Not a single bus runs ((But there used to be regular buses to Pripyat! In 1986, the designers of the Sarcophagus were located in the bus station building. The large hall was used as a drawing workshop, where the architects drew the outlines of the future shelter above the destroyed reactor. Buses with shift staff from Kiev and Ivankov arrived at the Chernobyl bus station. For the staff, the station was the main transport gate of the exclusion zone, so the building housed a dosimetric service and two grocery stores.
