A grandiose structure. It's interesting to see how proud people are of their history. The exhibition is dedicated to different periods of French history. The pendulum is also interesting to see. In the lower floor of the burial ground. It's a little creepy, but some of them are very interesting. There are many university buildings around. Very close to the Luxembourg Gardens. Stunningly beautiful and pleasant for a walk. I advise you to combine them.

The Pantheon in Paris is not just a beautiful building, but a true symbol of history and culture. It was originally the church of Saint Genevieve, and later became the tomb of the great people of France. The place itself is very atmospheric: you go inside and immediately feel greatness and tranquility. My advice is to get tickets online in advance, so you can avoid a long queue. We came without preparation and stood for about forty minutes, but it was worth it. By the way, admission is free for visitors under the age of 18, as well as to many museums in Paris. The organ was playing beautifully and solemnly inside, which added a special mood. There is a wonderful neighborhood nearby — you can just walk around, admire the architecture, have a snack and sit in a cozy atmosphere. People behave calmly and respectfully, the staff is friendly, the navigation is convenient — everything is done to make the visit pleasant. In general, the Pantheon is a place where history meets beauty, and it should definitely be included in the route around Paris.

The temple of all the gods, according to Roman. In fact, the tomb of famous people of France has been here since 1791. It used to be the neoclassical Church of Saint Genevieve, built by architect Jacques-Germain Soufflot and Jean-Baptiste Rondelet in 1790. Voltaire, Jean-Jacques Rousseau, Napoleon's Marshal Lannes, mathematician Lagrange, Victor Hugo, Emile Zola, Marie Skladovskaya-Curie, Alexandre Dumas (father) and many others are buried here. The last burials of members of the French resistance were in 2024. I examined the resting places of these people with great respect. I also admired the Fouquet pendulum model. A wonderful memorial place! And it's beautiful.
