I recommend you to visit! I went to this monument purposefully. There is a huge range of emotions, it's great that there is an information stand with a QR code: you can read in detail about the history of the place and the events related to it. No one is forgotten and nothing is forgotten! From this point there is a beautiful view of the Neman River and the surrounding area.

I accidentally "stumbled upon" this monument during a bike ride. It is located on the high steep bank of the Neman River, from where you can enjoy a stunning view. In this place, the Soviet border guards took the fight on the first day in June 1941. And they died heroically. An atmospheric place. One of the deepest impressions after visiting Grodno.
