Mirveti Waterfall is a picturesque place located in the foothills of Upper Adjara. The height is about 15 meters. Unlike the popular Mahuntseti waterfall, Mirveti is smaller in height, but it is distinguished by its relief and picturesqueness. The water flows down the mossy stones, forming a small pool below. A little bit of cascading. The path to the waterfall passes through rocks covered with tropical vegetation, which is why it is called the "Georgian jungle". Boxwood trees covered with moss grow along the trail, which creates the atmosphere of a fabulous forest. In the evenings, the footpath is lit. Nearby is one of the arch bridges that are so popular in Adjara. It is not far from the waterfall, built in the Middle Ages, preserved in excellent condition. Also, at the same point there is a confluence of the Chorokhi and Adjaristskali rivers. You can see a rare natural phenomenon when brown and blue rivers meet - the water there almost never mixes, so the separation is clearly visible to the eye.

Mirveti Waterfall (20 meters) is less crowded than the famous Mahuntseti, where we were before, although it is located almost nearby. Mahuntseti is located right by the highway, while Mirveti is less accessible and hidden in a boxwood forest. To get to it, you need to cross a narrow cable-stayed bridge over the Chorokh River. The bridge (built in 1970) is so narrow that only one car can enter without two cars separating. A sign with the inscription "The bridge is the pride of the village" is installed in front of the entrance to the bridge. And there is a rule posted for polite drivers explaining who should give way to whom on a narrow bridge. Our guide drove us across the bridge. The bus won't pass through here. Some individual tourists park at the bridge (there is parking) and then walk across the bridge and along the road for about 2 km. We drove by car to the campsite on the shore of Chorokha, parked. There are no crowds of tourists and few merchants here, selling only local sweets. We bought a churchkhela from a local grandmother, but it turned out to be not as fresh as on Boni's wound in Batumi and more expensive. You need to walk to the waterfall from the parking lot. A very beautiful scenic road, first along the houses and outbuildings (we examined with interest the two-story barns where the suspended corn was dried and stored), and then turn right at the fork and walk along the stone-paved path through the "Adjara jungle", pass through a wooden arch and a bridge. And here it is a waterfall. Small, but very picturesque and atmospheric. The area at the foot of the waterfall is small, and you won't see anything with a large crowd of people. And there are many times fewer tourists here than at the Mahuntseti waterfall. At first we were all alone, then another family came over. We calmly took photos and took a walk. To see this waterfall, it is necessary to follow the route that we love, and not just drive up to the waterfall and get out of the car.

Beautiful waterfall. In August, there are really a lot of people who want to see the waterfall. Paid parking and a grandmother with very tasty potato pies on the way (I already had to go for pies a second time). The bridge is on the way, it's still an adventure.
