Customer focus is at zero. The desire to make money on you here and now at any cost. As long as you don't have a conflict situation, then everything is fine, but if suddenly something goes wrong, then you will be robbed like a stick and will not be responsible for anything. And now for more details.
My first acquaintance with this office happened a year ago, and then I was satisfied with everything, because everything was simple – I gave them money, they rented me a car. Inspired by the past experience, this year I decided to rent a car from them again for a trip to Armenia. Yes, this office declares on its official website that it offers a service for granting permission to cross the border with Armenia, this option can be selected when booking a car and you will be charged 86 euros for it at the time of writing the review. I booked a car with this option and waited for the day I received the car. When we received the car, we asked the managers about the nuances of passing the border, to which we were assured that there would be no problems, only when passing the border we would have to pay something like an environmental fee. Armed with this information, we got into a mishina and immediately drove towards the border. We passed the Georgian border cheerfully, but there were problems on the Armenian border. As it turned out, there is a law according to which citizens of the EAEU countries cannot enter the territory of Armenia in cars with Georgian license plates. In other words, despite all the assurances of the managers and the 86 euros paid, we were not allowed to cross the Armenian border. In a panic, we called the managers with the question "how is this?", to which we received vague answers that they themselves did not understand what was happening, but, of course, they were ready to refund the money. We arranged for them to come pick up the car at the border. After waiting for about three hours, a couple of guys really came to pick up the car, but when asked where the money was, it sounded literally "what kind of money"? Yes, they wanted to pick up the car now, and return the money "sometime later." For a moment, we were talking about the amount of almost 1,000 euros. To the question, what funds should we use to rent a new car now, there was some kind of idiotically mocking answer, in the spirit of, what, you don't have any more money? When we insisted on a refund now, it turned out that these guys didn't have any money with them at all, and we had to go to a neighboring city (an hour's drive in one direction) to an ATM to withdraw money. There's nothing to do, we're off. When we finally got to the ATM, the money was returned to us.... maybe you thought that they at least apologized for the fact that we, trusting their office, lost a whole day, had to pay for a taxi from the border with Armenia, as well as urgently and at an inflated price to book a new car in Armenia? Of course not! Despite the initial assurances to return the entire amount, they deducted 230 euros from us for a day of using the car (trampling on the border, yeah), for half a tank of gasoline (although we drove only 75 kilometers), as well as (attention!) for granting permission to cross the border with Armenia (which works so wonderfully!), and also did not hesitate to withdraw 4 euros for some mystical service fee (service at a height, no doubt, it would not be a pity to give 5 euros!). Yes, that's right, we lost a whole day of vacation, as well as several hundred dollars, using their wonderful service, and these guys did not miss their benefits.
I asked the head account manager for clarification, but he confirmed that there was no mistake. According to him, they ensured that the car was released from Georgia, but the fact that the car was not allowed into Armenia is not his problem. They do not know and do not want to know anything about the legislation of Armenia, which regulates the procedure for importing their cars to Armenia. They will take money from you, assure you in writing and verbally that everything will be fine, but they will not be responsible for anything. If the car is allowed across the border, fine, but if not, they are still not at a loss. Customer problems are customer problems, and 230 euros are not lying on the road. And anyway, we should be glad that at least something was returned to us.
That's the story. Think for yourself whether you need to contact this office.
The "trip to Armenia" service does not work! They do not know the laws of passing the border by car, EAC citizens will be deployed on the Armenian border, and the managers will say "it's your fault that you don't know the laws, we don't have to know them", and they will charge you more than 200 euros for one day of rental.
And now the situation is: we have booked a car for travel to Armenia, sent a passport/driver's license, we were assured that they would prepare all the necessary documents for crossing the border, and there would be no problems. On the day of receiving the car, they asked again, "are there any points that you need to know?" No, they cross over without any problems... As a result, it turned out at the Armenian border that since the beginning of the year (i.e. 9 months ago), a law has been adopted according to which EAC citizens cannot cross the border by car with Georgian license plates unless an insurance deposit equal to the cost of customs clearance has been made... They drove the car back to the Georgian side. At the time of the drivers' arrival, it turned out that they had not been given money to return to us, although they assured us on the phone that they would bring the entire amount (the whatsapp manager said "don't you have more money?"). After long calls, they agreed to return the money to us. We went to an ATM located an hour away... and we were given an amount of 230 euros less, explaining that the company had issued a power of attorney (which did not help) + we essentially rented a car for a day (yeah, we drove 1.5 hours to the border and lost more than 6 hours to clarify the situation, cross the borders back and forth and refund part of the money), well, gasoline as for the 2 sides of the trip to the border (although the car was returned at the border)... Again, they promised to return everything on the phone at first, the drivers were not given money at all, they agreed to return it to us with long calls, and after transferring the money, "well, that's how much you have, take that much." The subsequent conversation with the manager came down to the fact that we are to blame, the office is not obliged to know the laws on crossing the border by vehicles, the office is only obliged to make a power of attorney and that's it. So, citizens of Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, look, think, if anything, you will be to blame for not double-checking at the office, and whether you can cross the border in their car))
