Our tour of mountainous Adjara began from the Mahuntseti waterfall. It is considered the highest in Adjara (30 meters). Since it is not far from Batumi and it is convenient to reach it not only by car, but also by a large tour bus (just 100 meters from the highway), this is a popular location. No wonder our guide insisted on an early departure and was right. Although we were on June 16, on a weekday, but in the morning it was already busy, quite a lot of tourists (individual and in mini-groups in minibuses) tourists. As we were leaving, we saw large tour buses at the entrance. So we were lucky that we managed to watch it before the real pandemonium. The waterfall has a fairly large parking lot, there were already a lot of cars, so our guide did not immediately find our convenient location. There is a toilet (1 GEL, you need to throw a coin into the machine), a market with local products (more expensive than at Boni market), souvenirs, ice cream (several times more expensive than in the shops of Batumi). Bridges lead to the waterfall. . There is a large boulder near the waterfall for a photo shoot. It's nice to refresh yourself in the heat. Everything is splashed. We stood in an impromptu queue to take pictures. This is far from the first waterfall we have seen, we have also seen much higher waterfalls (for example, the Sofia Waterfalls in Arkhyz), but still it makes a good impression, especially in early summer, framed by fresh flowering vegetation. It would not be worth going just for this waterfall alone, but it fits seamlessly into the tour program (three waterfalls, three arched bridges, etc.). The place itself seemed very touristic.

The waterfall is beautiful. It is necessary to go in the evening- there are crowds of people in the morning. It's beautifully equipped, but on the way you pass through a line of tents, souvenirs, wine, dodging cars and ATVs that also crawl between the stalls.
