Great viewing platform: Batumi, Kvariati, Gonio, Gonio fortress, the sea, the nature around- everything is great!!!. I recommend you to visit. I took a taxi to get there. By agreement with the driver: round trip. The expectation was 40 lari from/to Kaczynski Square. It's worth it, because the road is difficult: steep, winding, and the road surface is poor. By car is an ideal option. I wouldn't walk through the woods even in company.

We went to this point, expecting to see the same cross there. We wandered along different paths for a long time and realized that there was NOTHING at this point!!! Just a forest. Beautiful forest- tangerines, nuts, coniferous trees. If you want to get to the cross, type "Jvari" on the map.

The views are very beautiful , especially at sunset. You can get to the place by car, but the maps are not correct, you need to turn off the highway to Avgia Street and climb up this street right to the observation deck where the cross itself, the road is paved, you can drive any car. I recommend driving before sunset.
