The ancient Mahuntset arch bridge of Queen Tamara across the Adjariskali River in the village of Keda is one of the most famous in Adjara. Our tour of mountainous Adjara began with him and the nearby waterfall. It is just under a hundred meters from the Batumi-Akhaltsikhe highway. Two descents to the bridge from the highway along the steps. The bridge is about 30 meters long, 2.5 meters wide, and about 6 meters high. We crossed the bridge to the other side. It was built of volcanic rocks, and crushed stones were laid. Although the bridge was repaired in 2008, there are some potholes. There's a restaurant on the opposite side of the river. There is a small beach near the coast next to the highway, boats are lying. But there was a heavy downpour the day before, and the usually clear water in Adjariskali became muddy, so no one swam, and neither did we. And we didn't swim. Churchkhela and other local products are sold near the bridge. There is a toilet nearby (1 GEL). Parking space. During our tour, we visited three arch bridges, but judging by the number of tourists, this bridge is the most popular.

Well, on the way to the waterfall, you can stop and take a look, I don't recommend anyone to go on purpose. The bridge is unusual (stone, without fences, over a rather stormy river), it looks like an ancient one, but in fact it was restored in 2008, it is not clear how much ancient details are preserved there.
