Rassokha is a former septic tank of contaminated equipment located near the village of the same name in the exclusion zone of the Chernobyl nuclear power plant. History: In April 1986, the largest man-made disaster in the history of mankind occurred at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant. To eliminate the consequences of the accident, equipment was used, which was deadly to operate after intense radiation exposure. There was a point of sanitary treatment of radioactive equipment in Rassokha. Heavily contaminated equipment to be disposed of was stored on the southern outskirts of the village. Some of the cars were buried, the rest were left in the open air. Among the equipment stored in Rassokha were Mi-8 and Mi-6 helicopters, barrier engineering vehicles, armored recovery vehicles, floating tracked transporters, wheeled armored personnel carriers, chemical reconnaissance vehicles, cars and other equipment. The area of the burial ground in Rassokha was about 20 hectares. At the end of 2012, the septic tank was officially liquidated. The remnants of the equipment were moved to the Vector plant for further disposal and burial.
