of stay, and then only after my repeated requests (it seemed that sometimes my requests were ignored by the administrators). When changing towels and bed linen, dirty ones were brought (see photo). Shampoo was not brought once, shower gel only once (although it is indicated that there are hygiene supplies). Of course, there was no question of a toothbrush with toothpaste. There were woodlice running around in the bathroom, and we noticed ants in the room itself… Thus, this hotel did not distinguish itself by cleanliness.
3. The room. The room itself turned out to be quite shabby - the handle in the toilet was initially broken (I told the owner repeatedly throughout the days-I never fixed it), so they went to the toilet with the door half open; the wallpaper was torn and the floor was broken (you could easily stumble). There was also no TV in the room, as indicated in the description (well, God forbid), a kettle (and it was very necessary - some medicines had to be dissolved in boiling water). There were not enough extras. Trash cans (I had to throw everything out either in the bathroom in the trash or on the street).
4. Location. The hotel itself is located on a hill climb in the old town. It's so hard to walk all the time, and not every taxi runs right up to the hotel. I really did not like the constant walking of tourists who do not live in the rooms - because the Room itself was on the 1st floor, there was no sound insulation at all. There were footsteps, conversations, and all the other noise from the tourists.
In summary, I can say that if this institution positions itself as a hotel, then the rating is no more than 1 star; the service and quality of service are very lame. Unfortunately, our stay in Georgia left a very bad impression on us. Be vigilant and attentive when choosing accommodation (it is better to overpay and choose a chain hotel).
2 stars only for the appearance of the staff and for the cleanliness.
How can we assess the fact that in 3 months we had a reservation for 5 people, and upon arrival, on the threshold we were told "we don't look at this booking of yours at all, what kind of confirmation was there for you, it's not interesting to us"
And it's just very good that there was 1 room, and they let us in. A few minutes later, a group of 10 people arrived and they would have been accommodated instead of us, so we were just very lucky.
