We checked into this mini-hotel urgently, as the accommodation that we had booked in advance did not suit us. There are 5 small rooms. On weekdays from 9 to 18, a Maya woman sits there, pleasant, she cleans and performs the function of an administrator, as I understand it. But, unfortunately, she does not solve anything there: we needed an iron, they promised to bring it by the evening, in the end something happened and the iron was not brought in principle. Maya had to blush and apologize and say that she doesn't solve anything here)) Although when we checked in, we were told that there was an iron and ironing board)) also a strange thing is that the rooms have air conditioning, but there is no remote control from it. We were there in April, respectively, there was no intense heat yet, although there were days when the temperature rose to +30. As if a choice was made for us that we would not need an air conditioner and we would not be allowed a remote control) but in general, when we left, we were allowed to leave our things in a small separate room, which pleased us, not everywhere there is such a service. The rooms themselves are normal, you can get to the central avenue in 3 minutes, although down a steep descent, but this did not bother us. In general, you can live, it's a good option)
One of the advantages is the location .
The entire center is within walking distance.
One of the disadvantages is a very old sofa in the living room (for August 2024), it was not something to lie on, it was uncomfortable to sit on!
If desired, this shortcoming can be easily corrected!
This is the worst experience of all time traveling (about 50 countries). Beware of this place!
During the check-in at night after arriving from the airport, an unpleasant surprise awaited - the door to the building was closed. The message with the code for the intercom came only on the day of the eviction. People on the street helped, who had to be reached in the dark with a suitcase (the street was deserted) - they called the hotel's phone number. The man who answered introduced himself as the owner of the Akakiy, judging by the sounds, was in a pleasure establishment, dictated the code for the intercom. There was no one at the reception, although the description indicated a 24-hour front desk. I had to find Wi-Fi and call Akaky again. He told me where to get the room key and explained this situation by saying that the guy at the reception had a baby, and they were celebrating. I was sympathetic, of course, but as it turned out later, there is no guy from the reception, and the owner is a pathological liar.
The room is small but clean. Maya, the cleaner, does her job perfectly, and she is the only pleasant person I had to contact. The view from the window is terrible - at an abandoned building located very close. There is practically no daylight coming in.
The main discomfort was caused by artificial lighting - it is insufficient and emits an unpleasant, ringing, annoying sound. I asked to change my number on my working day (I was ready to pay extra if necessary, since important video calls for work were scheduled for the evening). The night before, I was forced to turn off the lights and stay in the dark, it is impossible to tolerate this sound. They told me that there were no available rooms, and promised to replace the light bulbs within an hour. I left the hotel for a few hours, and when I returned, I found that no one had replaced anything. When leaving, I asked the cleaner to remind the owner about the light bulbs if the master does not come within half an hour. The next day, she said that she had reminded me 2 times, but no one had been sent. Even 10 minutes of being in a room with annoying unpleasant sound and dim light becomes torture. And you will not wish to work in such conditions when hour-long meetings are scheduled one after another without the possibility of canceling them. The owner, who promised to send a master quickly after my repeated call, did not send anyone and stopped answering calls. Why mislead? I warned you that this is an important moment for me. I should have said right away that there would be no replacement of light bulbs, and not to play this show and lie to the last. I would have moved in quietly. That's not all. The owner sent messages at night, which I ignored, continued to write during the day and began to accuse me in messages that I undeservedly gave a low rating, and moved on to threats ("if you are with us like this, then we will behave differently"). Naturally, after these words, I hurriedly returned to this mini-hotel, packed my suitcase and moved out. Intimidate a woman and lie low and mean!
